I have officially started work on 01 October 2009.
And before i started work, i managed to squeeze in time to go overseas for 4 days 3 nights alone! I only booked my air tickets just 40 hours before i fly. Personal breakthrough and experience that i gave myself.
Work has been interesting, but tiring. For the first 4 days, i was at 4 different locations, from the main office, to Plaza Singapura, to Ion Orchard, to Tampines One.
But i still like my job. That's very important.
And so the commencement is over. This marks the end of our undergraduate life.
And then the ESE Graduation dinner is over also and it was my first time to choreograph a whole dance item.
First time usually means amateurish, but at least i could learn from it.
I'm still looking for a job. I think it is time that i start worrying. I've just applied some companies though. Ha.
Anyway, getting lazy to update blog. Feels like quite meaningless.
Ah, that's a bad thing.
Oh i did format my laptop, and it did become faster a bit. But it is still not fast enough for me to play my game.
So came the PC Show and in the end i bought a Lenovo desktop. Ha.
And it came with a 21.5 inch Full HD LCD monitor...
I'm back to blogging, because i can't stand my laptop being so slow. I'm going to format it. So before i format, i shall update here, because maybe my laptop may die after formatting. Ha.
After FYP has ended, i think i've slacked too much.
Chilled out with 4-10 peeps at Coffee Club at the first hour of my birthday.
KTV-ed the second time of my NUS's life with the ESE class and also celebrated my birthday. Cool.
Swensen-ed and Zirca-ed at night with the rest.
Flew off to Korea the next day and spent the next 10 days there.
Slacked some more and off i went to KL and Genting on plane. How lavish it sounded and I've won RM50 on the tables.
Dancing, gaming, singing, sleeping are the main things i do now.
Jobs? Later bah.
Exam is over.
FYP final presentation is over.
FYP final report is also finished, after being told by the examiner to add a little bit more of literature review during the presentation.
School is over.
NUS is over.
Here's come the reality... I'm officially unemployed!
But let me relax first. Haha.
The terrifying FYP poster presentation was held last Friday. They invited so many big names in the industry to view our posters and said they may even employ us if we are good.
Apparently not.
But still, it was quite an interesting experience. Despite my dull poster and simple project title, i still managed to present my poster to 7 different people and 5 ESE juniors.
And i stumbled at some point of time when i could not answer their questions especially when my experiment results were very unsatisfactory and most of the time i ended with 'more future study can be done'. Haha.
Anyway, now that the poster presentation was over and the thesis has been submitted, i left just 1 final exam to take and 1 final presentation to make.
And this will mark the end to my NUS life, except for that Commencement Ceremony. Haha.
Think i should make use of the school facilities now as much as possible before my matric card expires!
I think i'm rather lazy to blog nowadays.
And i'm really lazing around, when my FYP's experiments have failed mostly. So i don't know what else to do.
Furthermore, i only have 1 module, excluding FYP. So slack i realised.
I haven't really started finding a job, if not considering the career fair in NUS.
And i get rather irritated by someone from our class who kept sms-ing about job offers when i'm not interested at all.
I think i've been dancing actively, with another performance coming up.
So i've put studies and career into the back of my mind.
Sounds wrong, i think.
Ok, I'm just joking about that.
Another year has gone.
Does it appear like as one gets older, time seems to past faster?
2008 has not been a great year and 2009 is a year with many uncertainties...
Many things have happened, both good and bad. But more importantly is to look forward.
4 more months and i'm out of school!
Doesn't sound too good.
It was one of the few times that our class get together and this time it was a End-of-Semester dinner on last saturday (13 Dec).
The attendance was almost half the class size, and i would consider it quite a good one. Ha.
The concert is finally over on Monday (08 Dec'08), but with any other concerts, the post-concert emptiness feeling will set it.
Simply because there won't be any practices, rehearsals, or get-together to sweat, laugh and dance.
But still, the concert is definitely a good one, at least to us, our item. Haha.
The feel-good factor was very strong the moment we stepped off the stage, that's the difference between that and other rehearsals.
You will know it.
It was my first time involved in a production by a commercial dance school, and it sure felt somewhat different as compared to past performances...
Exams has already ended quite some time for me, but instead of resuming my FYP, i'm giving myself some well-deserved break for the moment.
How i wish i don't have to do my FYP, because it is such a spoiler to the vacation period.
But for now, i shall enjoy while it lasts. Ha.
I'm still dancing now and then, in school and outside school, and am involved in a performance which is coming soon...
Exams have ended for me, much earlier as compared to the rest.
But i'm enjoying it alone. How sad it sounded.
Perhaps the sadder things are i'm closer to graduating, closer to start working, closer to start the dreaded FYP.
Anyway, i was late for my paper today for 10minutes and to think the lecturer actually called me on my phone when i was still stucked on the bus. How bad it can be.
But at least it is over, though i don't feel any particular excited about it.
