Black on black

I know it's Summer, but sometimes in  the summer I wear Black.

 After a short blog break I am hopefully back without too many interruptions. Sometime life throws you a few curve balls that you have to be prepared for. I wanted to give all of you a heads up that if the  blog goes dark for a couple of days  I have not vanished I am just trying to squeeze everything in. The month of  July is going to be a  little rocky for me, my other PAYING job is calling for extra time  and I am working on a few book adventures. Hopefully by the end of the month all will be sorted. I just want to say thank you to all of you 

who send me such wonderful and encouraging emails.

This blog is my dream job and I do it for all of you.

Grey with Red

Dress~ Calvin Klein, Bag~ Bandolino, Shoes~ Jessica Simpson.

I never thought I could wear red lipstick, but the problem was finding the right shade of red.  It only took me 40 years to find this one which is Revlon Color-Stay 050 top tomato. 

I put this lipstick on at 1:00pm and took it off at 10:00pm and it still looked just as bright.

I am so happy that I didn't give up.

Four Shades of Grey

I have always loved clean, classic shapes when it comes to dresses and Calvin Klein seems to be my favorite, business dress maker. His dresses always fit me so well without too many alterations. The key is, no matter what size you are, buy the dress just a tiny bit bigger and have it altered to fit your curves perfectly.
