Liesel's Last Day of School

The day I've been dreading finally arrived- the end of the school year. Not just because having Liesel at school reduces my load at home, but because she loved it so very much. Her teacher Mrs. Wilson was fantastic. I don't think I've ever met a more dedicated teacher. We emailed back and forth all year long and sometimes she would answer at 11pm on a Sunday. I've always been worried that Liesel would kind of fly under the radar at school because she's bright, well-behaved and doesn't really require any extra attention. Mrs. Wilson made it clear that Liesel was just as important to her as any other kid in her class. No wonder Liesel cried when they said goodbye for the final time.

For Liesel's end-of-the-year treat, we went to Molly's Cupcakes (a winner of the show Cupcake Wars). The girls can't get enough of the swings at the counter and well, neither can I.
It's time to put the backpacks away and pull out the swimsuits. I still don't feel quite ready for summer to be in full swing but I guess it's sink or swim. I'm sure we'll do a little of both ;)
