movie 'L change the world'

Today was yet another "CASTAWAY" day for the few temporary staffs. Had the 'honour' of having Michelle to join us. Caught the movie 'L: Change the World'. Haha. There were some hilarious moments although the beginning was a bit confusing to understand. Haha. We went in late and saw the scenes in Thailand, and we thought we were in the wrong show. For those who've watched I think they will understand what I mean. I love that pink steering wheel of the 'Angel Crepe' van! Haha. Watched the movie at Tampines, and considering that location is quite far into the East and quite inaccessible to Hougang, I took a train with Aloysius to Pasir Ris and sit that good old Bus service 88 home. Its been quite a while since I last took a bus alone at night. The deafening silence and the passing lights from the road lamps somewhat gotten me frozen in time. The expressway looked like an endless runway where I won't take off. Soon after, I dozed off. And yet by co...

nice weekend

Its was an awesome weekend, although I have to start off by saying sorry to Ming Min and gang for missing out on the outing on Saturday, due to some reasons. I had a great game at soccer on Saturday morning, and that certainly made up for what I missed last weekend, due to some sudden viral infection and high fever. And that was followed by basketball with S3A the next day, early in NYJC. It was empty though, with the usual mob of Japanese soccer kids missing in action. Leslie commented that the organisation was one of the best, as it took just less than 2 hours just to confirm everyone's attendance(although Sok Fong didn't really do anything), but well, it was her who pulled this together. Haha. To everyone who has read Robert Kiyosaki's famous book "Rich Dad, Poor Dad", I played a game that he invented at Khong Chin's house on Sunday, before heading down to Si Jun's birthday chalet. Its called the 'Cash Flow Game', and its supposed to give a prag...

Seriously, I am disappointed. I am disappointed in a lot of things. I didn't even think it wasn't worth the effort. At least a reply will do, and the little significance it seems to make is highly important to me. Sometimes, I just wonder why such thoughts go to waste when the other side doesn't reciprocrate. Its happening everywhere. I am getting frustrated at the lack of effort. Maybe its my fault after all, but you can't blame it all on me. You can't, it's just unfair.

Youth Olympics

I have to congratulate Singapore for obtaining the rights to host the Youth Olympics 2010. Haha. I am sure it will be a great event, and I am definitely going to catch it, when its here. Its still kind of far away though. Anyway, the usual gang had supper last night, and I am glad we met up. I wonder if I should say its sad or better that the strength of our clique has decreased to a new high. Haha. Actually, in one way, the way it is now keeps things tight within our group. Well, the imminent re-appearance of Alex due to singlehood is not bad too. Coming online seems like a chore now, with no one to talk to, and no one talking to you. Haha. I totally agree with Wei Yen. I seriously think I am a pure Virgo. That being said, whatever you have read out there applies to me, one way or another.

Guys in and out of army, you people should read this. Funny shit. http://uncyclopedia.org/wiki/Singapore_Armed_Forces A dead weekend. Can somebody ease my boredom?

sick again

I ended this week with a severly high fever. Went to the doctor's with a temperature of 39.2 degrees celsius, to realise that I am down with viral infection. Haha. I think its due to the bad weather and the New Year goodies and sleepless nights. Talking about sleepless nights, I was quite pissed of with John, who sms-ed me past midnight, and didn't reply my reply after that. That woke me up and left me awake for 4 hours. Crap. If you people want to sms me at night, at least wait for my reply, as I am not a deep sleeper. I need tons 0f rest. So wanting to go for soccer tomorrow, but risking my health over it is just... Haix. And its Wen Fang's birthday! Happy 21st!

In a desperate attempt to indulge ourselves in the dissipating Chinese New Year atmosphere, 3 of us met up for supper despite heavy commitments the next day. Risking the chance of ommiting one zero when issuing a 2 million dollar cheque, I braved all odds to catch soccer at Hougang Plaza till 1 plus in the morning. To top it off, the alcohol that merged into my bloodstream kept me awake till 4a.m. Well done. I was literally a full-fledged zombie at work today. Well, we went Chomp Chomp for supper, after which dropped by Hougang Plaza. Haha. Of course the food wasn't the most important part. Chatting freely and talking rubbish with each other seem to entice us more than anything else. Haha. We were discussing about the 'Truth or Dare Drunkard Elephant' game that we played the other day. Haha. And now we are trying to drag Alex into it. Cheers to all! Basketball this Sunday, S3A?

quiet NY

It's been a pretty quiet Chinese New Year so far. With things not going well in the first day of visiting, the mood seems to have vanished together with it. I went to Alvyn house yesterday night, together with Khong Chin & Wei Yen. Alex has been the usual, in "putting us aeroplane." Haha. It was a fun night though it was extremely exhausting for some. Wei Yen has to work today, while Alvyn's on duty. I haven't played serious mahjong for this New Year yet. Depends on who will start the tiles 'clanging', either S6B or S3A. Haha. I am interested in watching movies! Be it Jay Chou, Stephen Chow or Jack Neo, just bring it! I am so loving the atmosphere with family and friends.

first day of CNY

Chinese New Year is here again. I can still vividly remember the scenes from last year, and suddenly Year 2008 is here. Haha. It was visiting as usual. Seeing rare faces once per year may not be a healthy thing, but at least its better than not seeing each other. All my cousins came except for one, who is working today. Well, its kind of sad that she couldn't make it. But having Zoey here again is fabulous. Haha. The mood definitely changes with her presence. I am going to take a full family picture the next time everyone gathers again. Keep on forgetting. I am free tomorrow, anyone want to hang out?

gone

Its a day back to NYJC for a basketball session with the usual. It was better than the last one, with a nearly full strength of 8 person playing. Kelvin Lim and Zheng Yu were the usual lively, with a new addition of Ho Kong. Haha. Anyway, I am starting to convince myself that I really liked NY for the greater part of my life. Its back to work on Monday. The Chinese New Year mood doesn't seem to get inside me. And where's my pay??

reality vs dreams

Its the end to a hectic month at work. I worked for 2 hours overtime today! I was trying to close and submit the accounts so my boss can check tomorrow when she goes back tomorrow. I met Jevon today by chance on my way home. I almost missed him even though we are standing side by side. Even though I am not very close to him, I can tell he isn't the old crazy him anymore. Haha. He seems settled down. I can only vividly remember his French Horn solo during Persis at SYF 5 years ago. It was quite good, if my memory isn't failing me. Aloysius and gang are playing soccer against Chun Ji tonight. Looks like the recent hype shall end together with the match. All those talks about him puts me off. I have no idea how things turned out to be the way they are now, but I am not interested anymore. Apparently, everything in my life still links back to him, including Shimin. I hate his rotten guts for walking out on our friendship, seriously. And there's more that leads to it. Anyway, ba...
