chinese new year shopping today!
whooopee.
seriously, it was major sian-ness but lol things kinda turned out interestingly enough.
so hmms.
i went to far east flora with mommy
the air there smelt of nice sweet smelling flowers, and..
the B.O. of those old fat bad-tempered aunties and ahmas.
hahaha! well something like that anyway. UGH :/
got the pink deco flowers my mom was lookin for,
and then i found a corner to sit with all her barang barang while she went to hunt for more plants.
okay so picture this now.
im sitting in a corner of this huge florist warehouse,
pink flowers in a trolley, a pot of white flowers on my lap.
when SUDDENLY !
a crowd of that bad smelling aunties and ahmas and whoever have we,
gather around me and start ooh-ing and aah-ing at my mom's flowers
comment to each other on how "zhe xie hen mei hor"
pick through the bunch lying in my trolley
finger here finger there
and actually planned on walking away with the bunch without a care of asking me!
like HELLO! am i invisible or are you blind ?!
hahahahaha.
really i felt like those mannequins they put in shop windows
sitting next to a bunch of flowers on sale.
this damn far east flora place is so bloody huge and they jus had to gather their stinkin bodies around me and pick my mom's flowers.
geez!
anyway. that was just one incident.
another one involved some male chauvinist pigs and them gathering to watch as my mom and i strugged to chop off the ends of the huge pussy willow to shorten it.
i wont elaborate further, but seriously, what's become of gentlemen these days?!?
you had to be there to know what i felt la. but gawd! so idiotic ok. lol

oh but i did manage to get my hands on a $50 mango voucher!!

im in the office now, and everyone is out at lunch, so frankly speaking, i have nothing to do. or nothing that has been assigned for me to do. is this the life or what? getting paid to babysit the office, with complete access to the net and phone. like, YAYYS! :D
lol. it works kinda funny here la. if i dont ask for work, i get no work! hahaha. so ah wells.
a month from now, on this very day, i'll probably be sitting at home, puzzling and making a big decision of my life. because i heard the results are gonna be released on the 25th of feb. -faints- i keep wondering what to do if i dont get into jc, which poly course i should do, and if i do get in, which school i shld go to, what combi should i take, what cca should i choose, yada yada yada.
and the list goes on.
SIGH.
is life full of complications or what.
yawns. im gettin shit bored. this babysittin-office thing aint quite fun..
i miss manymanymany people. i dont miss sooo many people so often ok, even i know it. i want the old times to come back!! in school you get to see and meet and talk and joke with everyone, but now even thats so rare. anisha said yesterday that we've become from people to do every type of rubbish everyday, to people who rot their asses off every fakking day. boy what a change. hahaha.

there aint much fer me to blog about today.
but, heck la i've nuthin better to do, so yeaaahh.
lemme see. today i discovered that :
a) coming home during lunch hour saves me some money, allows me to have a good meal and lets me get about a half hour's worth of sleep before i walk back to office. COOL YES ! :D
b) i like doing recording and filing of the tax invoices. it makes me look frantically busy, when actually, im having quite a blast sitting under the aircon, relaxing in my comfy chair, and not straining my brain at all. it beats doing store work by alott.
c) i've earned SIXTY BUCKAROOS already. that's damn good please. mmm picturing pay day now. new handphone(or denim jacket. or nice clothes. or whatever im yearning for.), here i come!! :))
d) it is sucha joy not to be in school at this time of the year. i hear my poor sister begging the neighbours to buy her catholic welfare tickets. for once in ten years, that is something i gladly wont have to do.
im looking forward to febuary. chinese new year, valentines day, a number of birthdays, and results. im quite dying to know where my second home for the next few years or so will be.
and im seriously dying fer this looong holiday of mine to end as well.

chinese new year baking today!
hoho i tell you the smells coming from the kitchen now are soooo soooo good!
yesterday's first day at work was quite okay.
though the first hour was like, shaggadelic doing the stock stuff and all.
yeah but the rest of the day i was sittin in the air con office writing chinese new year cards, addressing envelopes, and doing filing and all.
still. it was tiring. mentally tired i suppose
but i have no idea why.

just got back from my interview thingaling at the 77th street main office.
gee i never knew it was so near my hse.
hahaha its a funky dunky office they've got there okay!
lets see. the walls are lime green and purple, the doors and seperating panels are waaay cool with nice bright acrylic designs, and they've got a pool table and a pinball machine in there! :D
lol. but leanna says no one ever plays with them. ah wells
still. so funkadelic right?! i've neva seen sucha nice place to work in.

went to help out at the sec 1 camp yesterday with anisha.
we're not instructors anymore,

lunched at gardens before we cabbed down to school

because of our black polo camp shirts.

well anyway, we walked in and the cohort was having lunch
and suddenly,
they ALL stood and greeted anisha and i.
hurhur. like whoa. its quite shocking, but nice. hehheh.
camp's super slack compared to last year's.
no punishment fer campers. not much yelling and shelling from instructors.
almost anything also can do kinda thing.
WHERE'S THE KICK IN BEING INSTRUCTOR ?!
hahaha its the yelling that's fun what.
naw kidding. but i found it a teensy bit wierd la.
manned the TBG sushi belt station with anisha.
funneh. i never remembered us taking like
four minutes plus to complete the whole game. did we??
it went along rather slowly ystd. hmms.
then i had fakking bad cramps (what bad timing)
so i went to the canteen to sit sit talk talk with the free people
hahaha twas fun catching up again.

yesterday was a super special day !!

spent the day in sentosa with jared
hell loadd of fun please!
sentosa's changed so damn much now, i figure its gonna really look like an island resort soon. went to those normal places there; cinemania, underwater world (which i have an undescribable love for!) yada yada. i like the billabong retail outlet in sentosa! its so decorated. lol.. bought jared his billabong tshirt, but sadly i couldnt find the cap i liked. well anyway, we walked the whole stretch from siloso beach to palawan, and i realised there're quite cool shops along the way now. and tonnes of good food! sakae sushi by the shore, for one. hahaha how cool is that!
walked all the way til the southern most point of asia continent
ya know that little island thingaling
yeah and my feet ached like hell
so we jus sat on the roof of that tall terrace there
and basked and snapped pics and talked and talked
nicenice! :D
amazingly enough, it didnt rain at sentosa all day (i know it poured fer awhile on mainland singapore). hahaha yes and that's cos God was on my side! x)
left in the evening
and came back to jared's house
so i could help him finish his eng homework
and then he walked me home.
thus ending my most special-est day of this year ! :D

can i know something. has the ministry of education suddenly increased the workload in all schools and as such everyone is waaay too busy to blog? either that or..did your computers all crash simultaneously?? it seems to me that almost every blog belonging to a schooling student is STALE and ROTTING. i realise this because i now have all the time in this damned world to blog surf. so yeah..update your cobweb-growin blogs fer my sake alright, thank you very much :D

my life now is TERRIBLY monotonous.
SIGH .
okay but i'll try to look on the bright side of life. here's the good side of not going fer first three months and not being able to confirm my job yet:
# i get to sleep real real late
# i get to wake real real late
# i can hog the computer the whole day
# i get to watch shows i neva get to see before cos i've always been in school
# my brain is generally un-stressed most of the day
# i find a hell load of time to pack every single part of my messy house
# i get to do plenty of things i really like
still, i do think i've seen better days. roarrr. im very very confused these days. i need tonnes of questions answered as soon as possible, and i need to make up my mind quite soon too. eeyerr i reaaally hate quick decisions ok. WHY IS LIFE SO COMPLICATED ?! :/
i didnt do anything mentionable yesterday, except perhaps finishing my new book. but today i went out to meet mel at heartland mall. oh and on the way i saw alot of people in the distinctive ij uniform, from sjc and from elsewhere too. and suddenly i felt like wearing my uniform sooo much! dang i miss it.
i know you all think its psycho la. like so many sjc people hate wearing our uniform. but i actually like it i guess. i mean, no offense to any school ok, but can you imagine wearing skirts or blouses with funny cuttings, horrendous colours like lavender or (ugh) stripped yellow or neon blue, with huge gawdy yucky school badges??
OKAYY. i have no idea why im talking uniforms here. this is stark madness. -shakes head
well yes. so i met mel, and we bought yummy snow ice and sat down to talk abt her "life so far". which translated would mean new cute guys and her new school and her new interesting hilarious experiences and.. yeah guys mainly. HAHAHA! i miss this kind of talk we always had. damn funny yea :)) had kfc fer dinner and home sweet home.

FIRST POST OF THE YEARRR !!
haha i wonder what new surprises this year will bring. i hope its good whatever the case :)
went shopping on the last day of 2004! with my siblings and mommy. now thats a good thing, cos then i dont hafta PAY! :D hehehe. well we wenta watch kungfu hustle. omg its an effing hilarious and retarded show la !! those type purely fer amusement and entertainment ya noe. lol.. then i got three new pairs of charles and keith slippers! :)) and 20 bucks worth of earrings too. hahaha thats ending the year on a superb note awrite !
didnt do anything much this year to usher in 2005. i didnt even realise it was the new year cos no one did any countdown. it was oddly quiet. quite wierd :/
today. hmms went to plaza sing with jared. we caught meet the fockers! everyone with legal NC16 rights SHOULD catch it !!! wahahaha because its damn damn damn funny please. and quite sick too okay. lol. ate at my fav swensens, before we went down to j8 to buy some really neat stuff for us both! *mwahhh
