Karpathos - 19th of September

Karpathos the windy island, that's right, today wind force five.

The beach of Kyra Panagia is situated between steep cliffs, which is really breathtaking. And the gorgeous little church with red dome of the same name, watches over the village and the beach on the cliffs.

Lunch at beach restaurant Kavos and the rest of the afternoon we enjoyed the greek island life to the fullest, the sea, the beach and wind in the hair. Most likely the last beach day of the year. Bye bye beach.

Karpathos - 18th of September

Oh this private pool with sunrise view, we cherish those wonderful refreshing & short swimming laps at all possible moments, because we can!

The enchanting and colorful neighboring village Menetes had charmed us so much, so we went there once more and had a drink at the partridge tavern on the corner.

In the afternoon we had lunch at the beach in restaurant Glaros and entertained ourselves on the beach for the rest of the afternoon. Henk went beachcombing and made a piece of art with the waste he found.

In the evening we had dinner at Sofia, one of the oldest restaurants in Pigadia which is always packed. We had to wait in the queue, but it was definitely worth it!

Upon returning home at villa september, another dive under the light of the super moon and countless stars!
