Field Trips

May is the season for field trips. I have been able to go with Derek to the Library, park, Dinosaur museum, Airport, and bowling alley.

I went with Brynli and her pre-school class to the Fire Department and the park. They let all the kids that wanted to put on a fire hat and coat and spray the hose. It was pretty cute. They also gave all the kids a plastic fire hat and badge.

Kamryn was a little sad that I didn't go with his class on their field trip. They went to the water and sewer treatment plants. That just didn't sound very fun to me. I did go with his class last December to the Dinosaur museum and another museum in town. I decided to post pictures from that field trip, so he wouldn't feel bad that he was left out of this post.
He sure looks like he is having a blast!

Puzzled!

Sadie's favorite thing to do lately is puzzles. She loves them! She started with this 63 piece Strawberry Shortcake puzzle. At first she would just put Strawberry Shortcake together, and need help for all the background, but after doing it a few times she was able to put the whole puzzle together. For Easter she got a Princess puzzle with 150 pieces. She wants to put it together at least once a day. (We don't do it everyday, but she would like to.) She is pretty good at it. I usually do the outside edges and organize the pieces into the different princesses, and then she puts them together. She amazes me at how well she does. She is only two. Last time we went to my mom's, she got out of the car and the first thing she said was, "We're at Grandma's house, she has lots of puzzles, I want to do a puzzle". Needless to say we did quite a few puzzles that night (thanks Jodi). She is such a cutie, but she can also be quite the stinker. You would think that if she can put together a 150 piece puzzle mostly by herself she should be able to go potty. I just don't get it.
