Gooood lunch today! Just Feli and I, and we spent lunchbreak like this: more than an hour in F21 swopping pretty dresses, 5 mins at Breadtalk for buns, then a mad dash to catch the bus back into Sentosa. Adrenaline rushhh, no sleepyness back in the office after that! And this was so beneficial; shopping + money-saving + diet opportunities !!

Who am I kidding la hahahahaha
well, we all need to survive on self-happiness sometimes, yes?

So Everyone! visit adelinejamie@livejournal for Abercrombie delights! (:

Whilst we're here, we might as well dance.

Long weekend, wooot! :D

Terminal 3 peek with Jared and Claire today, oh-so-funkadelic! Its huuuuge and futuristic and green and it rocks. I'm sure its gonna kick so many other-international-airports' butts man, go Singapore!

ah okie. So session was combined with the other youthgroups today, fun fun. (: we had a super ice-breaking game and it was pretty refreshing to mix with the others, who seemingly are just as crazy as we are I guess! lol

Sigh. I don't wanna end internship and go back to school man. :(
Work's bound to be more happening than the coming semester with 3 hours of accounting, bo-liao 2 hour school days, and not 1 englishy subject.
:( :( :(

Oh can we fast forward to my favouritest time of the year, please please please!
All I want for Christmas is a perfect Christmas.

GAY!

"NEW YORK - British author J.K. Rowling stunned her fans at Carnegie Hall last Friday night, when she revealed that master wizard Albus Dumbledore in her wildly successful Harry Potter series was gay.

... She also said that he had been in love with rival wizard Gellert Grindelwald, whom he had defeated years ago in a bitter fight.

'You cannot imagine how his ideas caught me, Harry, inflamed me,' Dumbledore said in Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows, the seventh and final book in Rowling's record-breaking fantasy series.

... (excerpt) His aunt, Bathilda Bagshot, said of their meeting: 'The boys took to each other at once.'

-

OhMySaints. My childhood memories of this lovely book are quite tarnished now, seriously. Why him, the good kind wise old man, whyyyyy?!!

'Jo Rowling calling any Harry Potter character gay would make wonderful strides in tolerance towards homosexuality.' - from the-leaky-cauldron.org. What a time for this absurd part of the story to come out, what with Oct11 having been international coming-out day, and us having the repeal377A thing going on here. sigh! Warped coincident, I guess. What a gay month!

-

I want to thank Uncle Lim for my internship job now, of which I would not have if not for his setup of the Genting Intl company. Thank you sir, you've been a great man.

Chicken Pie

To hugely contradict my last post,

I'd like to declare myself on a new LONG TERM SAVINGS plan!
that is, saving for the seems-far-but-not-so-very-far-in-fact future. It really is, not very far away. Feli says I should just tell myself to shop wisely now, cos getting off shopping entirely will be too way too ambitious. Yep, so henceforth I shall slowly try that.

But a vintage bag, 2 dresses for the upcoming festive months, and maybe the skinnies and the camera and that sexy new red phone probably still stay on the list. Hahaha! ayyyeee I should probably just starve myself from now if I hope to have a bright future at all lah.

Tip of the day: Respect is earned. Hard-earned.

NEEDS AND WANTS

I'm stuck in this sudden vortex called I-NEED-TO-F-GET-NEW-THINGS, after being totally out of it for a pretty long period of time (ie. with no real nor virtual shopping activities). That was Very Weird. This vortex thingaling now, though, is somewhat Unhealthy.. hmm aside from the recently-found fact that shopping can help prevent dementia. Hooray for when I get old and wrinkly then! I hope the government provides something like CPF when I get of that age, but instead its a funny fund for people to shop and shop and pull themselves out of dementia and all that. We'll definitely have a healthy-minded nation of oldies, yes? HEH :D

ASOS.com stuff I checked out after hearing Jamie mention about the cheap vintage bags.. ZOMGGGG!

I want a new bag! Items 2 (SEXY silk!) and 3 (the woven roses just won me over!) are from Ted Baker.. meaning, the shop's on our sunny island! and maybe, just maybe, they'll stock these sexies too. ooo, mehehe. ((:

And lunch at Vivo makes things so unhealthily-convenient for me. Finish lunch, pop in F21, see something(s) nice, pop out F21 with it, and back to work! So convenient for spending, no? Sara, Feli and I did that today. Hahaha. Paycheck please come soon!!!

I've got alot of cool pics recently but sorry, tired me is lazy nowww.

Facebook facebook facebook pwns! I realize a titanic lot of people cyberloaf on it man, damn sneaky. Totally pwns la! POKE!

I needa catch up on my damn logbook entries refections thing this weekend la. siannnzxz

I feel like making a whole list of random lists for all sorts of random reasons.

Mom&Dad's anniversary tomorrow, happy 23rd! (: We're going to vivo for dinner, like I've not been there enough the rest of the week already. It's becoming like my "daily hangout" I swear. haha ew, mall junkie me.

& I had a sexy time tonight, WOOOT!

Hello, weekend!

this entry is quite brokeback, please pardon me :D

mmmm

I remember the times we spent together
on those drives
We had a million questions
all about our lives
and when we got to New York
everything felt right
I wish you were here with me
tonight

I remember the days we spent together
were not enough
and it used to feel like dreamin'
except we always woke up
Never thought not having you
here now would hurt so much

Tonight I've fallen and I can't get up
I need your loving hands to come and pick me up
And every night I miss you
I can just look up
and know the stars are
holdin' you, holdin' you, holdin' you tonight

QUICKIE (edited!)

I had superb Crystal Jade dinner last night, and a whole day at the Science Centre today.
Greaaaaattt weekend baby! :D

EXCURSION!

we're goin on an ex-cur-sion!
how bout you you you?!

hahahaha. we had FUN, Jared and I! Remember how as small pri school kids we used to bring tidbits to eat and share on the bus and all? We packed our own sandwiches and biscuits there hokay! Mehehe!

in my kitchen with him making our fooood :]

from the inside of a hugeass kaleidoscope!

we popped out to the IMAX OmniTheatre to catch this show..

..and it was amazing. it's partly about how the environment's destroying the wetlands that surround New Orleans, putting the citizens there in more danger during floods. and it's partly about Hurricane Katrina too, how it came so suddenly and destroyed the country and disrupted life for the people so bad.
Hmm.

That day, I learnt that Hurrican, Typhoon, and Cyclones are the same thing.
Just from different regions of the world. Cooool (:

Back in to the science centre

my favourite section was the one about the human body!
always loved biology, heehee

:O

me on a gigantic tongue. slurrrrp

afterwards, we sat outside watching lil kids playing in the fountain. hahaha, really brought a smile to my face, watching those innocent lil kiddos splashing & playing around.

YAY!

Theory of Worklife #35

Working in an office will make you grow damn F-A-T.

Lets examine a typical work day:

Begin the day with coffee, must-have for non-morning people.
Before lunch hunger-pangs act up, so nibble something light.
Continue to work.
Sit down whole morning, 12pm leave for lunch.
Eat your tummy to the brim.
Back to office, sit down to do work again.
To prevent after-lunch doze offs, bo pian, eat to keep awake.
Teatime, snack a little if hungry.
Off work finally, time for dinner.

You seeee?!!!

EAT, SIT, WORK, REPEAT
there you have it folks, your ultimate weight-gain regime!

( and if you were like me, you'd have like a yummy tub of Ben & Jerry's sitting in the freezer, just tempting you & saying, "Girl, you've been eating the whole day already, what difference will I make! EAT. ME." Pssshhh, annoying manz. )
