So don't be afraid to let them show...your true colors, true colors are beautiful like a rainbow...

Hi, sistahs! Happy Bellariffic Friday! This week's challenge from Stamping Bella was to use Polka Dots...super fun. Did you play along? If you did, don't forget to link your card in the SCS gallery (BELLARIFFIC0812) for a chance to win a 20.00 voucher from Stamping Bella!

This week I colored up another new image...this one is called Painter Meg. Isn't she a cutie?

I stamped her in Memento Black on Bella's Bestest Paper and colored with Copic Markers. Then I sponged the edges of the image with Soft Sky ink...love how it looks here. The sentiment was stamped in Stazon on a strip of vellum and adhered over the image.

The polka dot paper is from Echo Park, but I changed the brown dots to black with a Copic marker. To finish off the image I added some highlights with a white charcoal pencil...love that thing!

So next week is a SKETCH CHALLENGE! Here's the sketch to work with:
All you have to do to play along is create a project with the sketch using Bella Stamps and send your card to Emily (emily@stampingbella.com) by Thursday night! You'll be entered to win some Bella Bucks $$$, and your card will be published on the Bloggabella!  Also, if you upload to your gallery on Splitcoast as well (it's free!) using our keyword (you can find that in our forum HERE) you have two chances to win some BUCKEROONIS! Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with. Don't forget to check out the other goodies posted on Emily's Blog HERE, and post a comment for another chance to win some Bucks. Have a fabulous day!

Here we go again...I kinda wanna be more than friends...So take it easy on me...

Happy Friday, sistahs! It's Bellariffic Friday here again, and this week was a sketch challenge!

A fun one for sure!! I have been missing my Kettos, so I pulled out little Missmatch Ketto, and watercolored her for this week:

Isn't she so adorable?? I have an outfit *just* like that. (hee)
She was stamped in Black Stazon on watercolor paper, then colored with various dye inks. I love the way the wash of yellow around her turned out, if I do say so myself. I cut and embossed the image with the Curved Rectangle Nestabilities and sponged around the edges. Of course I had to add some Diamond Stickles...you can't color a girl with a pink tiara and NOT add glitter. Seriously.

I found a couple of scraps of paper (from Crystal Wilkerson and October Afternoon) that coordinated perfectly, and then added a big pink bow around the card base. This was such a fun layout...it's definitely going to be one I use again!

Well, that's about all from me today...I hope you can play along to next week's challenge, which is:
A FREE FOR ALL...ANYTHING GOES!!
Now, come on...I know you can do that one! All you have to do to play along is create a project using Bella Stamps and send your card to Emily (emily@stampingbella.com) by Thursday night! Lend me your ears and I'll sing you a song, And I'll try not to sing out of key. Oh I get by with a little help from my friends...

Happy Monday, sistahs! I don't know if you saw THIS POST on Bloggabella the other day, but Emily has been showing some sneak peeks of some images she is releasing on Tuesday! And today we get to give you a bigger preview of what's coming!! The image I'm showing you today is Patty and Dottie, a new addition to the Uptown Girls collection! I have to say, I think they are just fabulous...

Aren't they cute??? I love that Dottie is making rabbit ears on Patty's head...and their boas are my favorite part, I think. I just had to glitter them all up with Glamour Dust and a Quickie Glue Pen:

Then I added the sentiment...how hilarious is that? I can think of SEVERAL of my girlfriends I could send this to. I mounted the image and sentiment onto a Maya Road Kraft Envelope...I envisioned sending a handwritten letter in the mail inside this fun little package...or a gift card or a certificate to the spa...so many fun choices! Make sure you check out Bloggabella to see who else might have a peek for you today!
I hope you enjoyed my post...thanks so much for stopping by to see me, and have a fabulous day!

Oh, since the day I saw you I have been waiting for you...you know I will adore you till eternity...

Welcome to our January 2012 After Party Hop!  Last night we released 3 new stamp sets, 4 plain janes and 4 dies!  All of the new products we've been showcasing this week are available now in the Verve store! Be sure to leave a little comment love as you take a stroll through the Diva blogs.

I created a fun card using the a bunch of the new Die Sets...and some old ones!

I cut out these fabulous hearts with the Wavy Hearts Die from some Funky Christmas paper, then added the little accent pieces in Melon Mambo, which are from the Charming Oval Die Set cut in half and embellished with Liquid Pearls. The little turquoise heart is from the From the Heart Die Set. I use these little hearts ALL THE TIME! I especially love them in felt. I love keeping a baggie full of die cut scraps so I can put them all together and use what I need. That way when I cut things, I fill up the plate and cut a whole bunch to use later!

Next I stamped the Happy Valentine's Day Plain Jane in Versamark and embossed it in White embossing powder. The finishing touch was the little butterfly from Twitterpated cut with the All Aflutter Die Set. Then I colored it with Copics and covered it with Martha Stewart Coarse Crystal Glitter.

That's all for me today, folks! One lucky commenter from today's hop will win the ENTIRE Release! Check out the Verve Blog today for all the prize details and deadlines. Have a fabulous day!
