November is pretty much the start of the knitting season for me. I just started a spencer with burgundy yarn.

Autumn walk in the woods.

After a long summer (early April to mid-October, because of my workshop travels to Marrakech), I appreciate the autumn weather.

If only for the stunning yellow ginkgo tree in the frontyard.
And for the winter wardrobe from the attic, your own 'old collection' suddenly seems new again; boots, cardigans (my favorites), sweaters, boots, warm winter coats...

For the time being, I'm still enjoying the season, knowing that soon I will be done with it.

spring is in the air

pure & natural

Basic baby cardigans in natural colors. They are tough and sweet at the same time.
The wee cardigans you can find in my Etsy shop, except for the handmade cardigan in the last picture, that's mine.

Today is perfect cardigan weather, time for a Sunday autumn walk.

There's a very bright(!) red cardigan and a cool green one.
And just like the wee baby collection, with tweed stripes chested & sleeves.

It appears to be a need for a toddler collection too, so I intend to make another wood & wool wee collection.

The cobalt blue cardigan has been sold yesterday and is on its way to a cute baby in Munich.

The making of the baby cardigans collection was super fun!
I fell in love with each single wee cardigan while I was making them.
The basic cardigan pattern I found on www.allcrafts.net and adjusted the cardigan a bit to my liking.(size 56 to 68)

Today I photographed the eight pieces of the wood & wool wee wear collection and all together they are even cuter. In the attic I found some baby treasures of my children, Pippa's cuddly pets and an old autumn peg from Minne's nursery...

The cardigans are now on display in my Etsy shop!
