Cupcake Inspiration Challenge - InStyle Stamps

InStyle Stamps are sponsoring The Cupcake Inspiration Challenge this week. The Challenge is open til Saturday, September 4th at 9 pm MT. so have a go pop over to the blog, here.
Now here is the card I made to support this challenge.
I used Cupcake Chloe which is available from InStyle Stamps as a digi image or as rubber. Isn't she sweet, and she has 3 cupcakes to share.
I created a very simple card, using Taken with Teal, from SU. I teamed tis with a strip of torn paper from Papermania, and some Bazzil Bling from my stash for the matting and layering.
I stamped a cupcake which I have had for a while. and added a little sentiment.
I stamped this SU sentiment and punched it out uisng the Tag Punches, also from SU. I then added some punched circles and a Pearl Brad and attached to the card, with so coloured string from my stash.
Now I thought that as it was me I needed to create something 3D so having bought a new die from Sizzix I have to make the Cupcake holder.
I kept it really simple and added some paper, and the image to the centre panels of the die, which is really easy to make.
As added detail I tied some coloured string and the edges, and some punched circles on the top edges.
I love this die it is really roomy, I can image a cupcake in this or even lots of sweet goodies.
I made the tag and tied it around the sello bag.
My Final collection.
So if you are interested get your self over to the Cupcake Challenge Blog and have a look over at InStyle Stamps too for some great inspiration and join in the fun.
Hope you like and have enjoyed looking
Take care

InStyle Stamps Monthly Blog Hop

Hello all, sorry I've not posted for a few days but have had very little inspiration and it would seem the Holiday mood is still here. But I have managed to do a few cards and projects which I'll show over the next few days.
Its Friday and its the last one for August which means its Blog Hop time at InStyle Stamps. If you have popped here first and want to hop through go back to here and begin.
However, you may have hopped here from the lovely Barbara.
Now here is my Project. The theme for this month is End of Summer. To me that means Autumn, shorter days and My Birthday!!!!!!!
For My project I have used Summer Tilly. I love this image it is so childlike, its really adorable, and is one of the recent releases from InStyle Stamps Digi Images
This first part of my project is a mini scrap book, something to keep those treasure memories and photos in.
I used some MME Papers, and teamed it with chocolate coloured flowers from Papermania, and some Prima Flowers, layers and attached using a Papermania Pearl Brad, and some swirls to add detail and interest.
I also rooted around in my stash and used a ribbon slider I have had for years!
Doesn't Tilly look sweet, skipping around the cover!
I then thought it would be nice to have a bag to keep the scrapbook in and maybe even some mementos of the summer. I used my own designer satchel, and covered it using the same MME Papers.

Cropping images seems to be the thing at the moment so I cropped Tilly and mounted be onto a scallop circle which was then attached to the front of the bag.

I then stamped, punched and inked some little letters to create a title for the project.

The flowers were created in the same way as the mini book, and attached to the front of the bag.
I then attached a ribbon for the handle, and used some velcro for the fastening!

Here is the final project.

I really hope you like it!! If you do make sure you vote over at the InStyle Stamps blog!!!!!

Also leave a comment and you could win a $25 goodie bag from InStyle Stamps.

Now continue Hopping along and see what the fabulous Patti has for you.

Take care and Enjoy

InStyle Stamps: Rainy Tilly

Hello everyone. First things first. Thanks for all the lovely comments you guys left me while I was a way. And I'm really pleased all my scheduled posts worked.
We had a great holiday, weather was great and spending time with family was entertaining to say the least, Emily and Cameron are growing up so quickly, they are developing into two very lovely and funny people!!!
I think I am about catching up on the washing but the ironing mountain is going to have to be conquered soon!!!
While I was away InStyle Stamps released some new and really adorable images.
I used this one called Raining Tilly and created a Rainy Day Kit.
Isn't she sweet! They are Digi Images, which I am really loving as you can size them however you like!

Here is a carried carton, to hold the contents, I'm really sorry I can't remember where I purchased the template from as soon as I find it I'll let you know cos it is great!
It has three sizeable compartments, and is really very sturdy.

I coloured Tilly using my promarkers, on Neenah cardstock. The Sentiment was printed on the computer too, and then I cut it out using a SU Circle punch and stamped around the edges, one of my fav techniques.

Here is the notebook - a very cheap one from Asda. I covered the front and layered another image of Tilly.

Again I printed out the sentiment, and used various circle layered up to add detail to the attachment.

I stamped a bubble image I recently purchased from Elzybells in Tempting Turquoise onto Tempting Turquoise cardstock - both from SU.
I also wrapped some matching thread I had in my stash.
I created my own little crayon box and in the same way as the notebook and carton, layer Tilly on the front.

Here is the whole collection, complete with chocolate!!!

Its a little bit late, but the rest of the Design Team created some gorgeous projects go and check them out, here. There are more posts with the other releases, make sure you have a look.

I hope you like. I am hoping to be caught up with things but its taking longer than expected as my back is playing up along with my hips, and although I have the medication to take the pain away it sends me to cloud cuckoo land so don't get anything done anyway!! Bare with me. There is an Instyle Blog Hop scheduled this Friday so stay tuned!

Take care and have a lovely day.

InStyle Stamps: Batty Chloe

I do love Halloween and this image from InStyle Stamps is so sweet. I love there images as they are simple to colour, however they also do some fantastic scenes which are to die for, check their site out, here.
I decided to use red for this card cos its my fav!!!! I have kept things pretty simple.

This sentiment is from an Elzybels set I have, the side is cut from a Cuttlebug die I have, and layered this embellishment up using various circles!

The Acetate is from Stampin' Up and this was attached with black brads. I then layered some Halloween critters around the edge to accompany Chloe on her Night Flight.

Hope you like.

Take care.

InStyle Stamps Blog Hop

Hi all, its the last Friday of the month, which means its Blog Hop time with InStyle Stamps. The them for this month is Christmas In July.

You should have come here from the lovely Angela.
Here is the Projects I have made. The Image is called RANDOLF and I think he is so cute!!!! and quick to colour. Ideal for all those school cards I have to make.
The actual image comes with a scalloped edge, but I decided to cute this away and use a nestie.
This is the topper I started with (actually I made two) and one of them I mounted onto a card front.
I have kept the card really simple, but I had to create more things. So being a digital image, you can resize all you like. So I played for a bit and created the cute mini pizza box...
...to hold some smaller gift tags.

I hope you like and I hope its given you a little bit of inspiration to start your Christmas Cards!!! DON'T FORGET TO VOTE FOR YOUR FAVOURITE!!!
Now you need to pop along to the gorgeous Angelique and see what she has to offer.
Have a lovely evening and make sure you pop by tomorrow I have an project inspired by the lovely Amy from All That Scraps

If Virginia were in my town on her birthday I would take her on a tour of Robin Hood Country. I live in the Heart of Sherwood Forest, there are a lot of places to visit, to really understand who Robin Hood was including The Major Oak where he was supposed to have lived. Its a tree which is reputed to be 800 Years Old. After that we would probably visit one of the many pubs in the area which serve fabulous food!
Since this is a Birthday Blog Hop, we can't leave you without a chance at a party prize!
So here are the rules.
1. Start at the beginning of the blog hop with the letter H.
2. Comment on each Design Team's blog because they need a little love and increase your chances at the party prize.
3. Go to PaperYumness and wish Virginia a Happy Birthday.
The deadline to win a digital image is Sunday, July 18th at 8:00pm Pacific Time.
That's all you need to do!
