"A bag filled with inert gases is apparently one of the best ways to surely kill someone without revealing the cause of death" -- Russel Odgen
just read an article about a guy in BC who is doing his PhD research on euthanasia and how he has to go through so much just to do his research.. and he hasnt even gotten his PhD yet! according to this article, researchers in US are protected by law against involuntary disclosure of information on research.. but researchers in Canada are not (which is why mr odgen has been subpoena-ed 3 times already.. causing him to put his data in hiding just in case they decide to come up with a search warrant) personally i hope that a law would be implemented to protect researchers in Canada.. i mean they are not committing/assisting a crime.. they are just trying to find out how/why it is even happening in the first place...

body language (actions) speaks volumes! this morning i saw a couple walking together holding hands until they came to the junction.. as they were crossing the road they were not holding hands.. and the guy was walking slightly ahead of the girl.. the light was blinking just as they were about to cross the road.. and when they got to the other side, they held hands again!!!
what kinda guy would let go of his gf's hand when they are crossing the road and rush to the other side first??! geez!

heard from my lecturer today that my chem test this coming monday is going to consist of 3 questions ONLY! i dunno whether to be happy.. or scared to hell! 3 questions worth 25% - 30% of my course... *shudder*

still havent got my hand on the history text. supposedly it's coming in on thursday.. so hopefully that's true.. i guess the part of me that's dying to get the text is just trying to grab onto some false sense of security.. maybe it's coz i havent done history in a long time.. and/or maybe it's coz i dont have a very complete set of lecture notes.. and/or very likely it's also coz it's british history we're talking abt here.. anyhow i just really REALLy wanna get that text a.s.a.p. false or not it's still some sort of 'security'

its been soooooooo long since i last updated my blog.. hehe...

at first it was coz i 'didnt' have internet connection.. then later coz i was busy planning/moving and getting settled down..

well i've just lived through the 3rd week of class... i'm glad that i like most of the courses im taking this sem (so far).. bio is a lil trouble though.. i cant seem to get adapted to belinda chang's style of teaching.. i dont doubt she's real smart and she really tries to teach us well.. but i just cant seem to get myself to enjoy her class... and its really depressing coz i used to really like bio.. even bio150 dont seem that bad now.. hai...

history on the other hand.. im hoping it wont be too bad once i get my hand on the elusive textbook.. i guess besides the reading.. it isnt really so bad YET.. hehe.. but having a great tutor sure helps! i was actually on a high right aft my first history tutorial.. hahhaa

been having badminton sessions on thursdays for the past 2 weeks.. FINALLY im doing some kinda sports besides walking :)
