I was rather frustrated when 157 came as I made a trip back home again a while ago because I forgot to take something. To my surprise this isn't quite the usual 157 I used to take...

Red carpeted walls and sofa seats, on a bus!

See those seats facing the window far at the front of the bus? There's a mini bar-like table against the window. Super cool.
Wonder if this's for some kind of ad but I don't see anything related except for the nokia-music-phone thingy? I doubt it's for that, it's too hidden behind. It'd be cool to see more of these buses but of course there's limited seats. The funny thing is I was sitting in a super old tibs bus yesterday, you know those kind where the door slides open before the bus actually stops? This one had trouble closing and the bus continues to run with the door struggling to close and finally closed it did.
Anyway today very random, when I was looking through my file for my 4D sketches, I browsed through a French film festival booklet and on the spot decided to watch
Tokyo! today!
It's a film consisting of 3 short films shot in Tokyo by three directors from different countries - France, Korea and Germany. The three stories are namely Interior design, Merde, Shaking Tokyo, it depicts Tokyo life in the eyes of these foreign directors. There I saw Michel Gondry's name (director for eternal sunshine of the spotless mind!) So yes, I must watch this and of course it was good!

Without much spoiling all I can say is it's very abstract but entertaining as well, some images very disturbing but puts you to think, alot, am still. There were shots shot with steady hands [either that or there's some kind of device that can move with the cam] following the characters as they walk, I like that. It's rather funny at times too.
Girl: The bigger the company you work for, the smaller the flat you live in.
Guy: So you work in a big company?
Girl: No I work in a small one. [flat is very small]
If you feel useless, you can always be an object and live a life of your own.
