She is always with me!!
Above is a personal shrine I complete awhile ago and I just wanted to share. It reminds me of Mother's Day and I really don't know why. It measures 4 inches wide and 8 inches tall.
She was just 14 at the time of this photo! So grown up...so elegant. Hi mom!
This is a series of transfer prints on canvas..it so evokes the era for me. Elegant mom!!

What She Said....
"What She Said" is a small fiber collage that I completed some time ago. About May 2008.
I love this one.
I started with some buckram as a base and used felt and felt pieces as well as vintage cardstock; lots of embroidery and copper wire. The whole piece is surrounded by a floral edging with I think really pulls the piece together.
