Look's who's one!

My sweet little Aubrey turned one the end of December. I can't believe how fast she has grown. It always amazes me how much they learn in their first year.
Here is a bunch of pictures of her birthday party.

Opening presents

The Cake
Another cute creation by my talented sister-in-law Melanie.
Thanks again Mel!

She didn't have a clue what she was suppose to do with the candle.

I just love watching my kids dig into their cake on their first birthday. (That's why I have so many pictures). Aubrey had a lot of fun with her cake. She ate a little, but mostly just enjoyed playing in it.

Look what a good sharer she is. She's trying to feed Brynli her cake.

Here she is with her new rocking horse that she got for her birthday. It was so funny watching her try to figure out how to get on it.
"should I come in from the back?"
"maybe I should try the side"

oh look, she finally figured it out.
Happy Birthday my cute Aubrey!

Family Picture

The Sunday after Christmas when everyone was dressed up in their new Christmas attire I made sure to take a picture of the family. Since I never got Christmas cards out this year I was going to send out New Years cards and use this picture of us. Well that never happened either. What a slacker I am. Can you send out Valentine cards? Even if we don't get any cards sent out, I thought the picture was too cute not to share. What a good looking family I have.

Christmas 2010

If I get my Christmas photos posted before the end of January then I am still good right? Well Santa found his way to our house and we all had a wonderful Christmas. Here are some pictures of the fun day.
The traditional picture on the stairs as the kids are waiting for the ok to come down and open their presents.

The thing Sadie wanted the most for Christmas was a barbie with a guitar. When she opened this guitar first she said, "Oh, maybe Santa wants me to be the barbie".

These are pictures from Christmas at Grandma's house. It's almost as fun as Christmas at home.

I love this picture of Aubrey. She decided that she liked this present thing and she kept going to grandpa and holding out her hands wanting him to give her more presents.

Another Christmas come and gone and everyone got plenty spoiled.

Enjoying the snow

We decided that with all the snow we got we couldn't let it all go to waste. So while Wyatt was off work on Christmas Eve we went and bought a couple of sleds, came home and made a sledding hill just outside our house. It was great! Aubrey and I didn't have to get all bundled up and go out in the snow, but we could still watch the fun and get good pictures. Sadie could come and go as she pleased. She would get cold and come in for a while, then decide she wanted to play some more and go back outside. Each kid could come in as they were done and get hot chocolate, and let those who still wanted to play stay out and not have to hear whining. It was a win win for everyone. Here are some pictures of the fun.
Derek trying out the hill.

Derek catching a little air on the jump that Wyatt built.

Wyatt perfecting the jump and making it just right.

Sadie helping make an igloo with the brick builder that Kamryn bought.

Brynli playing in the snow.

Kamryn catching a little air on his snowboard.

These two pictures are of Sadie walking in her daddy's footsteps. I thought it was so cute.

Now Sadie is taking a turn on the sled with her dad.

Brynli giving it a try. Wyatt made Brynli and Sadie their own run. It was a little slower and minus the jump at the bottom.

Derek had to give his snowboard a try too.

Brynli did her part to help with the igloo.

The finished igloo. Not to bad.

And here are the die hards, Wyatt and Kamryn. They stayed out the longest. They were just having way to much fun.

And here is a cute picture of Aubrey all bundled up. She didn't go sledding with the kids, but she still has a nice warm coat to keep her warm on these cold winter days.
