Just another day...

had a nice chat with rex last night. and we seem to have developed this "pattern"... where i'll send him a card every year... and he'll call to say thanks... hmm... including this year it'll be the... 8th year! wow! didnt notice its been that long...

bt he's still so nice... and he's supposedly lost 20 pounds! *IMPRESSED* well just hope that if i do get a chance to go down to melaka... i'll be able to meet up with him... just to see for myself what he looks like now... hehe...

watched the holland vs sweden (or orange vs lemon match as choot calls it)... which ended in a penalty shootout favouring holland.. mom claims i'm living in a different world..(or at least a place with a different time-zone).. coz i only go to bed when she (and everyone else) wakes up :p lol

the day kick started with holland going into the quarter finals instead of germany... got a call from tk at 5 smt am... haha... he insisted on finish singing a song before he goes to bed... i cant say he's the best singer in the world :p hehe.. but its the thought that counts... and he truly is a die-hard football fan(atic? lol)... he's been travelling back and forth btw jb and sg everyday to watch the matches. i really wonder how he gets up in the morning to go to class...

went out for dinner tonight... got a call from kx... hehe... she called earlier during the day (when i was sleeping) and promised to call again when my brain is ready for work :p had a short chit chat... and cher was doing a promo sort-of...

was messing around with the sewing machine today... haha... sweing skills went down the drain... or maybe its just my planning skills... hehe.. will give it another try tomorrow :)

got a cheeky card from cher today.. haha... and i think she left me with wise words.. if we dont learn to laugh at ourselves then life's not gonna be good.. how true :)

missed kx's call... sigh... could really use a chat... a lil troubled lately... then been getting weird dreams too... actually took to checking out the interpretations now and then just for the fun of it.. haha.. can come up with pretty weird things sometimes.

should go help ys look for her brown sandals again soon... or else i'd be in trouble if i dun have a few good ones to recommend by the time she gets back. but my clock's been turned maybe 120 degrees lately... i go to sleep when ppl wake up! susah...

met up with stef and hwa chin last night... heard 'interesting facts' about usm residence. decided would really like to go have a look one of these days. still dont really get the concept stef was trying to explain...

watched soccer after that. holland lost... hai...

today's father's day. went out for lunch in bm. hy's treat... he's one super 'kiam siap' fella.. neways dinner was my treat. went to b'worth... food wasnt that great unfortunately. dad did say we're going to penang for 'sang mein' next weekend tho :p~

ys has decided to come back for good... now i've gotta start clearing up the room to make space for her stuff... its gonna be one difficult task... no.. make that super very extremely almost impossibly difficult... sigh

now abit blur... perng dragged in more than 10 ppl who dunno each other and everyone was talking to everyone...

went to penang island today. at the pier i saw this guy wearing a very 'catchy' shirt that says 'hair impression' on his back... look a lil higher... and you'll see it should have said 'hair making an impression'. lol

anyway the shopping trip was not anywhere near good. couldnt find anything that i really like. so i bought some blank cds and rechargable batteries instead.

dad told me i'm prolly going to get my nyonya chang on tuesday! woo hoo! :p~ havent had it for soooooooooooo long.

going about applying for the apartment next year. hai.. sien...

watched italy vs denmark just now... 0-0 draw!!! :( disappointing.. hai...

but i do think the italian jersey looks real good though. its white with the names and numbers in gold (outlined in silver?).. abit harder to read... but still nice!

just finish watching 'passion of the christ'... think its a really moving show.. its hard to accept that some people can actually be so cruel. feeling things i cant really describe... hmm..

the one thing that wasnt so good was that it wasnt in english. and the subtitles werent always available. but even then, just based on the scenes and music alone, i think its a very powerful show.

really dumb that this movie is actualy banned in m'sia... oh well... m'sia will be m'sia i guess.. you get some good things... and some bad things.

stayed up to watch the france vs england match. everyone was predicting france will win (including myself :p) but suprisingly england scored the first goal. and held on... towards the end i thought that they would pull another shocker like greece's win. and then *snap* just like that in 3 minutes of injury time france came back and scored a 2 goals to win! definitely lady luck at work... and i was there to witness it! ;p

haven't blogged in a while... mostly because i havent been up to much lately...

finally met up with 'everyone' today... before they leave for uni this weekend. think this will prolly be the last time (in a long long time) we're all going to gather together. sigh... soi poh couldnt make it for the gathering.. so she came over later on. had a quick chat. she'll be going to sabah tomorrow :`( i'll definitely miss her... them... alot!

went for mamak... had roti bom... first time... its ok i guess... but i still prefer roti tisu or just roti kosong.

found out that hwa chin is planning to go down to sg end of july too... now i might have company! today's also tk's b'day... the card i sent him arrived right on time! :) guess the postal service from here is still quite efficient. well at least there are still some good news...

saw a very animated 'tarzan' through the eyes of a seven year old kid today... man ji(zi? dunno how to spell) put up a 20 mins one man(kid?) show (full of action) of tarzan :) cute... i think she was actually sweating by the time she 'finished'... well that was dinner with uncle chung's family...

finally decided it was high time i stated out a fact: everyone... and i mean EVERYONE! seems to feel a need to say something (anything) about my face... ok i do know i have a very big acne problem... honestly who else should know better than me??

do you think there's even the slightest possibility i want to look like this? but hey... i dont have a choice, so i live with it... personally, i think i dont look half bad without the acne.. and just sometimes... i think i dont look half bad when i smile even with the acne, if you're looking from the right angle :p and honestly without the constant reminder of 'oh my god... what happened to your face??' from everyone... i think i'd be alot happier... and very grateful.

even my parents arent being very helpful in this matter. sigh... i guess im just tired of everyone constantly talking about my face.. and trying to give me their miracle solution which will turn my face acne-free. i truly appreciate the thought... but i've undergone treatment and all... and for a while i actually had acne-free skin.. but then it came back... and i do NOT know why! so will you please stop asking me why... coz im no doctor and i have no intention of being one... at least not in this lifetime.

sigh.. *just needed to vent* acne or no-acne... i am who i am... my friends take me as i come... packaged with acne and all... so if its a pretty face you're looking for... well may you have better luck elsewhere... coz you ain't going to find one here. no-no...
