We got Kris this, and his name is Mikey!

He's from the Build-a-bear workshop, at vivo.
The Steps!
1. Choose a cute bear
2. Stuff it (less cotton for a softer bear!)
3. Take little heart shaped thingys, rub to "warm the heart", give it a lil kiss and make a wish
4. Insert heart into bear, sew him up!
5. A 'shower' next, bathe clean clean
6. Dressup time! Shoes, Avaitors, Hats, Outfits, Bags.. whatever! Very very cool :D
7. Lastly, name the bear and get its birth cert

Reaaaally cool la. I think this makes sucha meaningful gift (esp with step #3). lol, we all adore Mikey now!


Saturday:

ICA building visit once again, needed to collect my new passport. ZOMG IT IS A MADHOUSE THERE! early saturday morn (8am can!) and there was already an effing long queue snaking around the building, everyone just waiting to get in only. EVERYWHERE there its jus queues & queues & queues. thank god everything took just 2 hours that day..

after that was a visit to Thomson medical centre, for I've got a new niece!!! My first niece! She's sucha tiny bundle and she's so so cuuute and smallie mollie, ahhhhh! :)) (her dad/my cousin is someone i don't rmb meeting before. lol. We meet someone new every day yes!)

& Grandma's birthday dinner at Pow Sing, with all her fav dishes. Cute grandma, hehe. She's 85!



Sunday:

YV came over early this morn. Session was at my place, and then we had a birthday surprise for the September peeps!

Our schedules now are insanely head-on clashing so its simply lovely to get time and a whole weekend with him. Its blisssss! ♥

Work so far's been alright.. We had a celebration for Mooncake Festival on Monday, and 4 of us had to come up with a recycled-material lantern for the dept. Crazy please! we spent ages doing it and actually I think it was pretty great effort cos I really liked the innovation. argh cept that other departments were faaarrr better la. Ahwell! Mooncakes were yummm. So all's pretty fine most days; we try new places for lunch, attend meetings (sometimes boring), work's quite manageable, quite an eye-opener too. Yup. Wow its been 3 weeks.

This is office.

This week, my knowledge of dolphins has considerably increased by leaps and bounds. And today I also got plenty of ideas for making lanterns out of recycled material. Research, my friends, opens this information flow for you! Oh, and it also drives you a bit insane. Teeny weeny bit. Beware, beware.

End-of-day exhaustion that hits the entire body at about 6.30pm everyday is a killer. Work's cool, but it's srsly no joke at allll.

Tuesday:

Starbucks & Hairspray with Kris and Leanna. Haven't met up with those two since idontknowwhen! (: Oh and I received my Rainbow Fredflare necklace too. Wah you don't know how long I've longed for this kute piece! Heh

Friday:

Met up with Jamie to get our nails done at Klearcut, and I got my hair trimmed there too, really neat place! Super coincidental, I was just about to paint my nails tt day when that dear woman messaged and asked if I wanted to accompany her with the manicure. lol vehhh nice, i like i like! :D

Sunday:

On Sunday Jared brought me for a mini A-Capella concert. Man its really been long since I attended any of these vocal/band performances, miss it! Just hearing the group that night sing their lovely repertoire of songs gave me the feeling of Christmas. mmmm. Its in the air early this year, it is! ; hahah jared keeps saying that he "smells xmas in the air". (: Anyway the concert was so so worth every penny, and after that we headed to nearby Chijmes for a good dinner, at the much raved about Hog's Breath Cafe!

Monday:

To school I went for SIP launch. 7:45am at Harbourfront on Wed, breakfast then Orientation. Okay.

& we haven't met up in so so long, so finally! A YearOne class clique gathering!


went to town for Pepper Lunch and good shopping!
lunch and shopping, just like de good ol days before. sigh! :)

& then Mom took me for MORE shopping, and we walked all over Vivo til the shops closed its doors.. oh madness! But gooody, workclothes and some makeup for starters. Anything more, and vivo'll only be a stone's throw away from the office! MEHEHE. This was probably the longest and most fruitful shopping day I've had in months, PRAISE GOD FOR THAT!


So I'm quite looking forward to tomorrow now. Wish me luck!

KAY, I FINALLY WENT TO SENTOSA TODAY.. WITH YV!

& even though I'm gonna head there every single weekday for the next 3 months, today was just a day to plain enjoy the sun, enjoy the friends, and lovveee the islandlife! :))

Basically, I went to the beach.. only to spend most of the day in a pool! HAHA. :D we were at the darn cool Cafe del Mar! mmm the tanning beds there are so comfy lovely, and oh I just love the pool by the bar! in the cool waters we sat and laughed and played games and got ourselves bledy burntttt.

see Mark with his Carlsberg under the coconut trees (which ain't really showin, hmm). today there was Sex on the beach, Singapore Sling, and all kinds of cocktails and mocktails that everyone was jus ordering because the bar was so convenient! hahah. yeahh the atmosphere there has that kinda effect on us man. Lovely lovely place lah! :)

Okay, finally an entire Jared-day spent since foreverrr. Just the two of us!

macs breakfast for the sicky first, he napped all noon. then at night a trip to Vivo for dinner, window shopping, boardwalk hangout and Ratoutille! which was ABSO-KUTE! :DDD oh & dinner was so tummysatisfying too, love their set meals. I came home in the comforts of a big private bus with my very own driver after; kudos to SBS transit. mehehe! (:
