Going Private!?

Anybody have any pro's or con's either on an open blog or a private one. I'm trying to make a decision about what I should do so I'd love any input. Thanks!

This is a game that my mother played with me when I was young. I've always played this with the other boys but I don't remember starting it this young.

Flakes in October?!

Saturday morning.........Sleeping in was on our minds. Yet children seem to have a way of planning our schedule for us. Today started at 4:30 with Carter whispering "Mom can I sleep on your side of the bed" (meaning on the floor) He already had his blanket and pillow so I said yes. What he didn't mention is that the reason he had woken up was because he had a very, very loud and frequent cough which did not add to our sleeping comfort:) Well we finally decided that we would all get out of bed and eat breakfast. I heard a familiar noise at the sliding door but it was very quite so I ignored it. But their it was again and louder this time. So I opened the blinds only to see our neighbors out playing in this.............

Bread Making Monday's

One thing that I love to do for my family is make homemade freshly ground wheat bread. My mother in law introduced the recipe and helped me with the fist batches. It became so easy. That Christmas my husband got me a bosh mixer and my mom a wheat grinder!! It was just what I wanted. The Book that my mother in law gave me is called Grain of Truth a healthy alternative. It's by Beverly L. Prentice. It's a great book. You can check it out at Barnes and Noble to see if it's something you would enjoy. One of my favorite stores in Idaho Falls is the Preparedness Store. They sell Dough Enhancer and what I love is the White Wheat. It's great. That's what I would recommend. As you can see the bread makes my boys so happy. Carter & Andrew like it hot out of the oven with butter and honey. I love the smell that it brings into my house. So if you have had a bad experience with bread making before, TRY AGAIN!! Keep doing it and you'll see that it becomes easy and so worth it. Happy Baking!

So I'm having some problems with my blog. I'm asking about my column on the right that's not there right now. It went to the bottom of my blog!! So frustrating. I don't know how to fix it so if any one has any ideas. Send them my way! Thanks!!

Showing off the Costumes!

I figured that we wouldn't be heading down for Halloween, so I thought it would be fun for the boys to at least show everyone what they'll look like in a couple weeks. Of course everyone wanted the gun (thank you grandma Womack :) So when it was Hayden's turn Andrew said "Cow............Boy?" It made everyone laugh. Thanks everyone for a fun week.

My Getaway Cabin in the Mountains!

I couldn't believe what little mountains are in Twin. Going up to Victor reminded me of somethings that we're missing.......Mountains, Water, and Green trees! It was so great. I got a little sick on the way up, but I won't blame that on your driving Mom! :) Like always Jill & Cody took care of us. Thank you Mom for watching all the boys while Jill took me to the spa & treated me. I love you both & had a wonderful time at my getaway cabin in the mountains.
