In Search of Lost Innocence

Another Sunday has passed. Just counting down the days to the next taste of civilian life. Went to Expo to take a look at the Adidas Sale.. As it was the last day, most of the good stuff were already taken.. Merely had a look around.. Haha.. I didn't buy anything... In the end, went to the Popular Book Store Sale next door... Haha.. Saw a book 'The Complete Encyclopedia of Tanks', wanted to get it.. But its kind of expensive.. Haha.. $40 dollars... Went back to Hougang Mall to look for Football Manager 2007.. But couldn't find it.. Maybe it's fated that I can't play games for now... Anyway, I am watching 'Tian Wai Fei Xian' on DVD.. Haha.. All thankz to Ming wei for lending me his precious collection... Went to play pool at Hougang Plaza.. Haha.. Today's performance was much much better than yesterday's.. Heard some things from Adelene just now... Hmmm... There will be other trees that you can grow bearing that fruit. Wondering how you are doing ...

Hmmm.. Another week has passed.. Nothing seemed to have change.. Haha.. Will be going for OM Course next monday... Haha.. Went for the 2nd choir practice today... Not bad, was singing much better than last week.. Hope will be able to perform in good condition for the 3 performances... Currently, my saturdays will be occupied with choir practice.. Wish to gain a good experience by joining MetroPhilharmonic Choir for carolling... Met up with Ying and Leng for dinner on Friday.. Couldn't decide what to eat.. So used my special coin toss method to decide... Ended up at Fish n' Co and had dinner there... After that went shopping with them for a while.. Girls, seriously, can buy anything -.- They bought shoes, slippers, Hula hoops and food.. Wah.. Unimaginable... In some things, I seemed to be very powerless in having any say in it. Or rather, I should not even go and bother myself with such stuffs... Maybe I should just go and live my life. An ordinary life.

Woot.. Today was my first shot at Choir... Met up with Melvin at Hougang Mrt and headed down to Farrer Park.. Haha.. Saw Eng Kee.. I guess he kind of expected me... Well, I learnt quite a bit about singing in a choir.. Haha.. Not bad.. Quite interesting... Will be having performances on the 15th, 16th, 17th, 21st & 22nd of December... The venues are Century Square, Tiong Bahru Plaza, Causeway Point & Millenia Walk.. Haha.. Hoping for a good experience out of this.. After that, met up with Jun Yang and Eugene to have dinner at Fish & Co... First time there, and I had quite a good impression of it.. Haha.. I guess the girl there will have to blacklist us soon.. Haha.. Keep on re-filling the glass of 'Kola Tonic', think till she 'pek chek'.. Haha.. Talked about the class that 3 of us were in back at primary and secondary schools.. Haha.. I could recall some of the primary school friends, but secondary school ones are still vivid in my mind.. Hmmm.. Its been a q...

Phew.. A tiring week just went passed... Didn't have much sleep during the week, especially coming to the end of it... Haha.. As usual, late night talks are just one of my many hobbies... Did guard duty as the Guard 3I/C on Tuesday night, while the others went out to Sakura International Buffet to celebrate Sgt Fabian leaving us, as well as MSG Cora's birthday.. Well, I guess its just my luck to miss it.. Nevertheless, I reported for duty not knowing what to do.. After the Guard Briefing, I was still unsure of what my role is... Lucky, the RPs there were quite helpful and they taught me how to perform my duties, except for one, who kept on picking on me as I was a novice.. In the end, I got fed up and went to scold him.. Haha.. Felt better after that... But being a Guard 3I/C is seriously mentally taxing and tiring.. Haha.. Especially during peak hours, where vehicular movements are much greater, I could hardly take a breather.. Was basically a dead corpse the next day.. Too ti...

Lonely Sunday. Stayed at home for most of the day, until Kang asked me out for a breather from his studies.. Went walking around Hougang, trying to prove to him how close Xinmin Secondary School was to my house. Went to his old house to see the tranquility he was missing since he moved... I guess it was really quite peaceful there... Went for dinner at a Kopitiam and of course, talked about lots of things again. Many friends out there admired Kang for his ever-adventurous and never-say-die spirit, and him trying to live his life to the fullest.. From backpacking, mountain-climbing, sailing, learning powerboats to joining choir and chasing girls, he has certainly tried all means to enjoy the life he longed for.. Rain. One word to describe the whole outing at Sentosa... It rained non-stop from late morning till I went back to mainland... What a waste; such a chance to get a good tan and enjoy yourselves.. Haha.. Nevertheless, there was a mini gathering instead.. Kind of surprised to see Wei Lung and Aloysius.. As they are also 2 of those that I haven't meet up for 3 years... That Ashley is late again, despite giving promises and all.. On top of that, he is supposed to bring culery and stuff, but wasn't around till 1430h... -.- Late till I got nothing to say.. But nevertheless, some of us really had a great talk with each other and I hope all of us enjoyed today... Woke up at 0600h, but went back to sleep till 0630h.. Hmmm.. Back at home once again from that tiring place.. Realised that the feeling of booking out now is different from booking out back then, be it in ATI or SISPEC... Somewhat I don't really look forward to going home.. Don't even feel like going home... Suddenly felt lost with a sense of emptiness creeping from within... Don't feel like doing anything for now... At least back in camp, I will be occupied by work and sometimes games... But I don't really have much things to do at home... Will be heading down to Sentosa tomorrow, with Alvyn and Gang.. Major changes in my life have happened since the 2 weeks break I took.. Hmmm.. I guess no point looking back now.. Should be looking forward to a new start.. Met up with long lost friends eg. Ashley (Self-acclaimed 10 years buddy but have not tried to contact me for 3 years =.=) Nevertheless, they try to bring me new opportunities in life with business proposals and insights on life itself. Glad to have these people with me still.. Somehow, meeting up with them and began to share past experiences made me reflect on a lot of things I have done so far for these 3 years.. Starting from the part that I left the Montfort Gang to NYJC, to the part I entered Tank Commander Course and passing out as an Tank Instructor... Sometimes, it's good to take some time out of your busy schedule and think back, whether anything meaningful or satisfying tasks have been done.. Stayed out till quite late with Kang yesterday night.. Talked abit.. Before that, met up with Ashley yet again to discuss his proposal.. In the morning, played soccer with the Brotherhood.. Haha..
