Post V-day fantasy

My man thinks that red rose are nice, very symbolic love. So most of the time when he get me roses, it will be red, a stalk or a bouquet.

But he wont know I love white... white roses... last time white, because of it's pure & innocent, now white because of the state of my mind...

I know many will jump at me, for not appreciative... expecting too much... pessimistic... but this is just the state of my mind now...

Nevertheless I'll still like the red roses or whatever flowers he gave me. I am still very thankful, happy for all that he can do for me... and yes, I shall bestow him with kudos.

But he dont visit my site... no worries as the public has bestow him more glory...

My fil saw that bouquet of roses yesterday...
all the ladies in my office gave me their envious eyes...
set some guys in my office thinking, I am such a blessful woman, the hubby is so lovely...
some start soul searching, should I get my wifey one tonight?
some are cynic, must be doing some guilt...

p/s: can somebody tell me how to remove the frame on the pix I have posted, huh?

Hubby sent a bouquet of red roses to my office. For 10 years, this is the 2nd time... hee... anyway thank you Hubby, you did make my day, I was really surprised.

Looks like I have to write about 5 blogsite I like most.
But I like most of them.
So maybe I will write briefly on those I have been reading regularly, in an non-ranking order : )

Every little wonder, Huileng , Ivy baby talk and Mr brown were my first lot of regular site when I just started blogging around year 2005.

I like every little wonder style and have sediment feeling as she's actually my senior, we were from the same primary school. Her written english is very good. Hope to acquire the skill from her.

Huileng was the first site I stumble onto. Or I should say inspired me to starts my wtpg weblog. She can always describe thing so appropriately. I like the way she use words... and her yau yau... so cute, almost same age as my girls. Envy her also, can do what hers interest is, calligraphy... I like calligraphy too... I think we are neighbour too... :p

Ivy is a dynamic lady. She has a boy, about same age as mine too. We have a common interest, that is indulge in the accompany of our children.

Mr brown, the thorn among the roses! kekeke... But many people know him. He came in 2nd position in some "blog competion". I think he's a very talented person and I like his humour.

Then little foot step walk into my site and a crazy SAHM came by, brighten up my site & lighted up my life. More mommies sharing my journey to motherhood and more cutie children around. Tien, Eu & Nikita. I especially like Nikita! She is such a bright & cute girl. I almost mistaken crazymommy is an japanese, cos Nikita look like one...kekeke but she's indeed a very hardworking mother, doing many crafts and innovative teaching with Nikita.

Life in a petri dish and My casserole are two bombastic women, one is an author the latter gather and write on-line, articles concerning woman, Viva woman, a must read blog for woman who wants to feel beautiful, inside out. Even a must check on her casserole, you sure find something that interest you, or if you are a die-hard Takuya fans! kekeke...

1+2 mom is a happy family. She has a twins daughter like mine :)

Earth Ember, Ange is a full-time mother of 3 children + 1 infant. This is a beautiful family. All the members are like model or actor & actress. Ange write & draw very well too! I love her illos and those picture she made from digital pen. Another talent....

Ashes, a young pretty lady, though haven join the motherhood club, but has a fine hand made for jewerely. Check out her Krystallions, sure to find your "gem" at an affordable price. Yah, she's a fan of RAIN too. Want pic of Rain recent concert? Check out her Rain's world.

After rain, you'll see rainbow and Jan has a pair of lovely rays.

Last but not least is Dorothy, gained pretty good publicity after last wednesday show on Channel 8, career blueprint. Former was a corporate rat, now full-time fashion design entrepreneur and owner of Dotted Line

Pineapple tart

Dong dong dong chan! Dong dong don chan! CNY is coming!!

Have been very busy with the house chores, have not start spring cleaning yet... But still, I must make my favourite New Year pastry, PINEAPPLE TART !

Im not very particular with the pineapple filling, as long as it's not too sweet. But I am very choosy with the pastry. Be it 金枕头 or 富贵花开, I like it very buttery & flaky so when you dump it into your mouth, it'll just.... Mmm... melt away... and not too sweet so you wont feel disgusted even indulge with many helping.

But after running in & out so many bakery shop, I just couldnt find one bakery that bake to my liking, so sad : (

Just when I feel so deprive, my fren came asking me interested to make pineapple tart...

Huh? Make my OWN PINEAPPLE TART??!

"Yah lar! I have all the material. You just need to 搓，能搓多少，就拿多少! "

Wow why not? and I always like baking... and I never regret spending whole afternoon kneading but just made 1 jar of tart...

While baking, the rich buttery smell already make my heart melt. The moment the timer went buzz... I cant wait to bite the still piping hot pastry and... Mmm... yummlicious! I finally found my tart tart! I was jumping with joy! Heh heh heh!

wtpg: " Mommy what's this? "

wtpg's mum: " Pineapple tart!"

wtpg: " Mommy I like pineapple tart!"

wtpg's mum: " Sure... I'll give u tomorrow... it's late now.... "

wtpg: " This is pineapple tart... not apple, not tart, is pineapple tart... ... ... "

" No no... petit people made petit things... 没有口感 ! " my fren complaint about my little 富贵花开.

Pastry

100g QBB PURE GHEE

100g BUTTER

25g ICING SUGAR

2 EGG YOLKS

1/2 tsp SALT

350g PLAIN FLOUR

See what I mean?! This morning is Clarabelle's turns having diarrhoea... but that little girl felt so blessful... "Mommy, Clarabelle can take the diarrheoa medicine huh? Clarabelle got diarrheoa... "

Anyway I still let her go to school, as she has no fever... hopefully after the last watery poo-poo at home, her stomache will be cleared.

"mommy, is pass motion..." " Oh.. you've learned the word, pass motion... who taught u that?" " 张老师 say poo-poo is pass motion..."

SS, I still have part 2. I have not finish yet :p They are not as good as you thought, that why I say " Generally, I would consider them adapting well..." but there are certain area where they are still struggling...

The teacher had relate to us that most of the time my two girls, esp Abella couldnt enjoy siesta. Everytime they will want the teacher to hold their hands or pat them to nap. Then when they have dose off and the teacher walk off, they are very sensitive, wake up immediately and refuse to let go the teacher. So Abella rather dont sleep. Most probably by then siesta time is over. No wonder they are always so tire & sleepy when we fetch them.

I was thinking most probably they feel very daunting to sleep with unfamiliar people. Thought they may have known some of them but afterall, for 33 months, they only sleep with daddy, mummy, ma ma & the most ah yi only.

So I thought maybe let them bring a toy from home, who they will feel secured then.

Girls, this afternoon you have elephant accompany. So dont worry and take a good nap huh? :) If you nap well, this evening not tire-sleepy-cranky, mommy will bring you to plaza, k ;) Promised :)

Beside the siesta case, every morning they will sure wake up crying, asking me today going to school? Then when I tell them yes, they will start whining... till the daddy come and warn them in a very stern voice, "Happy or not, you have to go to school! You want to choose happily go to school, afterwork daddy mummy will come n fetch you or you want to continue crying, making yourself tire, daddy mummy angry but still need to go to school...."

Sometimes, they are very sensible, stop whinning immediately, happily get themself ready for school... but when time they are not... *sigh*

Beside crying in the morning, in the middle of the night, they will wake up crying then climb onto our bed, one squeezing my left the other the right, sandwiched me in between. It was so squeezy! I went to sleep on their mattress instead but immediately they sense my absense, whine and next moment squeeze with me again. I have no choice but to suit them then as I donwan them to irritate the daddy then starts another rounds of lecturing... Im not objecting the daddy's disciplinary but I dont wish to be at that late hour...

I not sure Im doing this right but definately they are taking advantage of me. Even my mum say that. She say when I not home yet, they were very well behave, finish dinner, playing themself. But when I come back, they'll wreck havoc, want me carry, complained to me about each other, starts pushing each other... -_-

The daddy say that too... In fact for the passed morning, he has been droping me at the bus stop then send the children to school himself. In the evening, pick them up, mix milk for them & give them snack then fetch me... everything was smooth sailing till they reach my office... they two will start to snatch for me and create a chaotic in the car... -_-

Then there was a day, after so long I didnt pick them up from school, I decided to finish work early and pick them up. They were jumping with joy to see me in school. But the daddy say I came to wreck havoc. They use to carry their own bag, change their own shoe and walk on their own. But now, we have to change their shoe, carry their bag and carry them! He gave me a "sp" mother look... *eyes rolling*
