You know what?

You know what? Not putting money in the top priority of my life, is precisely the reason why people love me. And these people loved me for who I am. Oh fyi, I am fucking proud of who I am.

don't have a title in this post

Reality is what bites and chews away your heart. Got this somewhere from one of my friends whom I haven't seen for sometime. She shares the same birthday as me though, but there's beside the point. You know, my closest and oldest group of friends, that bunch from Montfort , is really old and have been thinking too way ahead ever since they were younger. Now we stand with each other knowing what each of us wants in life. I can't say that everyone of us knows what he wants but.. roughly there I guess. Have been seeing them a lot lately. Talked a bit, a huge bit. The topic revolves around money. Wei Yen is working at Great Eastern and interning at an Audit firm in Tiong Bahru . Khong Chin, on the other hand, is currently still stuck in the Navy for another year or so. Alvyn's working at his uncle's company, helping out with marketing stuff. As for me, I am just slacking at home waiting for things to happen. Everyone's working towards something in a sense. One d...

back n jet lagged

Hello peeps. For those who still don't have a clue, yours truly is back in Singapore. =) Haha. I am still a little jet-lagged, but I think I will get over it. At first I wanted to blog about my road trip here, with pictures and stuff. But uploading the pictures to Facebook alone is already a big problem. Hence, I think I will just tell you about it when I see you. If not, I guess there's no loss. It's kind of weird. The longing to be back and meet up with loved ones and friends hastened our arrival in Singapore. Yet I don't have a thing to do. It's kind of ironic that everyone's busy and stuff. But I guess that's how it is. Feel so detached from everything just because I wasn't here for 5 months. Anyway, here's to update people who are interested to know about my upcoming events : 1. I want to give tuition. Haha. Running low on cash. 2. I have RT starting June, and ICT in late July. 3. I have attachment in July. 4. I think I will get an iPhone. 5. I ...

Some people just don't learn. If that's the only thing you think about most of the time, I can't see you having it in the near future. Actually didn't want to blog today, but a spur of the moment brought me here. Anyway, school has officially ended, and next week will be final weeks. It's been an awesome semester so far, not that the school here is great, but compared to my slogging friends back in Singapore, I am surely enjoying myself. There's really nothing much to update, since there isn't much life in Laramie. But I scored full marks for my Intellectual Disability essay and I am rather happy about it. Then again, the marking here is quite lenient. But still, you know. I will upload pictures about the country dancing and the international students meet up this weekend. And of course, I will post pictures of my beautiful campus. I am sure you guys will never ever come here in your life time, so just take that as a virtual tour. =) I was in Miami two weeke...

long time

It's been a long time since I blogged. I was supposed to when I came back from Spring Break. I had lots to say actually, but now that I am actually here, I don't really feel like saying them anymore. Spring Break was nice, Niagara Falls is very pretty and awesome. I took many pictures including one that showed me having a double chin. New York was a little bit more on the disappointing side. Although I did get to see some major attractions like Empire State Building and Statue of Liberty, it didn't really make my trip worthwhile. Haha. The people there were a little... racist. I had a few problems with the customs and it made me wonder if they are just trying to make life difficult for me. Perhaps I haven't travel around enough to figure that, everyone is racist to a certain degree. But oh wells, it was a good experience. Somehow, in a weird way, it made me appreciate my homeland more. I won't be posting pictures, as you know, there will be tons of it, and they are ...

Mardi Gras

Image
Exams week has just ended, hence there isn't really much to update about. Besides that, Laramie isn't really a town for tourist. So yeah. Well the highlight of the week was Mardi Gras! But before that, Nurul & I are honoured to be able to co-host a radio talk show by University of Wyoming the night before Mardi Gras. By the way, Mardi Gras is a French festival held before Ash Wednesday when Christians & Catholics began their fasting till Easter (hope I'm correct about this). It literally stands for "Fat Tuesday", which all the devotees feast before their grand sacrifice for his holiness. Anyway, being able to attend a 'live' radio show is totally awesome. Haha. It's actually organised by the International Student Association & they invite foreign students to attend each week. Being the first batch of Singaporeans here, of course we have to attend it. Haha. Here's out the studio looks like. I think I looked damn cool with the headphones....

When the cold wind blows

Hey I know I am late by one week, but it's better late than never right? At least I am still alive. Haha. Anyway, I've been living in Laramie for a month now, and really, if you have lived in a freezer for 1 month, there's really no other place you can't survive in. Oh wait, there's still the desert. Heh. The past 2 weeks had been busy ones. Lot of stuffs happened, good and bad, but it's all part of learning and experiencing life outside of Singapore. Exams and tests are mostly held this week and next week, hence everyone's in the mugging mood, well, us being the exception of course. I have been skipping class too. =x So anyway, it's mainly about food these 2 weeks. Putting your concern elsewhere, we had our own Potluck two Saturdays ago. Well, obviously Singaporeans don't really know how to cook, so Emman (from Philippines) whipped up some of his specialties from home for us. & Really, Asian food tastes damn good when you are in a Western countr...

2nd week in laramie

Woot. It's the 2nd week in Laramie, Wyoming already. Didn't really do much this week, but nonetheless I still have stuffs to blog about. After the trip from Miami, school has started to pick up a little. There are assignments and readings (which I refused to start on) here and there and they go one chapter in 2 days. So it's kind of difficult to motivate yourself to read, especially when you know your grades doesn't really matter. Haha. Well, the main highlight for this week is the club and the indian restaurant that we visited. First up, the club. I am sure you guys must be wondering how is it like in a club in United States. We visited one on Thursday night, but as we have minors with us, we could only enter the 18 & above club. Haha. You shouldn't generalise what you see here to the major cities in US. Laramie is a peaceful and sparsely populated town, so what you see here is quite simple and plain. A wooden dance floor, a wide screen projector, and a few cow...

End of first week in UW

I am at Denver International Airport now! Haha. Some of you might be wondering why. I am on my way to visit Carmen at Miami! Woohoo. Hot and warm weather for a change! Haha. But I have to stick around at the airport for 12 hours. Haha. Oh wells. Good things come with a price. =) Anyway, here's the end of another week, so here I am updating the fun, joy & laughter from Laramie, Wyoming. Anyway, last Sunday we went for a church meeting at one of our International Coordinators' house. Well, I am not a big fan of such stuff, but I just tagged along. I can't remember what we read, so pardon me for not explaining what was discussed. To me, the highlight wasn't the things that they discussed in the bible, but these cute adorable ANG MOH kids that were in the house. They are like totally adorable. I just feel like cuddling them all the time, but I didn't, if not I would appear like a dirty old man. Haha. Everyone wants a piece of them. After that, we were cordially invi...
