5 days more..

How excited I can be!!

Went back for duty just on thursday.. Oh man, it was so damn tiring.. Only had sleep of not more than 3 hours in that 24hrs of duty. Perhaps, i was on leave for too long and not use to doing duty already.. And not forgetting the nite before i only slept at 3am and woke up at 6.30am to go back camp....

Ha, in the end, when i was off yesterday and back home, i slept from 1230pm to 6pm..

Anyway, i was quite pissed when my PC asked me to do duty tmr. It is public holiday man. And by right i dont have to do duty. But we have shortage of people... Damn it. Amos is on his overseas leave and James on light duties cuz of injured leg.. Sianz..

But nevermind... 11 days more to endure!

Last saturday (14May) was Simon's 21st birthday celebration party. It was held at the Straits Cafe at Hotel Rendezvous... It was buffet dinner. Not really an international one as i had thought but well, only the desserts and his birthday cake were nice... Haha.

Anyway, only 5 of us turned up and once again, we were reminiscing about the days 5 years ago in Catholic High. Kinda nostalgic, yah... 21 years old already. How time flies... Perhaps 5 or 10 years down the road, whenever we gather, it gonna be deja vu once again...

Ha, in case our memory will fail us, we should write down whatever we can remember about the past and put them in a time-capsule... Good for reference next time.

Then on Sunday (15May), I went to Yiwen's birthday party at Downtown East with Jasmine. Guess what... We have not met each other since 1996 when we graduated from our primary school. And the amazing thing is, the 3 of us were only same class for primary 1 to 3, not 4 to 6. But we took the same school bus to school at that time.

The feeling was really wierd at first cuz it was almost 9 years already, but it was soon overcome with feeling of nostalgic once again... Really quite interesting to know what the other classmates are doing now and for some who just totally lost in contact..

But really, friendster is a good way. That's how i got in contact with Jasmine months ago. Perhaps should just start searching for people i wish to meet.. Haha. Anyway, for my primary 6 class, in year 1996 when we collected our posting, we had promised to meet again 10 years later back at the school canteen. And that is next year 2006 30th November. Getting closer already... Yes, hope everyone will appear..

And just yesterday, 17May, we were at ROM to witness my sister's solemnization. After that, it was a buffet lunch at the chalet at NSRCC. Then at nite, we had BBQ together with buffet dinner also. The food was too much to be able to finish...

When I was bbqing the food with my aunt's maid and another aunt's maid, one of them actually asked me when is my turn... I told her im too young already. And upon knowing im 21, they were quite shocked. Oh my... do i really look that old... Haha

21st Birthday!!

Yes, the day just came and left briefly. But my celebrations were much longer...

First, the day, 5May, was for my camp mates. We had a KTV session at PartyWorld in the afternoon.

Actually, I only informed Ngo about it 2hours before we were supposed to meet. And he got something on. But later, he postponed it to the next so as to join us. Wah, so touched.

Got this bottle of Absolut Vodka from Weilong and Robin.

After KTV, we went to meet the rest for dinner at a restaurant at Raffles Hotel. Actually should have 10 people. But only 6 present. From left:Victor, Robin, David, Slim, Jason, Me
Weilong had to meet his ex-girlfriend last minute so he didnt join us for dinner. Then the 3 other who didnt come, I shant elaborate much. Kinda disappointed. But ironically, these 3 are the ones i dislike most in my section. Ha...

Anyway, after the expensive dinner (which i actually regretted going cuz it was too expensive), David, Jason, Robin and I went to play pool. We had lots of fun and laughters... Haha.


The second night on 6May was for my JC good friends. Lih Sheng and I were waiting for the girls at Boat Quay since 7pm but they only appeared at 8.45pm.. Ha. So in the mean time, we walked around. Went to Fullerton Hotel toilet and also checked out the chocolate fountain at the chocolate buffet. Smelled so good. Also went to the Merlion there.
Ah, too blur cuz i set the exposure time to 4 seconds and had a bit of shaky hands. Hence the result. But i like the effect of the water from the Merlion's mouth.
Tried again, but this time with different setting. The background turned out to be darker.
Ahh.. The night landscape of Marina. Oh, the water from the Merlion was inside too.. Haha.

Anyway, we had our dinner at Pasta Fresta along Boat Quay. It was very nice. Not that expensive also.

Yup, the 4 of us and i got this bag from May..
A very nice bag for use when i enter university.. Ha. The flap is leathery and has a slight tinge of purple while the inside is green... Quite like it.

Later we met up with Kangrui(wearing white) who had just finished his work. We watched midnight movie - Kingdom of Heavens at Suntec...


And on the actual day of my birthday (7May), I celebrated with 4-10 people.. Ha. We had dinner at Marche at Heeren...

Ha, actually i wanted a Philippe S+arck watch since year 2002 but didnt buy it.. Well, Alan was creative enough to get a mouse instead... Quite cool. Next a FreshBox t-shirt from Alvin...

Hmmm... i think i've got a very short term memory some times..

I was chatting with a person on MSN and was thinking of a question to ask and had thought of it already. Before i could type, that person messaged me first and so i replied. And then next moment, I forgot what i wanted to ask!!

I was watching tv and i'd received a sms. Went to read it and wanted to reply. Then something interesting on tv had caught my attention. So i closed my phone first. And next moment, i could forget to reply the sms until several hours later!

I was lying on bed thinking something... Another thought came up. And next moment, i had forgotten what i was thinking about before. This, especially, had happened several times before...

Darn... i think my memory is failing me. I can actually forget what i was thinking like 5 seconds ago.

I need some memory booster!

Last week had been quite busy.. yah, im on leave again since 26Apr and will only be back in camp for half day on 9May... So that's quite a long break.

My computer had some problem and this made a good excuse for me to buy a new one... Haha. So went down to Sim Lim and bought a customised computer for $1031! The specifications are quite decent - Pentium 4 3.0GHz, 80GB harddisk, 512MB Ram, a DVD-RW drive and nVidia GeForce FX6600. Quite happy with it.. Ha

Anyway, it was Alan's birthday last friday and so we had a celebration at PartyWorld KTV...

And my is coming soon, yet till now, i still havent decided what to do, where to go...Gonna spend a lot of money this time... Not only that, I also made a new spectacles for $230 recently and bought a SD memory card for my digital camera for $73. With all these including the new computer, i think i will use up my hard earned savings for the past 6 months at least... Yes, everything from my pocket... hiaz..

Went to David Tao's Live Performance last saturday at Singapore Expo. The tickets were free as i've won it from Singnet. I got to be the first 50 person to download one of his mp3s.. Actually the email to inform me that i've won ended up in my junk mail folder. The email heading was 'Congratulations!' So naturally it was treated as junk. Luckily i went to click and see and realised i've won... Ha. Feeling lucky. The performance was about an hour only... Nothing much too..

29 more days to go and i'll be unemployed...

How ironic this feeling is..
