Sweet Stampin' - bingo board for Halloween

Happy Saturday :o)

For this week's challenge at Sweet Stampin' we have a Halloween bingo board... although there are a couple of lines where you could squeeze something 'un-Halloween' in too!

Here's my card... another one that I have absolutely no use for really, but I had fun making it.

I used the Halloween Squares set from DigiStamp Boutique, coloured with copics, with some old First Edition papers and a sentiment from a magical/ fairy themed set... which is so old I have no idea where it was from.

I'm entering my card for the following challenges
Simon Says - photo inspiration
Allsorts - Halloween
Try it on Tuesdays - Halloween
Sweet Stampers - autumn or Halloween
The Crazy Challenge - Halloween
Pile It On - fantasy and/ or spiders/ cobwebs

Pav's off out tonight (drinking mucky beer, as Dex puts it), so I have pizza and the remote control all to myself... might even get my knitting out.  Ooh I know how to party eh?!

Thanks for popping in :o)

Without Words - Boo!

Hello everyone :o)

Our challenge at Without Words for this month is 'Boo!'... we'd like to see something spooky, scary or magical.

I don't really make Halloween cards, but Dex was invited to a birthday party recently... I asked him what I should put on Jack's card, and he said 'zombies'... I might not ask him next time!  Luckily Sally-Ann at DigiStamp Boutique came to the rescue with this Cute Monster Zombie image, and fab matching sentiment... as there's not much zombie stuff out there that's suitable for a 7yr old!

Hope you have a lovely evening :o)

Monster Boo - DigiStamp Boutique DT

Hello again!

I'm back with my 2nd post for today, my DT card for DigiStamp Boutique, using a FAB new image called Monster Boo...

I just love this monster, he makes me smile.. fabulous isn't he?!

We've got Dex's parents evening tonight, but I'll be around later for a bit of a catch up with your blogs... hope you have a lovely evening :o)

Passion For Promarkers - fright night!

Hello everyone :o)

Our challenge for this week at Passion For Promarkers is 'fright night' (or Halloween).  We're sponsored by our very own Michele, who is offering one lucky winner 3 of her fab digi paper packs which are available at Whimsy Designs.

I really didn't want to make another Halloween creation that would just sit there unused, so I cheated and made something a bit more general... My mum will snap this one up, she likes cute witchy stuff!

Don't look too closely at my colouring!  I was trying something a bit different - I wanted a fairly solid black, with white highlights, rather than the grey tones I usually use, so I coloured with black and then added touches of white prisma pencil... not totally successful, but you have to try these things don't you?!

Items Used
Scallop edge card blank - Craftwork Cards
Digi stamp - Halloween Hattie - DigiStamp Boutique
Colouring - promarkers, flexmarkers & prisma pencils
Papers - Echo Park Summer Days - MCH
Sentiment - Dreamy Days Circular Sentiments - LOTV
Rainbow ribbon - Fantastic Ribbons
Memory Box Simple Banner die - MCH
Viva Decor Pearl Pen in Ice White - MCH
MeiFlower Pink Mix pearls - MCH

I'm entering my card for the following challenges
Songbird Challenges - could it be magic?
Crafty Sentiments - seeing stars
Cupcake Craft - witches & pumpkins
Moving Along With The Times - too cute to spook
My Mum's Craft Shop - so spooky

Off for a couple of hours crafting while the boys are happy playing their games (it's the school hols this week), but I'll be around later to catch up with your blogs.  Hope you all have a lovely day :o)

Sweet Stampin' - Halloween

I'm a bit late posting this - I did a promarker demo today, so I've been busy busy busy preparing for it... hopefully normal blogging activities can now resume!

Our new challenge at Sweet Stampin' is 'Halloween'... Now I must admit I don't really 'do' Halloween, and I wouldn't really choose to make anything for it, but I know lots of you do, so hopefully this will be an easy one!  This very simple little card will probably get popped in one of the boys' lunch boxes... hmm, that means I have to make another one doesn't it?!  We're sponsored by Letraset who have a fab pack of pens for our lucky winner, and Joanna Sheen is our monthly sponsor with a £10 voucher prize.

Without Words - things that go bump!

Ooh I'm a bit late posting this (sorry Squirrel!), I got carried away in the craft room and this is the first chance I've had to blog all day!

Our new challenge for this month at Without Words is 'Things that go bump!'... so Halloween, magic etc, but basically we'd like to see you colour using darker colours.  I wasn't at all sure what I was going to do for this challenge, but then I thought I'd do a bit of a Harry Potter theme for Morgan's birthday card.  It's probably not quite as CAS as it should be for Without Words, but would you believe my son isn't keen on CAS?!  The more fuss and bling the better... for both my boys actually lol.

I'm entering my card for the following challenges

Last minute Halloween creations!

Oh I'm always rolling in at the last minute aren't I?!  But I did at last manage to make something for Halloween - these are for Dex to take into nursery tomorrow for everyone in his 'class'.  He's SO excited about taking them in - isn't it lovely how little things like that make kids so happy, I love it :o)

Sorry the photos aren't great, it was going dark by the time I took my pics and I think it's tricky to take pics of anything other than a card anyway... Oh, and I didn't actually make the cakes - they're available in trays of 18 for £5 from good old Asda lol!

I've used some very cute images from Pink Gem Designs, that luckily come with a line image and a pre-coloured version for those quick makes - I've used the pre-coloured ones as I've done 18 of them for Dex's nursery and then I'll be doing another batch tomorrow for the trick-or-treaters too... I'd never manage to colour all of them so these are perfect for me!  You can see Pink Gem's Halloween digis here.  I've printed them onto linen card and mounted them on black card cut with blossom nesties.  And then stuck them all on some jumbo lolly sticks that I bought from Hobbycraft.  Popped them in cellophane bags, tied them with baker's twine and that's it - one very happy child :o)

There are quite a lot of Halloween challenges around, so I'm entering the following:

Apologies if I've missed any of your challenge rules, I did try to read them all but just delete me if I've not followed any of them properly!
