This is a public service announcement

Reasons why WordPress rocks more:

1. I get to keep some entries under password so kay-poh eyes won't reach em
2. I get to host photos on WordPress itself, unlike Livejournal
3. Nice set styles for me to choose from and change as often as I like, wheee
4. Pretty user-friendly
5. Integrated comment system, no outside hosting needed

Simply, methinks its the best of both (Blogger & LJ) worlds! :D

& having been bored enough to do that analysis, I'm now moving over there. Hehheh, yep. Goodbye worldofmine, its been a good 4 years or so, and 501 posts here. You've served me well. *looks around in nostalgia*

Hokay, meet me there. You-should-know-where there.
If you don't then.. OMGyousuckzorrs!

temasek's me

OKAY! So it's finally time to do some updates bout school. Here's what it's been like the last few couple of weeks.

Project-work filled Sundays, working & working with The Group..

.. and another Sunday, at Gab's house rushing the Entre project ..

.. and YET another Sunday spent together! just after 3 days of CNY and we were over at Elena's for a mad dash of the Intl Business project.

just notice the time on the clocks below man..

hahah. we worked..

and worked..

.. and worked ourselves silly!

and that was our final project EVER. together. in tp. which we handed up at an amazing record-breaking hour man, woohooo you wouldn't even believe it. :/ hahaha

Yep and to end things off before study break, took my Napfa test early on a saturday morning with Feli and Stef and Kris. Run at the reservoir, all those situps, pullups.. rahhh, managed a bronze! Having not trained fer this AT ALL, I hafta say I'm quite wowed at myself, and with the girls too! Go us! :D

and then on Monday and Tuesday it was accounting and law exams, fingers crossed for some justifiable results at least, and.. yea.

-

So, thats it!

The end of 3 years.
(unless I go back for supp papers and still fail those but choy choy choy)

3 years of Business studies.
3 years of great friends and gossip, of Mensa and Biz Park and Cheers, of projects tutors unfinished tutorial homework and long lectures.
3 years of change, of decisions, of new dreams & realizations, of quite alot of growing up.

3 whole years.

Haha I actually can't believe its really come to a close. It HONESTLY really still seems as if it were just yesterday that I first saw the lovely TP campus and told myself I HAVE to study here, that I went for that CMM interview and didn't get in, and got into Business instead, that I crazily went for freshman orientation, that I met my first classmates and everything began..

Some memorable times? One would be the first semester, first few weeks with the new class. Gosh if you look back at my 2005 archives you'll see 'B20 rocks!' and 'i love my class!' repeated so so often. Haha, those reaaally were great times in year one; funny shit from Gerald Naysh and Eugene combined, russell peters craze, the webber nonsense (not that tt was good or anything, just funny), angel/mortal and all that. Oh, there'd be getting that A for business stats too, haha! totally scored on a numbers subject, for once in my life. :D Also, all that reading of Sandra Brown in the library (kudos to Feli for starting me on her books haha). All that shopping craze and online spree-ing for the last 3 years with the girls! haha much much thanks to Stef this time for starting it all back then. zomg, with the ton of shopping I've done in Poly, the amount is probably enough to feed half of Zimbabwe or smthing man. :/ Sem 2.1 was memorable, and in a small way, I quite miss it. That was the only sem I didn't have my bestest girlfriends in the same class too. Then came Sem 2.2, and from there onwards I had a jolly great group to last me through thick & thin, heaven & hell; from Isaac and his everyday lameness, to the occasional group drama we've had, to the comfort in knowing that I've 5 great people to rely on to get me through school. I found joy in CorpComm and writing and all, and I ended up with a superb internship experience. There were rough times of course - the stressful deadlines, no-sleep nights, long school days when you're a tired sod, times when I struggled to make head and tail of tough subjects, and struggling to balance school and life. And then there were fun CCN days, class bonding times, the satisfaction at completing a good piece of work, and of course, those simple little moments of love smiles friendliness and laughter. Who'd wanna forget all that great stuff?!

Aye its pretty hard to put down everything, what I feel for the school and for the last 3 years la. Its very.. mixed. TP has had this ultra impact on me, in so many good ways I didn't expect when I came in 3 years back. I've always said how poly wasn't great because it didn't give me a sense of belonging at all, but strangely enough, its hard saying Bye to this now and moving on.

Sigh! We all HAVE to move on to get through life though, yes? :)

I'll really miss the people, esp the ones I've seen and talked with everyday for so long. I'll miss this polytechnic's lively culture. I'll miss the familiar places and habits and faces. and the food the food!! oh my cutlet and cheese. hahaha. Hmm I quite hate feeling so nostalgic and attached la but hahah, there's so many things about it to miss man!! It was all pretty awesome. And even though its the hols now and I've been enjoying every second of it since it started, boy, I wonder what it'll be like for the next 4 months or so.

Byebye, Temasek Poly! ♥
