Urban Air

Sydney was invited to a birthday party and the mom mentioned the whole family was invited as well. I double checked with her- the whole family? Sydney has three sisters and that seems like a lot of people to crash a little girl's birthday party- especially when they were paying for all of us to get in. She insisted and after a lot of back and forth, Brent and I decided the girls were in desperate need of something, anything, to get out of the house for once. We've been so careful in this pandemic, but we were trying to keep an eye on mental health as well and the girls were climbing the walls.

Urban Air was kind of the perfect place for them to go because there were so many things to keep them active. The oldest three loved the Sky Rider. Aside from flying through the air with the greatest of ease, they got a good overview of the whole place from that vantage point.

Ropes Course- Liesel spent a while on this.

She kept checking to see if I was watching and taking photos.

Climbing Wall- Brigitta didn't even tell me she was trying this out. I walked around the corner and there she was!

The instructor told me she'd never seen someone that small go all the way to the top.

I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have made it to the top! There she is, acting like it's nothing.

Stairway to Heaven- I told Ireland I thought she could go up just one more step and she cried that she couldn't and I said that she could and she insisted she couldn't and I said I knew she could do it and she asked if I was taking a video. Then she made it up that next stair and thank heavens I have the video to prove it!

For whatever reason, Liesel walked right up those things like it was nothing.

Love her little foot pop at the top.
Again, we have been so careful since lockdown and believe me, we were swimming in sanitizer while we were there, but it was so good for the girls to get out and have some good, old fashioned FUN! We barely saw Sydney because she was off with her little friends and for a moment, it felt like we could breathe again (albeit behind a mask-ha! I'm so glad we decided to go, we really needed it.
