for a teacher.........

Blimey how far behind am I with my sharing???????

Here I have used 2 Images from The Greeting Farm, the body of one and the head of another!! I like doing this you can really extend the use of stamps and they become limitless!!!!!

This was a gift and card for one of Cameron's teachers. I have used Stampin' Up's Star Punch and Various Circles, then finished them off with a threaded button. The sentiment is also Stampin' Up, along with label punches.

Here I threaded some thick ribbon through a bulldog clip - couldn't believe how expensive these are!!!!!!!!My favourite milk carton .......and the completed ensemble....... Hope you like

I have a sequence of posts planned around the milk carton die which will begin next month. I'm hoping to get a little more organised, it may mean only a few posts each week but hopefully they will be on regular days, I do find trying to post everyday while artwork very difficult!

Anyway If you have any ideas about how the milk carton can be used let me know.

Take care

AFA Sketch Challenge

I love sketches and this one for this weeks Anyone for Anya, is a fab one. Sketches really make cardmaking so much easier, all you have to think about is the colour combo and images!!!

Here is the sketch.....

Our sponsor this week is Sammi, with a single TGF Image!

I have used a CCDesign image from the new releases Laugh Lines - LAUGH, isn't she sweet!!

I have coloured her with a combination of Promarkers and Spectrum Noir

And here is my completed card.

I used some core'dinations with my sizzix 3D flower dies to create these lovely flowers...

I also used some new MME papers and a sentiment from Stampin' Up

And a bit of dimension!!

Hope you like, and why not have a go. Pop over to the Challenge Blog later today and check out the rest of the Team's inspiration.

Take care

I love CC Designs, and I have just bought some new goodies, which I am creating with at the moment, but I'll share those at a later date. Here is somethings I created a while ago, using a tutorial from Andrea Walford, through her PaperCraftersLibrary - I subscribed as opposed to buying magazines, as I have to say they are uninspiring recently!!!!!

Here I have use Sitting Brigitta, she is so sweet!!!

And I have created a teabag holder, not your bog standard Tetley bags, but those special wrapped ones!!

The flowers were all created using Stampin' Up Flower punches

And curled paper.....

The Colour Combo Is Elegant Eggplant

(I think-opps Thanks Jules)!!!!!

Anyway, I'll be back tomorrow

Take care

perfect..........

Isn't she lovely, This is a Molly Blooms Stamp I bought agaes ago, but have never got around to show. I had to buy it as Emily is a really cook extrordinaire!!!! and I just think this image looks like her when she's in the kitchen!!

I coloured the image and then needed to do something with it, so used her to create a luscious gift box which I can use for B'day or Christmas and put some cooking goodies in for Em! The box is a fabulous die from Sizzix which goes in the Pro!!!!

My fav (at the moment) flowers!

and an open shot.
I hope you like. I have lots to show and will get around to it all promise!!!

Take care

I'm back..........

...... although I'll be going off again for a couple of weeks soon for our annual holidays. But I want to come on a share a few things I have been very slack with lately, My DT Work.

Things have been very stressful at work and personally, so unfortunately Crafting has had to take a bit of a back seat, but hopefully with a break away from things I have started to get my head sorted.

I have made a few decisions which I may share over heh next few weeks depends how they pan out. The major one being about me and my health. I not the most active person and love food, but of late have started to be really dissatisfied with my energy levels, so I bought a bike and have started cycling, however that's on hold for a bit as I slipped a disc again at work and have been laid up for the last week, But once I'm back I'll hopefully be back to cycling each night!!

Anyway enough of my personal life, onto some cards.

I have really been naughty and not been promoting my DT duties lately and for that I apologise but hopefully I will organise myself better.

Here are a few cards I have been making for Anyone For Anya, there is a great Challenge this week NO PATTERNED PAPER though, what a challenge!!! Head over a check out the inspiration, there is also a fabulous prize from Tracy at Dies to Die for.

So no patterned paper, instead I went for really clean and simple.

I used a new stamp I bought from Dies to Die For, It from The Greeting Farm and she is called PIPER.

She has really got attitude. I coloured her with the New Pens I bought to cheer myself up The Spectrum Noir, they are fabulous!!!
Hope you like!!

I have to go now as my back is starting to hurt and need to stretch.

I need to sort out the wireless thingymabob so I can post from the settee!!

Have a good day and I'll be back tomorrow with some more very late DT bits and pieces

Thanks also to every ones thoughts and wishes, My friend is totally devastated, as you would be but I think to make matters worse there is no definitive reason why her daughter died, I think they may put it down to a Sudden Death, like Cot Death. She was 16 years and totally beautiful. The funeral was last week, hopefully they can start to build their lives back up, which I know from experience will take a lot of time and a lot of pain.

Regards Sarah B X
