Grow old with me

http://beginbeing.blogspot.com/2010/02/mousepaths-by-anatoly-zenkov.html
A really cool application tracking your mouse movements, been having a lot of fun with it the past 2 days. The above picture's my mouse activity from 930am to about 2pm. [Ignore the clock that says 4! [Only decided to print screen 2 hours later]] The biggest dot being my 1 hour nap and the 2nd largest dot, my lunch. I was working on my magazine layout this morning in Indesign. Pretty frustrated using it as I'm still quite new to the program. But it is really useful for doing spreads, well that's what Indesign's built to specially do...

Hmm what else..

I discovered a new artist today called Michael Sowa, who happens to be related to the Amelie movie! He drew stuffs for the movie.

When I first saw this picture, the inside of me went awww what's this poor bunny doing here in a dark grim city like this. It's from a book called Esterhazy, the rabbit prince. I'm interested to read it, maybe gona try the library to borrow a copy.

Last but not least, as the fatigue of this long day sitting here has worn me out almost completely, I'm gona end this with a song, old friends.

A song that needs no intro.
Grow old with me.

Conversation with myself

Haven't been writing much since I've become more dedicated to my offline journal. Because I can write anything I want, I can use colour pens and I can touch and feel my pages... Hmm but that doesn't mean I'll abandon what I have here. ;)

Now how to start a blog post without having a review of the usual how was my day: let's see..

Spent my day in NLB researching for my Asian Art presentation next week with Sk. It was okayyyy though I wouldn't say it was fun but with an ol' foundation friends' company, it's funny. haha. Dramatic too. I borrowed my bro's laptop again after the last time I lost one, it's back home now in one piece safe and sound. Even though so, I almost lose my wallet like leaving it at the photocopy room, rushing to go off as the library's closing and NLB's locker keys due to my blurness yet again.

=_=

I'm really trying hard not to forget my stuffs everytime I go somewhere. I wonder how do people blunder like this, whether it can be explained scientifically and changed with improved habits? Geez.

Other than that, I saw this really sweet scene on the train. This girl came in with a ballooon and sat down opposite of me. Then I saw outside the window was her sweetheart, knocking on the glass, waving her byebye with a big smile. The girl turned her head and waved too. Train started to move and the boy started walking and then running, going after, with the girl looking back... And there the train moved on as it picked up its usual pace...

Concert aftermath

I am so tired from the everyday practices and school work and co and school and co and school. I don't really have much time for anything else. Concert was a blast, got almost full house much to our worries before. It's barely been a day since the big day but things are not over yet. There's still small performances to earn money for the overseas trip.

I should have a lot to say, being in a position whereby I play a part in organising this concert too being in charge of publication. Learnt a lot about how the school works, though still not everything I think. We're all too busy for our school lives. Being an undergraduate in a local uni is really really tough, there's a lot of expectations and high hopes. Even in CCA, my conductor said: 大学要有大学的水准。There's always so much things to read, so much things to do and time is never ever enough, especially in ADM.

I've barely recovered from my flu and fatigue from yesterday I have to be rushing my 10kg weight of projects already. Such is life here. I wonder if the unis in other countries are like this too or is it only the unis in this small stressful country...

Nevertheless, really appreciate those who came yesterday! Thank you :)
