Oh-kay.

You know what, i thought i was going to die on Tuesday( Ha! If my sisters read this, they'll think that i'm drama-mama-ing again.) . In the early evening, i just had to cover my blanket over my body despite the hot weather, and my body was aching like crazy i tell you. I was running a temperature but yet, i couldnt gauge how bad my fever is because... there was no sight of a thermometer at all! Ugh.

Okay. So i waited for my doctor for at least an hour. (We reached at 6 and the clinic opened only at 630pm) My feets and hands were damn cold. And I politely ask the pharmacist if she could off one of the fans in the clinic. Basket, she blasted off about 6 fans the moment she stepped into the clinic.

She said no.

Like 5 fans blowing round a small area would kill somebody.

Anyway! I was making myself warm by rubbing my legs together and hands cupped against each other.. (lest to mention that I kept on looking at the pharamacist time after time. ) At one point of time, i couldnt stand the cold anymore. I told my sister , " Eh. I tell you. If i die here out of blood freeze, it is the clinic's fault. They cannot even afford to switch off a fan for me." Ha, I think they heard it too cus I was sitting in front of the counter. Plus, i speak pretty loudly.

Hahah! My sister told me to tell the doctor. Not that i ever did though.
Okay. Measured my temperature. Pretty high. Not very proud of it.

Asked doctor if it's a possible case of dengue ( DAMN THOSE BLOODSUCKERS.) and doctor said it was too early to tell. I asked for the symptoms. He said, " Some get rashes, some get bone aches"

"Bone aches? How does it feel like?"

Ha! We exchanged puzzled looks for awhile before he said, "It gets pretty painful in the bones."

Alright, deep.

We got out of the clinic soon after and i questioned my sister, " What if i'm not sure if it is my muscles or the bones that's half paralysing me?"

Till now, I'm still not sure what's the difference. Both's damn painful. How do i differentiate the 2 of them?

Got back home and i was ordered not to cover my blanket in order to keep my fever down. Told to give myself a quick shower, and so i did. Was half trembling and half conscious when i laid on the bed. I tell you, i felt so pathetic. Fever shot up to 39 degrees after that.

This was the climax, man. I swear I would have boiled my brains if my younger sister didnt touch my forehead. It was uber sweet for my two sisters to take care of me for the next hour. Haha, they sponged for more than an hour before my fever came down to 37.8 or something. Obviously, they had their fun (or revenge) placing ice cubes on my forehead and all. Credits go to my older sister though, half the time she kept on telling bimbotic jokes and all. I kept on laughing, and i finally understood that " Laughters the best medicine". (Action: "the peace sign" with a corny smile)

Dad bought me porridge and mom kept me in close observation at night. hahaa :) Family's love is always the strongest. You bet i just said that.

The mosquitoes in my house are happily buzzing around. We've been evacuating everybody out of the way when the "pest-busters" are on a mission. ( that's usually my younger sister and i. We love to kill. Toaster is usually our partner as well. And we're worried that one day he might go crazy sniffing those insecticide.)

I just killed one, i feel good now.

Damn bloody mosquitoes.

I've seen my juniors performed. And they were good. Goodness gracious, I thought they were shy, well reserved girls. But man, when they go on stage, they kill. Individually, when they got on stage, they rang their bells with passion and obviously, a pinch of aggression.

And, that's good. That's what Mr Fong wants anyway! :)

You bet they were enjoying every moment on stage. (okay, that's what i feel. They were so energised. Even if they fake it, it looked real.) It reminded so much of us two years back. Ha! We appreciated every practice, even if we rang for half a day, we were much enthusiastic by it. You know, yesterday night ( after their performances), i went back to my archive to read posts that were put up exactly two years ago. Wham, there you have it. Memories just kept flooding back, man. That nostalgia , was so indescrible.

Eh, to the SYF 05' girls. Please, go back to your own archives and read your posts on the SYF05. In the background, play 13 days in France and the chinese song. You'll prolly have that same experience as I had not long ago.

Besides that, I'm glad that Mr. Fong actually took the heart to sit with us during the beginning of the concert. He was supposed to be seated with the judges or something. Ha. You see how down to earth he is. I mean, simple gestures like these really makes our day somehow. Moreover, it's been almost two years since we'd last met him. Hah!

Yeah! Keep improving alright, PL Handbells syf-ers as well as the helpers! You girls are good. Just dont take it for granted okay. Always have an edge higher than the rest. You did well, you will have to do even better! Do it for PL Handbells, man! I'm gonna make an effort to go down there to support you on the 27th April ( am i right?)

"I dont do different things. I do things differently."

The above quote was from Mr Fong himself. I think he wrote it on white board when we were practicing our SYF pieces two years back. Lest to mention that I dug out this quote from the archives. Ha ha ha.

(Oh, i feel much older after this.. and is it supposed to be a good thing, or bad?)

:)
