Mardi Gras
Exams week has just ended, hence there isn't really much to update about. Besides that, Laramie isn't really a town for tourist. So yeah. Well the highlight of the week was Mardi Gras! But before that, Nurul & I are honoured to be able to co-host a radio talk show by University of Wyoming the night before Mardi Gras. By the way, Mardi Gras is a French festival held before Ash Wednesday when Christians & Catholics began their fasting till Easter (hope I'm correct about this). It literally stands for "Fat Tuesday", which all the devotees feast before their grand sacrifice for his holiness. Anyway, being able to attend a 'live' radio show is totally awesome. Haha. It's actually organised by the International Student Association & they invite foreign students to attend each week. Being the first batch of Singaporeans here, of course we have to attend it. Haha. Here's out the studio looks like. I think I looked damn cool with the headphones....
