taiwan's lovely.
great weather when i went.

and the culture there is really interesting and different from that of Singapore's.

eg. we cant even dispose our toiletpaper into the toiletbowl.
we have to throw into the bin provided.
even public toliets will provide bins.

grouse example. i know.
but i cant think of any other eg now haha.

visited scenic places like dan shui and jiu fen.
and of course, shopped. alot.
haha.
at places like xi men ding [shoes!], shi lin [clothes and sbsp bag], wu fen pu [bags].
i brought like, 400dollars sing worth of NTD [which is roughly about 8000NTD?]
and i am left wth.. 1000NTD [which is about 50bucks]

came back with 4 pairs of shoes, 4 belts, 1 pair of shorts and 3 tops.
i think that's all lar. HEH

following the trip, was class chalet yay.
super fun.
when jiamin, naomi, zhi wei and i reached the site, we were told there was an explosion before we arrived.
cos they didn't put any bricks below the aluminium tray when they bbqed.

then we celebrated the October babies' birthday [namely Nirosha, Marie and Xiangrong]
and went to Pasir Ris park to ton.
Meibin taught us some game and we laughed like siao.
haha.
and also went to Macs to get breakfast after 4am.

went back and i slept at around 5:30.
got up at 11+
considerably late.

day 2 we went to cycle.
took a double bike with twin.
sat at the back.

then we decided not to go escape so instead, we went to subway to makan first.
made a damn hell lot of noise there.
hohoh.

and then.
i cant exactly remember where we went =x
yea okay. fastforward to nighttime.
chloe and i went to make fire for the bbq, again.
cos there was ALOT of leftover food from the night before.

and i daresay xiangrong makes lean mean chicken wings.
seriously nice lar! ((:

slept really early that night.
1:30. woke up at like 9:30?
only to hear that our one veryprecious tube of toothpaste went missing.
so we checked out without brushing our teeth.
but while waiting for the shuttle bus [which comes like, once per hour], xiangrong bought a small tube at the minimart and we all got to brush teeth yay!

went to white sands for breakfast and headed home with do and naomi.

haha i want a chalet again soon! :D

i really really appreciate it.
like. some people had to drag friends to come, while some almost immediately agreed to come, others had no company but still wanted to come, and also got sacrifice study/project time to come.
THANKSSSS x))))

i was reminded that being in a band, isn't really about playing every note on the score with perfection, it is about music making, and enjoying what you play.. getting into the feel of the music and stuff. and enjoying the company as well.

i made mistakes during the concert lar, but i enjoyed the music making ((:
and THANKS for the presents, flowers from Si Hui and Karin, and bear bouquets from Eileen, adel and jo. and yonghan. and plushie flower from Michelle. and oh. HONEY STICKS! :D
and a chocolate from Sok Leng.
and 2 roses, white and red, from law wei and assl.

took loads of photos from other people's camera after that. haha.
thank assl and benson for the cameras!

loitered around and went for supper that.
roti prata.
got home at 1:30am.
damn tired lar.
but damn happy.
satisfied.
whoo.

and i was seriously damn upset cos i couldn't play.
even after practising.

but after the concert, i feel that. all the effort was worth it lor.
teehee.

okay i damn tired now.
somemore i am down with slight flu.
i shall go to sleep soon.

it's 2nd nov today.
long-awaited day for me?

yea. probably.
i haven had concerts in what.. 1 1/2 years?
so i guess it's alright to feel a little nervous hur.

think i'll just try my best and play what i can, and try to play what i cant today.
concerts are meant to be enjoyed by everyone.
including the players.

gosh i am so tired now.
off to pack up.
then i'l l go SLEEP.

what a day it has been.
seriously.

first i woke up to find that the toothpaste is missing.
so the 9 of us checked out without brushing teeth ROFL.

then xiangrong went to buy toothpaste for us to share.
so nice right!

oh and while packing, i noticed that my wallet zip gave way.
so i just changed my wallet.

and and my bag zip, the small one inside, is abit err.. loose.
but mian qiang abit, it's fine lar actually =x

i went to some seng kang bus stop, in front of st anne's church i think?
to change bus, from 88 to 82 after breakfast with the rest.
then i had stomachache and there was this multi-storey carpark behind so i thought i would just try my luck there.
maybe there'll be a toilet there.

scarly when i walked into the carpark, 82 came.
the next one came like, 10+ mins later.
okay nevermind.

then when i got to my doorstep, i suddenly realised i forgot to bring my set of housekeys to chalet. gosh!

so i waited at my doorstep for 2hours+ for my younger brother to come back and open the door for me.
while waiting, i had to cancel my meeting my michelle. SORRY GIRL! X((
played some handphone games and also fell asleep, head leaning against the gate while waiting.

and keep in mind that i had stomachache.
and then an hour and a half into waiting and it rained.
the rain got heavier and heavier till i had to seek for shelter in the lift, as in like, stand inside but dont press anything.
that bad lar the rain. cos it kept coming in, and i kena-ed.

couldn't decide what to do after i got home and my brother suggested that i go for the concert meeting.
so yea.

i mean, if he could understand that i have to be responsible, why can't i right.

okay. done with this entry.

i will be going to Taiwan yay!

and i noticed that a lot of people are going to Taiwan during their holidays.

okay. better start blogging before i forget what i intend to blog about.

first of all, HELLO PEOPLE.
thank you for tagging!

next; first day of work.
i know this is super late cos i already got my pay slip [today!]
but i'll just briefing talk about work lar.
since i haven been blogging about it.
in fact, i haven been blogging much.

i still remember on the first day of work, there was still the bigbig black board thingy covering vthe whole shop.
well the board just stated the shop name, Dries van Noten and "Opening soon"

when we entered, the shop looked superrrr high end.
the place was still a little messy then. but we could lar.
and we were very impressed with the size of the shop.
pop by my workplace someday and you'll know what i am talking about.

ohoh!
on the first day of work, we [supervisor jasmin, senior erica, naomi and me] opened up 31 cartons of clothes.
capable or what hahaha.
AND.
we steamed all the clothings for display.
capable or capable lar.
haha!
OT-ed for an hour that day.

and all the empty cartons and plastics and stuff were mostly [80++%?] thrown by me and naomi.
it's like, quite a few trips worth of stuff.

it's like, you gotta leave the shop, walk walk walk drag drag drag the cartons to the [i think] staff lift, and then make your way to B1 to throw the thrash.
pretty tiring okay.
oh. we actually saw people making mooncakes right in front of the lift lobby during that period of time
like, open the lift door and you can see =x

okay, back to the shop.
the decor's really sophisticated as well.
i heard the furnitures and vases [25k each!] and stuff were all hand-picked by Dries himself.
oh i was just told today, that the renovation, imports and/of furniture [all from Belgium] and all total up to about 3million dollars.
gosh lar.

oh yea. the clothes.
there's a range for the pricing.
but it's something like, clothes wtih sequins are at least 2k, shirts are about 400 dollars...
that's all i can remember.
oops =x

well, i guess that what happens when you just resumed work after 6days off.
2days for band camp,
a day for pl fundfair,
3 days for recuperating after vommiting, diarrhoea and fever.
oh and a jab.

got food poisoning on saturday night.
so did jolene.
so it's probably the camp food that did us in.
though camp ended on like, friday night.
but abit too qiao right.

dad got food poisoning too. monday night.

okay, now to PL fund fair.
it was uber cool lar.
but we all felt that the previous was better.
like, more happening?

met up with eileen, joanna, adel, breanna and teresa first.

saw alot alot of people in the fair, like lao po!

haha. miss her like hell man.

8 years of friendship, and counting!

saw mich and the rest too.

kept on bumping into them haha.

maybe PL is too small for us!

went out of school in an attempt to find a suitable phone charger for my handphone after that.

following that, i went to qianru's place and found a suitable phone charger teehee.

then it was dinner with the girls qianru, michelle, tracy, wenxin, yizhen and wendy at Kobayashi heartland.

dessert was at macs and then i headed home and the whole food poisoning thing began.

suck man i tell you.
