I thought I could sleep longer since I'm to report BB at 10am today. But I can't get to sleep after my Mom ask me what I want for breakfast an hour ago. -.-
So busy with co!
Sat got co, Sun is BB concert day, Wed got co, Thurs got co, Friday is SPCO Concert day. Then Sat got co again.
And then everyone is like playing Matsuri, SP playing, go to BB they also play, even GekPoh also wana play Matsuri! I'm so sick of this song now.
SPCO comm this year is so enthu! I'm all motivated to sell my tickets. We trying to aim for full house so please buy a ticket from me! This concert will be worth it!
And there's still alot of things not done for FYP, haven't touch my ACAN and there's ADVA also.
Stress. Busy.
But I like this stress.
Last time I'm to stress over such things anyway.
Hope I can get all these things done proper.

Sour tea
Just when I was all excited having just got home from watching "I am Legend" with Qiu, Jia and Ama, I opened my fridge and decided to have a cup of cool herbal tea [you know those milk-carton like ones that you can store in the fridge for a week or so]~
Hmm how come it tastes sour.
*quickly grabs carton out of fridge and glances at expiry date*
25 Dec
Damn la! So totally ruined my jovial mood! EEK.
*tries to switch back* ahem
It was 8.45pm, some hours after I reached home from practice and I was thinking of going to bathe.. when Qiu called to ask me go watch 9.30 show at JE! o.o!
Curious waht it'd be like for the only person living left, I wanted to watch. So I went and omg the show was so emotionally AWESOME! Rarely has a show made me close on verge to tear. I was slightly teary. The production must have cost a bomb la! Can't imagine all the procedures they have to go through to get to shoot on an empty New York City, well parts of it. All the vehicles, the plants they planted. The shots were reallllly nice, well planted.
I can feel so strongly for Robert in the show, I laughed with him, feel sad with him, feel scared for him- whenever he faces danger I was like ouch ouch no no!!! DON'T! Maybe because he's the only sole main character and all my empathy just went out for him. He's thought to be the only man living on Earth, how could anyone not feel for him :/
Everyone should watch this show!

Merry Xmas' 07
I was chatting with Yishan on Msn, it's been so long since I've chatted on the Msn! As in really chat, not just laming around with lols and hahas kind. I'm feeling abit excited about the upcoming concert yet dreading it to come so fast.
Anyway I spent my Xmas eve with Kets! Headed to Bugis Kinokuniya and bought the "HERO Official Book"!

While Kets bought her comics~

I flipped the pages with care while we were slacking at starbucks. There were plenty of production photos and stills from the movie, some were actually quite grainy especially the stills :/ But the interviews, memorable quotes, location pics, recap from the drama at the later pages seem to make up for it but I can't read it. I CAN'T READ IT. It's gona take a few years to read it probably, now that I'm taking Japanese lessons next year.
On Christmas Day, I spent my day with these 5 little pigs.

We exchanged presents @ Holland V NYDC. And we got:
Pang got a cute cake pouch thing from Nica
Ama got a pink pouch in a cute box from Jia
Nica got a PIG coin bank cum calendar from Qiu
Qiu got a Snoopy pencil Holder with cookies baked by Pang
Jia got mittens and a Frog coin bank from ME
And I got a pair of punctuation earrings, mousepad and ferreros in a cute bear box from Ama.
Ok. Now that I've wrote what we got, can still recap if I were to look at this post next year! xD

Took neoprints on both days too but my scanner's spoiled. =.=
Alright, enough fun, time to chiong FYP and asssssssignments.

Week13
To sum up what I went through this fruitful week13~ Long post ahead.
Monday: It was really a bad day, my friend didn't turn up, the singnet man didn't turn up to fix my internet as scheduled. After I called them, they sent the man to the wrong house! They're so screwed up. -.- I lingered around in City Hall till I saw Vic who happened to be alone too and we shopped for her D&D shoes together. =D Last time her phone no batt, she saw me walking pass also haha. Very funny.
Tuesday: The singnet man finally fixed my wires. He was so chatty and kept asking me what happened between me & singnet. After that met up with Jx, Ali and Kets to sign up Jap Lessons @ Bunka. We sat at starbucks and talked through the night. Outside starbucks is this big screen outside the Shaw Plaza. Looking outside from starbucks at night with the christmas lights on, many people walking to and fro. I felt like I was in Tokyo or some big city outside S'pore. Nice ^^
Wednesday: Went back to school to do FYP.
Thursday-Saturday: SPCO training camp
Day 1:
- Reached the school at 1 plus and slacked for a bit before we went for practice on our own by the stairs for 战马!
- At night us gals decided to go bathe at Aijie's hostel. But after walking halfway we chickened out and decided to call Mervyn for escort. Thank you Mervyn ^^
- The hostel was bigger than I expected and it's even safe to leave the door open! o.O
- We watched bits and pieces of POTC3 while waiting for each other to finish bathing. Turns out Aijie watched twice [like me] too! Yes! Another pirate fan =D
- Slacked, talked, played and eventually fell asleep.
Day 2
- Bored, I thought hey I wana take some photos for keepsake. Think I'm influenced by Dasao already.. And I managed to grab Aijie and Jingshi who's just around me to take this:

Well it's taken using Merv's phone, the master should be in the pic too!

And no Yishan don't wana take :/

- Sectional is practise 战马 again. Out of these 3 years, this is one of the best sectionals I've had because we have 7 people, not only that they're nice people too =) Previously it's often just Veron and me. Sounds pathetic but I enjoyed her company very much too. There's this serenity aura that I'll always feel at peace with her around. Ah I'm bad at desribing.

-The 3 musketeers came for combine. Then we combined 战马 together, was so awed by their playing man! Every note is like so nice.
- After combine, tried to play some Tiersen pieces on the piano with Veron and failed. But we had fun and exchanged songs!
- We had night walk later and I paired up with the BFG. It wasn't scary because we know each other too well, too well that he remarked I'm still as indecisive as ever -.- [shows that I've got empathy eh!] Anyway we kept talking, something I realised I didn't do with my partner the last time I walked. Found out YiJun was in DMMT too!
- After bathing, we sat at co room and listened to PeiCheng's lame racist jokes. But I was too sleepy to carry on listening, I left halfway and headed studio to sleep. Chaoyong & PeiZhen came over to stay too, I thought the camp wasn't noisy enough without the usual noisy cy. haha.
Day3
- Seeing me carry so many things home, Jingshi offered to help me take some. Not only this time, there's alot of times she ask me whether I need help with things which I thought was very sweet of her ;)
Wished u were here Xingzuan! ;)

Week 12
Today I watched Star Awards thinking how tough it must be standing on the stage wondering what to say especially when with a foreign star and being a live show, it's so awkward!
Suddenly feel inspired after I read Sharon Au's blog just now. [Seems like she likes SMAP too! =D] It's been a while since she's on television. =)
Drive to treasure my remaining school days and really looking forward to learning Japanese next year with A, B and D. Can't wait to learn so that I can read my official Hero book when I buy it!
Instead of dreading the unknown, why not embrace whatever new that is coming.
It's time to move out of my comfort zone.
5 more weeks of school to go. I'm left with
My FYP: Working on design stuffs for now.
ACAN Assignment 2: eh needa touch up on the models, texturing, polish up the animation.
ADVA Assignment 2: Just need to polish the design, maybe add more stuffs and our game's done!
The last GEM test: which shouldn't be a problem
My last SPCO camp as an SP student: I'll definitely go of course. Hope it's fun!
SPCO annual concert: which reminds me I haven't been practising much on my qizhou =.= Maybe my last one or not, definitely last concert as a student here so I better give my best and leave with no regrets ;)
Actually my final semester ain't as stress as I thought it would be. If we plan properly and follow the schedule, being on track, it won't be stressing. I'm missing the fun times I had with Qiu Amy and Jia! Haven't been seeing you 3 for a while since we watched Hero.
I'm feeling exceptionally awake this Sunday after staying at home sleeping, watching dramas, tv, reading articles, swearing on my trigger happy on off modem which hopefully can be fixed when the man comes tomorrow.

This is a half-thought half-rational generated post
The "Love Generation" OP Song is like a earworm stuck to my head now. Hence I'm still here looping the song. Its those old Japanese love songs with those oldie-like constant drum beats with a lonely sounding male voice singing. -.- Sounds boring but it brings out my emotion side of my mind! [I'm a rational person rmb? ^^"]
*Long pause*
I spent my day watching "Love Generation" [Randomly picked that up while surfing on the net ytd cos I'm was in the TakuTaka mood so yeah] It's a very old title already but nevermind I just wanted to see TakuyaTakako again so why not.
So now I'm getting the after-drama-blues. [Yeah finished watching already]
Damn I'm spending such a long time to think what I wana write the next line
Hmm..
*17 mins later*
Seems like my rational mind just decided to kick in..
Guess I'm just feeling empty.
It's the song that's making me feel empty -.-

Week 11 past already

Last week I was either out shooting or hanging out with my co friends. We finally finished production! Was so tired there was a day I slept at 11 plus- that's considered very early to me.
Sat was Leng's comm gathering and also celebrating Vic's Bday. Had alot of fun eating and K-ing. The karaoke's only $10 with free flow of drinks for 5 hours, there's even shark fin soup. haha. Such a big gathering with so many people HOW CAN I FORGET TO BRING MY TICKETS TO SELL! :/ Sigh what a pity.

More people came to join in after the meal

More info & pics at xz's blog as usual. ;)

Yesterday I was at Kinokuniya when this japanese girl came to ask me to do a survey for her school project. I just had to circle some pictures of what would I like to do during my school holidays. She was like trying very hard to tell me in English what I had to do but I find her so kawaii! I wouldn't mind doing surveys like that for such a cute girl XD
AND.. I saw the HERO movie soundtrack on sale at HMV!
It's still better to listen to it with the visuals rather than stand alone.. so it didn't made me buy it, sadly. Yeah I'm not a hardcore fan to that stage yet. But the official guide hmmm....
~*~
Today we had a special ACAN tutorial where Issac tell us his life story from pri1 to comic artist to 3D animator to lecturer while having an Engineering Diploma and his masters on 3D later. Makes me wonder what am I gona do with my life after graduation, am I going to continue with Multimedia?
Am I on the right bus?
Actually I'm quite happy with these 3 years in SP la, it is my first choice course after all. No regrets! We shall see when the time comes.

Reminiscing
I suddenly feel like clicking my old blog to read what I've did during my year 1. Anddddd.. I REALISE I HAVE A NEWTYPE MAGAZINE! Can't believe I forgot I ever owned 1 and it's just on my shelf still covered with the Kinokuniya plastic bag. Love those japanese anime magazine, the colours are always so pretty, just a pity that I can't read it.

05 Nov issue of Newtype
I remember I bought this because Athrun & Kira's on the cover! Used to be so crazy about Gundam SEED. And I get SO excited when people talk to me about shows I've watched.
My posts were all so wordy back then! The longest rave post I wrote was actually on "Shiroi Kyoto" with a total of 1003 words. It's nice I wrote down how affected I was by the show, now that I read it, I can still remember what happened. My recent "HERO" post is only like 766 words? Argh I shouldn't have delayed writing my post Hero thoughts. If I were to compare these 2 shows which one I liked better, I can't really give an answer based on what I just read on Shiroi Kyoto. ^^"
It's titled Boundless Regret
Life seems to be so much more interesting when I'm younger.
But I know I'll look back in the future and maybe think again my life's more interesting this final year. Hmm.
***
Anyway! Today ACAN's lecture Issac talked about character animation which turned out to be quite interesting. It's about these 3 minds that each human being has.
If you get so angry it affects your day later when somebody cuts your queue or get emotional often. You're probably have a huge portion of "the feeling mind" If you buy things on impulse with the mindset "It's damn cool! Aiya buy first then say la" You're more of the wanting mind person.
I definitely have more of the thinking mind I guess, I've never cried in any sad movie/dramas/anything fiction before, I think of it's practicality before I buy things. Actually I'm so neutral most of the time, I think I lack emotions. o.O

Thinking mind- rational thinking, look for reasons
Feeling mind - People who often follow their emotions
Wanting mind - Determined people to get what they want.

Not some sob story
This past week we've been busy working on our ADVA(Flash) Assignment..
[Just starting off with this statement reminds me of the logsheet I have to write every Sunday on what we've done for the week! ] We stayed overnight at Pang's house to do and in the school lab from 8 to 6! Everyday reach home wana sleep already. If I were to do this at home I doubt I'd be able to complete this as fast.
Then weekends I got to go Gekpoh and BB CO. It actually makes my Sats more fun cos can go out

Speaking of co..
SPCO is having our annual concert at Singapore Conference Hall. Tickets are priced at $12.
Come support leh! Help me buy tickets! :3

I'm pretty sure this concert will be better than the last one. I'm just slightly worried about our qizhou though but I'm sure it'd be better than the last one too ^^"
I'm realllllly relieved I have this bunch of adorable juniors right now if not seriously I don't know what I'm gona do. Thanks for coming SPCO ;)
I can still remember the first day I stepped into SPCO room. Yinzhi was playing erhu at the staircase, Leng was playing tonghua outside co room. I was impressed with their playing. After they graduated, we went through alot of hardships when it came down to just me and Veron left, wondering why they had to leave. How I struggled that horrible holidays period when she went away for internship and I had to face the teacher alone, go for dazu myself. What's worse was I don't know how to play and Mr Lee had to ask me play again and again till I get it. I'm very bad at counting beats. Every Wednesday I leave co feeling depressed but I feel I can't give up. Anyway I'm glad the worst is over now.

On the positive side, I got to meet people that I know we'll be friends for a long time =) and I'm definitely learnt alot of things.
UH.. I didn't mean this entry to become like some sob story. I'm happy now! Just that
I'll miss coming down on Weds after I've grad. I'll miss school too!

Procrastinate somemore
*Here goes the gatsby commercial again! =D*
This is it.
I shall take up proper japanese classes after I graduate.
I had enough googling translations for lyrics to no results, watching videos I wana watch so bad but don't understand, trying to look for info in English to no avail.
I need to make a trip down to Kinokuniya man. I'm thinking of buying the Hero Official guide but when I think of having the book and not able to read it...... that is torture!
I happened to chance upon a blog mentioning there's a life size stand of Kuryu Kohei there! D=
There's another one at IMM I saw last week and of course I took a picture of it. ^^

Anyway yesterday I went to GekPoh with XZ and KX again. Then after prac we headed down to Outram and ate this:

bean paste fish head
I was very amused by the $4 watercress soup that's big enough for 3 people. Cheap and nice!
Why do weekends pass so fast.. =.=
I've been procrastinating to do any school work since I came home from BBCC x hours ago.
...Okok. I shall start by writing my log sheet! =D

Best friend Best friend taisetsu na hito
I first heard this after randomly ransacking the internet for smap songs. The melody got stuck in my head because it's so catchy! and I was abit touched when I watch them sing this as their 6th member was leaving the band. Best friends indeed.
This version's with the 5 of them now some years later perhaps? I realise each of them have more solo parts after Mori left or something. They seem to sing together most of the time in the older songs.
I have trouble finding translations again. =.=
Why do I always like songs of a different language.
This blog's like becoming an interest board. ^^"

Fangirling
You know I was wondering if fangirling was ever a module of my course I think I'd score a distinction in it. The Assignments would be like do a presentation of your favourite idol/drama/movie/anime or write a review on why you like it! I'd love to do that, I'll probably start writing away right now. =D
I was reading articles on SMAP then came across more Johnny groups like Tackey & Tsubasa, Arashi, Kat-tun, NEWS etc. And I'm like kinda curious to know more now seeing there's quite a big fandom for them. XD I can imagine myself long-term fangirling about a particular group or something.
There's like so many dramas and shows I wana watch! But I'm like restricting myself to watch after my assignments are done. If the series is good, high chances are I'll be so hooked to it that I can't do anything until I finish that show. So I better not get hooked to any for now, I'll be SO SOOOOO distracted. Actually I'm already quite distracted by HERO which led on to Kimutaku and SMAP for now. I've been googling for their articles everyday since.. last week. o.O
You know, fangirling would be much more fun if I could read Japanese or I live in Japan where all these idols are. I would have NO PROBLEM looking for official anime merchandise, don't have to wait for subs, don't have to get 2nd hand information translated from japanese sites, watch SMAPxSMAP every week, all the supercool variety shows, dramas and the animes! Who knows maybe I'd bump into Takuya Kimura on the streets if I lived in Japan! D= ~~~~
I can carry on day-dreaming. xD
Anyway we had a great shoot today! The weather was fine and it seems our talents got along with each other quite well ^^ I'm glad we have such fun, outgoing talents! Good job people! Oops that's Brenden's line. haha.
After all that, actually I don't feel tired at all =D
I can carry on day-dreaming. xD

Post-Hero thoughts
I probably seem a litttttttle crazy obsessed with a fictional drama like this but it is rare that I have such drive to write something as lengthy as this. I'd probably be even more happy if this were some kind of a movie review assignment. o.O
So.. I finally watched the movie on Sunday and there wasn't anything disappointing, it even exceeded my expectations!
I am so SO overwhelmed by the movie, I don't even feel like watching LOST later. (This line was written after I got home from the movie)
It felt just like the drama, the same style with the same good old characters! There's some follow up where the last episode left off and references from the special. So it'd be good if you watched the special before the movie. They kept the same style of opening sequence [the whole cast standing in a line at a park] and ending sequence [black and white shots from the show itself.] If you watched the drama before this, I'm sure you'd feel more for the characters in the movie.

The Man!
My love for "Hero" now is more than just Kimutaku being Kuryu Kohei [Probably the most charismatic male character ever created in dorama history? D= ] , good group dynamics and chemistry between the characters, there's one more I'd like to add: The direction of the movie! I love the camera angles!
Direction of the show
I'm not exactly a very sensitive person looking out for good camera angles/lighting/technical what nots because most of the time, I'm too engrossed in the story to pay attention to such things. I watched the drama in low quality sadly, but some shots did catch my eye. This time, I paid attention to it and it's this exact direction style that made me love this series more than most other shows I've watched.
I totally love shots like this! The camera is placed outside the lift and then slowly one by one, everyone enters the frame, greets each other and we get this shot of everyone's sian face like damn it's another day at work.

The"Sian, I'm going to work look".
I also realised they like to do alot of cuts of 2 events happening at the same time, very obvious foreshadowing so much so that I was wondering what's gona happen with that more than what the character's doing, and alot of overhead shots of the office. Ah.. it's hard to talk about it without screenshots. So these are the dramatic shots I thought were interesting.
Soundtrack
They re-used the soundtrack! There were alot of familiar tunes from the drama that appeared in the movie and I was thrilled to hear them again. Ah I'm very bad at describing music. It's definitely nice.
Romance
For the romance side, let's just say I like shows that are happy. Though the romance part is kind of subtle throughout the series, there's no parent issues! no emo! no angst over past relationship issues! no-main-char-gets-terminal-disease issues! no evil third parties! This's the beauty of j-dramas. [This explains why Nodame Cantabile's one of my most favourite dramas too]

I see chemistry~
Minus points
To be honest, there are some negative points in the show.
Some parts of the story are quite exaggerated actually. For example: Who would look for those hundreds over people in the photos, just for a chance that someone might took a picture of the suspect. And they did ask each and everyone who is in the photo. Only Kuryu and his gang I guess. But that's needed to dramatically show even though they appear nonchalant, deep down they're all concerned and willing to help. So I'm going to look past those unrealistic bits. xD
There were actually some parts that I found draggy. The case was quite confusing to understand at first as it seems to involve so many people but it gets better as the story goes on. I didn't expect some characters from the special to appear again, yeah I thought that little follow up was a bit hmmm.. unnecessary?
Overall

Nice shot!
This movie was more made for the fans because everytime the characters do something related to what they've did in the drama I was going KYAAAAAA. AWWWW.
Anyway I think Hero has a very universal theme that everyone can relate to, especially the office life part in the show. Though it's considered quite a simple story that's actually typical. But quirky characters, good directing, splendid acting and unique soundtrack made it so enjoyable watching, I'm willing to give it another go again ;)

Focus
Yes I've finally watched the movie!
I had a huge adrenaline rush to post my "post-HERO-movie thoughts" after I got home. The movie was THAT GOOD.
But i've gotta prepare for tomorrow's shoot, write my logsheet, watch the 2nd last episode of Lost on tv @ 11.30pm. Now that I'm finally done with these, I've temporary lost that adrenaline rush and feels sleepy.
Anyway yesterday I'm happy that Xingzuan and Kaixian drove me to GekPoh for practice [tho it turns out there isn't pract]and drove me home after dinner and some walkwalkseesee, considering they stay at the east and has no idea where my house is. ^^
As for today, I went BB for pract and after that headed to Plaza Sing for the highly anticipated movie that I've been wanting to watch since Sep: Hero ^^'
I'll do a post movie post asap once I have the time. I need to rave about it badly!

Hero gush!

I'm sure you must have seen similar posters like this somewhere. It's posted everywhere! I remember one day in October when I alighted from the mrt, taking the escalator down as usual when I saw THIS poster! The inner fangirl in me squeeeeeed, HERO is finally coming to Singapore! By the way, this above shot was screencapped from the official Hero site.
But I was abit disappointed they chose to take this shot to paste around, I'm sure there's gotta be a better promotional pictures around! [you know.. kimutaku centric kinds] It does look kinda boring with so many faces, especially to people who haven't see the drama. Then I saw this:

What a dashing lead! ^^
If you're planning to watch Hero, you might wana catch this to understand further ^^
Channel U is showing HERO SP[special] tomorrow! @ 7.30pm. That's the prequel for the movie. It's basically a set up for the upcoming movie. But it's not very important to watch this before the movie because the cast for the special is entirely different from the movie. It's not as good as the drama but still not too bad.

A little history on the special: Kuryu got transfered from the Josai public prosecutor office to a countryside branch. So this special is focusing on what happened during his stay at this countryside branch andddddddddd in the end he finally gets transfer back to Josai! So that's where the movie's gona start on~ It's also a sequel to the drama, which I hope they'll give a proper ending to Kuryu and Amamiya's romance.
About the drama:
To date back, Hero was a drama aired in 2001 that broke rating charts hiting an average of 34.5% of viewership in Japan. And the movie was #1 box office in Japan for 7 consecutive weeks.

I'm not only excited because Takuya Kimura is acting in it, [The guy in the gatsby ad in case you're wondering] [But that's a bonus point of course! He's voted the most popular male idol in Japan for freaking 14 consecutive years! If some other guy took on Kuryu Kohei's role, it might not have been as charismatic xD ok back to story..]
But because the series had very good people dynamics, especially office relations. Every character has some unique personality. [I'm talking based on what I've watched for the drama] Even some of the camera angles caught my attention. I had a post talking about the drama in Sep. It's not just about prosecuting the criminals, it's funny at the same time when Kuryu buys a product from TV Media[The main char has a fetish of buying products on tv] or the man at the bar cooks up whatever the characters ordered.
I think I have very high expectations for this movie having seen the drama, and I certainly hope it doesn't disappoints me!

Karma
I believe it's karma. I strongly felt it before.
Today's another good example, we were rendering, almost done with our ACAN when we wana transfer files from my ipod but Blennden accidentally remove the Ipod. He hit the computer in frustration leading to a com crash and all our files are gone. My rendered files all gone! Luckily I saved my max files before lunch so I can render them again.
It's damn funny how he reacted after that. haha.
It's more of funny how this karma hit us, [the guys have a tendency of using some violence when frustrated] than woe over the files lost.
Anyway it feels great to be sitting in the lab with all the other groups chionging the same assignment together. We stayed in T2032 from freaking 9am to 8pm! It's actually a good feeling I'll miss when I graduate.

speak LOUDER
I HAVE A SOFT VOICE.
Actually this's been bothering since .. ok I've always known my voice is soft. There are alot of times when people didn't hear when I actually said something. And I feel like great, my voice didn't reach out to them again. Ouch.
I'm quite sad to hear this comment again for the nth time.
I did tried to speak up! But maybe it just diminished as the sentences get long.
Actually I wasn't very nervous while waiting for my turn. I was more nervous about my "on the spot sentence structuring", knowing my spoken English isn't very good because I'm too used to speaking Chinese.
I'm saying as though I did very bad for my presentation but nola, because the only bad point they mentioned about the presentation was: Huiling, you can speak up more. Damn it.
Overall we did Very good. Very focus. ^^
Because my teammates are all so good at whatever they're doing, I'm actually stress that I'm not good enough.
***
Today Yinzhi sat beside me during Combine. I was quite distracted playing because he plays so well! I was paying more attention to his playing than my playing. He seems to do it so easily, sliding the fingers changing the position and all. I must motivate myself to practise more.
Oh and I've been feeling quite guilty about BBCO, I haven't been going there since Sep? And their concert is coming. Somehow I just don't have the motivation to go and there's not many people I can talk to over there.
Hero is coming out next Thursday! Ain't anyone around me excited or interested at all? The movie hit #1 in Japan's box office for 7 weeks! I wana make a post about it before the movie comes out, I've been wanting to do it since yesterday!

10mins break

Interim is this coming Wed, ACAN is due after Interim, there's GEM test tomorrow and we still have shooting tomorrow.

D=
I just cannot sit by my com staring at the 3Ds Max interface animating without wandering off to sleeping/eating/ blogging/ surfing net/ msn/ read magazines about 10 to x minutes later. Now is a good example. I've got short attention span eh. Actually there's times when I enjoyed animating that is if I sucessfully completed what I want. But most of the time it's damn tedious to the point of loathesome.
I better get back now..
Edit: lol I even had a dream that my lecturers were after my ACAN when it's not even half done while napping. I must feel motivated now!

To recap..
So in a twitch of an eye, e learning has passed and it's now week 7. It's probably more filming and preparation for the interim next week AND argh ACAN. During the practical test, I spent almost an hour trying to make bip01 drop to the floor but it just keeps affecting the previous frames that I've done properly. I even press F1 for help. Dang. Now that I finally know why, I nearly got it but I thought the keyframe looked weird so I undo. -.-
Anyway we've been filming and filming for the past week, getting up as early as 7 to head over Nico's house at Novena~ Actually it's worse for the guys because they gotta lug the equipment all the way there. But nevermind we can trolley them now =D
On one of my regular trips to the toilet at school, my phone apparently slipped out of my pocket when I was squating down and it went into the toilet bowl -.-'' It took me a few seconds to react whether to take it out from the bowl and goodness I was planning to shit. The interface was still working after I've dried it, just that the buttons were spoiled. Now it's completely dead. But nevermind I got a new phone instead =D
To end off the week, I had a sumptuous japanese meal @ Ikoi Restaurant with the SPCO gang to celebrate Samuel's birthday.

Le parapluie again
Ah.. I'm currently very hooked on "The Magicians of Love, 爱情魔发师" that's showing on Channel U every Friday 1130pm. I'm a sucker for these kind of dramas- pretty characters, fashion related, sweet romance.
And rain scenes! [By the way it's raining now and that makes me feel motivated to stay awake a while longer enjoying peaceful music typing this when I gotta wake up at 8 tomorrow =.=]
I have a fetish for scenes where the dashing male lead chases after the female lead with a transparent umbrella under the heavy rain! Note: Transparent umbrellas. And yes there's a scene like this in "The Magicians of Love"
I've always wondered where in the world did they get a transparent umbrella! I don't see them selling anywhere and the people in dramas always like to use it! The first time when I really noticed this transparent umbrella was when I was watching Hero(drama) and Kuryu Kohei[Takuya Kimura] was holding it. It wasn't exactly a romantic scene when he was holding it but I thought that umbrella was really pretty because you can see through and catch the raindrops falling onto the umbrella. I'd really like to own one and try walking it under the rain myself ^^
One of the movies that I really like for umbrella scenes is "Turn left Turn right, 向左走向右走" That's the first movie that came to mind when I think of umbrella. Big Green and Red umbrellas.. while green and red reminds me of yet another movie: Amelie. I believe there's rain scenes in there too though not very significant. ^^"
Anyway we've finally begun our production stage. I've been busy shooting for the past week. Seriously there's so many risks that we didnt expect like talent getting sick, talent's schedule cannot make it, loan equipment issues, so many things. Hopefully we can get pass this production stage successfully and proceed onto other things such as my ACAN (animation)assignment =.=

Nana raves
I haven't talked about anime since... I can't really remember anyway.
I've been reading the NANA manga recently till I finished the last released chapter last weekend. After that I don't know what's gona keep me interested by the computer anymore. [Other than msn, some forum reading, bloghopping, Gundam00 and an ep of Avatar the Last Airbender maybe] But they're just my daily habits. ^^" Ohya school work too.
I wana read more of Yazawa Ai's works! I was pretty much in a Nana/Paradise Kiss mood and don't really feel like digesting anything new. There was a part when I thought the plot's gona go downhill when something typically dramatic in any dramas appears in the story. Spoiler: [Nana's mother who abandoned Nana was found and like zomg what will happen when Nana knows her mother is alive and has a new happy family] But to my surprise, it sorta led to an even more unexpected twist for such drama things. Bigger spoiler: [Her mother left her new family]

A very cool poster of the Black Stones!
As for the date, that's the single release date mentioned in the manga

Pretty Trapnest!
Anyway Nana's generally about the lives, relationships that revolve around 2 bands: Trapnest and Black Stones.. And of course the 2 women both named Nana.
As much as I love Nana, I love Paradise Kiss too for its charismatic main character Jouji!
What I like about Yazawa Ai's stories are that her characters are close to life, wears funky clothes and most importantly they're STYLE! I think I started having a fetish for keys beacause of Nana. ^^"
Most importantly they have depth. Very strong depth. Not just the main characters, but the side characters too. Each of them has a relation be it friendship or love, it's very strongly felt when you read/watch it, even though much of how it's portrayed could be just daily doings.
There's 2 movies already and an anime that's as good as the manga, plus songs "from the bands" out! Go watch if you haven't already!
Ok I'm satisfied with raving now =D

Brainblock
- Like you thought of something exciting in your head and then your head transfers this "idea" to your mouth, but whatever came out turns out to be crap? Or something not worth saying in the end.
- Like "The thought section" of your head says: Ok, I understand how it goes. But executing the thought to words section failed to transmit that information correctly.
- Like "The emotion section" of your head says: I am feeling xxxx now, I wana write a lengthy post describing it now. But you end up writing some corny sentences like: I just feel xxxx now.
Or it's just, I'm bad at expressing or rather.. articulating. [ah yes this's the word]
Actually I wanted to write more.. Oh well..

Choose one
Would YOU rather be stuck in lines of codes, thinking hard how to code a particular function, brainblocked, staring at the screen helpless for x hours
OR
Stuck at animating, as the bones move the way you don't want them to, while you stare at the 3Ds Max interface frustrated, adjusting them again and again, not sure whether you'd mess everything up. Then you see in the top viewport, your character went out of position because you've been looking at the left viewport! And you had to start over, after animating 70 frames. That's not even 3 seconds of animation yet. And I was only trying to make it walk properly.
What about jumping, racing, *insert actions here*, facial expressions.............

Project Talent Scouting
Fresh donuts on Friday morning brought to us all the way from Raffles City by our beloved boys- Brenden and Jeremy! ^^
Doing a video project, there's always issues like location, technical problems or what not, but most important of all, a film can't be done without talents! I'm sure it's a common issue among us students doing video la. There's no budget given to us, if not we could pay them! [and I'm sure more people would be interested] and none of us is that rich. We could resolve this by taking the acting role ourselves / sacrifice the story a little / cut off certain characters maybe, but this time we're talking about FYP leh. Final Year Project. Not just any amateur video assignment thing.
We've been asking people to act, friends whom I havent spoken to for years, friends I don't usually speak to.. though feeling a little bad that the first time I'm saying hello since so long, is to get help from them, I'm touched some were willing to help. We're still looking for people so if you're interested you can tell me! =D
Other than doing FYP, last Sat went out with Garcia to do a little shopping =D Well I was bored and I just wanted to go out...
It's a Wednesday today and I have no lessons, there's no practice either. Damn sian staying at home now, probably gona do ACAN later...

Earworms
Earworm, a loan translation of the German Ohrwurm, is a term for a song stuck in
one's head.
You know how after a long day of combine practice, sometimes one of the songs'll just keep playing them in your head, especially new songs. I had "nan dao a li lang" in my head for quite a while after we first tried playing it a few Wednesdays ago.
Tiersen's songs are great company while walking home! Crispy clear when the streets are quiet. You know how frustrating it is to want to play a song you have in mind when you're seated in front of a pretty keyboard, and yet you can't play it! Well you probably guessed I was desperately trying to play something Tiersen. I only managed a few notes of La valse de Amelie =.= It'd be so totally cool if anybody could play his songs on the piano.. or any other instrument! Oh and I've finally got the translated lyrics for Le Parapluie thanks to Merv. Geez I've been constantly playing Tiersen's songs since last week. Ok enough about songs ^^"
It's been a while since I went Redhill to eat! The last time I went with the SPCO people I remember I had this peanut squid porridge that was so heavenly good[maybe I was too hungry then xD], I went there in the day for lunch during my internship. haha. But it tasted so drastically different in the day it's as though like another stall already, even the menu's different. But I remember exactly, it is that stall! Tonight I went there again, turns out another menu covers the day menu, managed by different people and they probably only operate at night. ^^" Their Chee Cheong Fun's not bad too =)

Le parapluie
Can't believe I heard Yann Tiersen's "Comptine d'un autre été: l'après midi" played over at the tv when I just double clicked "Le parapluie" on my playlist! Turns out they used it for the "te xie" advert.
I'm recently into French music, Yann Tiersen's music. With thanks from WJ, I'm enjoying Le parapluie, and other tracks from YT. Most of his creations are instrumentals and there are some songs with voice too, but sadly I can't find any English translation of it :/ Seriously, I like almost all of his music. It's melodic and slowly grows on you. I especially like his piano and accordion pieces.
La Démarche gives me the image of a few kids splashing water, running around a fountain located in a town's centre, in black and white. Or I start to feel my prescene walking in a street full of people. Hmm.. could be the Amelie influence. Haha. I especially like playing it when I'm walking.
So far I only know Le parapluie means "The Umbrella". I've been ransacking the internet for the song's translation in English but to no avail. I like the voice and the female voice that comes later near the end, surely what they're singing ought to mean something? Ah I wana find out...

A little Drama Talk
I just finished watching "Nobuta wo Produce" recently and it left me quite a number of impressions. Now thinking back I wished I didn't watch it all in 2 days, tendency is I'd forget much about it. Damn I'd prefer if I watched on a weekly basis cos I'd savour it slower. But anyway..
It touched me and made me think about what I've been doing. Made me wana become a better person kind of feeling, help out, get involve in more activities ... It's a high school drama about friendship, I'm sure most people can relate to it like I did.
I've been in Nobuta's shoes before but thankfully not as bad as her's. I guess in the end we're all just afraid to be neglected in this world and hopefully seek solace from friends. Even if it's just 1 friend who's willing listen, it'll do.

Ah.. this's all I can cough up cos I can't recollect what I felt after I finished it yesterday :/
Though it sounds a little corny, thanks to all the people who listened when I needed an ear, whether I was feeling bored on msn, emotional or even ridiculous. Thank you for being a friend. =)

School
One of the things I realised when I was doing my project : My English has deproved quite tremendously. I can't string sentences very well when I'm needed to type a report on the spot, for instance. Lack of vocabulary, don't know how to phrase what I wana write down etc. Ok, maybe it's not that bad when it comes to blogging.
ITP has started for the peeps in the other stage. Hearing them talk about ITP reminds me how much I missed school while I was in my internship last semester. I had "I miss school" in my MSN nick, even our class photo as wallpaper on the office's desktop. [Of course I removed it after I left] So all the more I should enjoy what I'm doing now- being at school, rushing projects and assignments, eating at the local foodcourts and just hanging around with my mates. It is afterall our final lap and we're the last batch of DMMT! It's ironic how you miss school when you're not schooling, and when school starts, you get sian.. well sometimes. xD
After 3 years in SP, there's still about 2 stalls in FC6 that I haven't tried; and for the first time I ate chicken rice in FC2! Haha. It's good and only $1.50! I quite like it better than the one in FC6. :X
Oh well, all the best to fellow coursemates either doing their FYP or having their ITP now. =)

Heh Nugget!
School has finally started yet again, my last semester in SP. It doesn't really feel like school to me now because most of the time I'm roaming around the level 3 com labs [T2035 is best!] to do our FYP, well maybe except the first day.
The first day I had my GEM with Pang and Nico.. and Huiying! By coincidence we took the same GEM, my sec school co junior. She's grown pretty sociable now eh ;) After that was ACAN practical then a short while later we had a talk from the people in Lucasfilm Animation Singapore! How fun it'd be if I could work in studios like Pixar or Studio Ghibli! But my animation kinda sucks la, especially modelling. I'd stone there most of the time trying to figure what to do with the polygon man. 3Ds Max's intimidating!
Finally it was lunch time and we had our favourite local FC6 chicken rice! Saw familiar faces here and there and new faces .. We had a little birthday surprise for Caiying and Xuejia ;) Till here I thought, great! school's just like before. After that it's like you're on your own, whether you wana do FYP or go home.
You walk around in school, see your fellow coursemates/friends in the lvl3 benches, various com labs, library but you don't know what they're doing. It's no longer go around with class, rush assignments together, walk around the lab and see they're rushing the same assignment as you are. It's even free period throughout the whole day sometimes. You can choose to sleep at home if you want to, you're on your own. Feel less motivated with all this freedom, it's quite like having internship like that, just that you're working with people comfortable with and familiar environment.
For us it's been work, nuggets(food) , work, nuggets, work, nuggets for these few days. I ate freaking 5 times today. 1 breakfast, 3 lunches at school - nasi lemak, prawn mee, fun choi and lastly dinner at home. With the guys getting hungry a few hours after each meal and egging behind:
"南道阿里郎" 's been stuck in my head like a earworm since Wednesday! That rhythmn!

The Last week of Hols
Had a busy week this last week of hols. There's meet-ups, outings, chalet and performance. All of which I enjoyed very much :)
Yesterday's performance's one of the riskier ones yet! haha. :x But managed to "hun guo qu" I guess. ^^" I've found some more fellowrare species of the same kind! Yishan surprised me when she told me she likes totoro and watches other Miyazaki's films. And there's Merv who knows who's Joe Hisaishi! haha. Yes! All in my section, we can all discuss films together! muahahaha :x

After that went to hang out with Xingzuan and Kaixian. We had our dinner at Thai Express and I listen to gossips before we went to catch "Underdog". We had the tomyam steamboat and it was so hot[to me la I don't eat spicy food] I had 4 glasses of water! Underdog's okay with it's funny elements. Overall quite an enjoyable film nevertheless.

------------------------------------
Ohya I haven't talk about chalet! We had 8 people: Me, Jia, Ama, Hua, Pang, Cai, Wan and Lailai haha.
First day: We had BBQ, then we all went to catch the 7pm and 9pm show while bbq-ing! Later at night we watched "Take the Lead" and played Jia's Lordo[Cluedo] and Lorboo[Taboo]. haha.
Second day: We slept till about 12 plus then had our breakfast at the nearby food court. Afterwhich we headed to the arcade for more fun, and we did pedicure/manicure. Then we had surprise visitors: Jean and Weilong who brought cake to surprise Amy. Happy Birthday Amy! It's Swensen's ice cream cake lor ;) That day eat alot of unhealthy food, I had 3 ice creams-Mac's Ben & Jerry's and that Ice cream cake la! For dinner we just eat potato chips, mamee and seaweed. At night we played somemore games on the PS until they all starting like wana sleep already. Then me, Jia and Pang sang songs all the way from 2.30 to about 5am while lying on the bed. We sang songs from chinese pop songs to TV opening songs to powerpuff girls to japanese dramas to DDR's songs. Damn funny. Afterwhich we had breakfast at Mac..
Third Day: Pack up and leave ^^
------------------------------------
WJ was asking me whether I was looking forward to our last semester...
Just find it amusing I'm looking forward to school because I wana see familiar faces again, walk by familiar corridors and smell the familiar com lab scent. o.O I miss schoool! [This is probably the nth time I'm talking about this :x] Yay school's reopening tomorrow =D!

Random Reminisce
School's reopening soon, was kinda looking forward to it till the timetable came out...
The class's split again. :/ This semester gona only take like 3 modules and 1 fyp, I must be crazy to miss those sardine packed timetables too haha! More modules got more varieties ma. haha.
Dreading school because it's a day sooner to graduation.
I miss those days during Storyboarding & Scriptwriting when Jeanine/Mr Lau showed us films during lessons. Now it's called STSB instead of STSC. Bah. It's still my favourite module! Oh and Leon's GDIT lessons too, those photoshop practicals. I like the classrooms in T20 1st floor best, carpeted and comfortable.
All my classmates, lecturers who made my stay at school happy. haha. Without these people I doubt I'll enjoy school this much.
I talk like this's my last day of school already. ^^"
Anyway I'm gona go on chalet for the next 3 days, I'll miss pointless Msn convers ;)

Mostly Film talk
I actually wanted to talk about today but my head's in a mood of Hayao Miyazaki's films + Joe Hisaishi's music + the sho totoro keychain I just bought from IMM. There's a studio ghibli approved sticker behind it! I'm happy :D

Anyway we had a small performance at Hougang mall.. And I feel a bit guilty I didn't help take one of the music stands home. Gomen ne. ^^"
After that I sat with Wenna at the Somerset platform then off to meet Jasm for a little jaded shopping trip. Why jaded hmm, by that time I was probably too tired so nothing much got my interest?I think I'm getting more jaded with things with each passing day maybe except watching good films
*Film talk starts*-----------------------------------
I've been borrowing Studio Ghibli's or rather Hayao Miyazaki's films from the school library whenever I go for practice on Weds. It all started when I was at the library and then Jx found Totoro comics and so being bored I start to read them... and it amused me. Then I decided to borrow the movie from the school library since they have it. After that I just feel I gotta watch more of his films. [Since it's holidays now]
The story is really very simple but somehow I just can't forget about it. The 3 totoros and the nekobus especially. Maybe it's because the story is just too simple and so makes the (non-human) characters stand out? There's another thing about these characters, the "little creatures" that appear in most of Hayao Miyazaki's films. Their roles in the show's somewhat ambiguous sometimes, they just appear out of nowhere, give you a little surprise, maybe joins the main character along the way and then does their thing.
Another thing about these films is their animation quality. The little movements and details makes the story all the more sweeter. Last but not least the music composed by Joe Hisaishi, they have beautiful orchestral melodies.
I've only watched 4 titles so far but anyway I like Howl's Moving Castle best for now, for the animation and story. I didn't quite get the last part but doesn't matter. [The main character's voiced by Takuya Kimura! *Gasps*] I think I can go on and on on why I liked it but I better stop for now ^^"

It was Freaking Friday
Ah..
To think I was so free this week that I even "celebrated" Pointless Thursday with Kat the day before because we did nothing useful on that day. I played games/sleep/eat/tv.
Today's freaking Friday because at least I went out. Need to go out. So I chilled with J and K under the cloudy sky on a random bench at a so called park near Jurong Point. And.. I spreaded "arcade love" o.O ha!
I can't blog anymore I need to wake up at7 8 tomorrow. =.=
Edit: I was looking at my timetable and sian to see I've got 2 8am classes which means I have to wake up at 7 until I thought I had to wake up at 7 today for the performance. I could sleep till 8 actually. -.-

Remember Athy?

Athrun with his "The future when he looks" face, his hair swaying in the air. I think there's no wind though, his clothes look still. Or maybe they're tight fit. In other words this is a picture to show Athy's prettttty hairrr. D=
No no! That's not the point of this post! I'm just inspired to make a fangirl-like post after reading coughPotternutscough.. ahem a friend's hobby post somewhere on the internet. I seem to have shorter "interest span" as I'm growing up, I feel. The last time I'm having a crazy spasm of anything I like was Pirates of the Carribbean: at World's End and a short period of Code Geass too. What I mean by "fangirlism/crazy spasm of something I like" = Digging up, reading all the information you can find about that something, Browse wikipedia, feel excited, Lurk around forums/communities for latest news, Hunt large resolutions pictures of your favourite characters, Buy related merchandise, Loop its soundtrack several times in a week or day, declare xday my favourite day of the week because there's an episode of xxx and camp at forums waiting for people to talk about it x time before xxx series's x episode airs. [Ok some I don't really do now for example the last statement xD] They do sound a little exaggerated, but you get what I mean right ^^
Anyway.. How long has it been since I last raved about Athrun Zala, my used to be obsession in the past. How long did it last? Since 2004 when I was watching Gundam Seed while mugging for my O levels guiltily all the way to 2006 maybe? Till Gundam Seed Destiny ended. And why why why do I like this emo machine who has blue semi-long hairlike a girl's. I have no idea. [Though I think it started because of the Fllay thing and I started to divert my "favourite character" from Kira to Athrun] I've dedicated Birthday posts to him, drew sketches of him, his figurine's still just beside my moniter =D [I remember I was so happy when I got it randomly from all the plastic haros]
Ah.. just trying to say I miss this adrenaline rush, this passion for things. I still have recent favourite idols, dramas, movies, animes and stuffs just that I don't go dig as deep as I used to before for my favourite things and.. I kinda miss that.

This is a thought generated post
Somehow I've been having arcade urges since I tried DDR with Ali on Mon. Oh man.. I don't know, must be the thrill of hitting the arrows with my feet o.O
Now I'm wondering what I'm blogging for, to let others know what I've been doing? Record down big events so I can read through them later in my life? Rave about the latest movie I've just watched? Or just put my thoughts down in words. [Which I think I don't do much often]
Today while going home, I made sure I looked at the signs to double check I was on the right train. [Because I had an experience boarding the opposite train, resulting in missing the last train home] Unzipped my bag to find out my Ipod has been running for x time, and battery's low. zz
Raised my hands and still feeling the muscle aches from playing Basketball on Thurs.
I suddenly decided I want to train Ashe and Penelo because I was bored yesterday night and they gained 2 levels- lvl32. No, I still don't like FF12 very much.
Craved dinner after watching Ratatouille, the 3D food looks appetising.
Watched Evan Almighty with not very high expectations because of the reviews I've read but anyway still enjoyed it to a certain extent. I was wondering how they get all those animals to act.
Time for bed.

I had fun
Yesterday I spent my day slacking at the JE library along with Kets, [while Jx and Ali were supposed to be studying =p] I actually finish reading 1 book so it ain't exactly considered as slacking... And that was Tuesdays with Morrie. There were freaking 25 copies on the shelves of Jurong Regional library, so go grab them to read if you haven't ;)
Some of the topics mentioned felt close to heart, that's why I can't stop reading it. There was a point where he talked about windows and I automatically turned my head to look outside the glass panel where I was half sitting/lying on. The sky was dark, clouds were moving and the world is spinning. There was also a lesson on the fear of aging and then I'm suddenly reminded of my previous post.
Anyway after that we went off for dinner @ Zingdo, chatted for a while and last but not least visit the arcade. =D It's been a while since I had so much fun.

[We got separate to 4 different classes hence the label]

As for today, I finally met Amy after not seeing her for about 2 weeks plus! We headed to Vivo, walked, ate pasta, chatted and listened to songs on the way home...
Other than outings, I've been watching not the English Heroes but HERO! The one starring Takuya Kimura. I was browsing the I-weekly as usual then I chanced an article about the upcoming HERO movie sequel to the 2001 hit drama. Then it roused my curiousity to go take a look at the drama. Its bascially about the job of prosecutors and the "new" prosecutor Kuryu Kohei walks into their office about to make a change their lives.
Sounds like a typical detective drama but hey it's not just that! The way it's filmed I'd say. I like the in-between transitions betweens scenes, how it's presented. They create suspense! How the wide shot shows table seated with the prosecutors and it often ends with everyone leaving the chair and into their offices banging the doors behind them. [Can't find a pic of the office] Or a slow zoom in, frame by frame to the office door and then somebody comes out of the room. The camera angles and everything I like. And of course the plot, the groovy retro like background music even the side characters!

It's been a while since I watch something I enjoy this good ;) Though it's made in 2001, you can catch the movie coming to our shores this coming November =D

"Aging is not just decay, you know. It's growth. It's more than the negativeAh. I shan't feel old anymore ^^
that you're going to die, it's also the positive that you understand you're
going to die, and that you live a better life because of it."
"You know what that reflects? Unsatisfied lives. Unfulfilled lives. Lives that haven't
found meaning. Because if you've found meaning in your life, you don't want to
go back. You want to go forward. You want to see more, do more. You can't wait
until sixty-five."

blah blah blah
Did I mention I don't like holidays? I mean long ones like this. I'm missing my busy life at school/work, when I thought I was feeling exhausted just a few days ago. o.O
I'm now finding myself stuck at what else am I gona write about because I wana go on and I've got nothing in my head...
People around me have been saying, I'm getting old, I'm getting old. Are we at the end of our youth already? Because we're reaching the digit 2? Actually these 10 years have been long ain't it? From 10 to 19 years old, most of us have been through 3 schools, met lots of people, made friends be it good friends, best friends, gain experiences, grew up, matured. So what's waiting ahead in the next 10 years of being into the twenties? Work? Money? Love? Marriage? Definitely not as fun as school days eh? You'd feel more jaded, less energetic. Maybe I'm starting to feel jaded already. Can't say I'm eagerly waiting for this next stage of life to come, but whatever's coming has to come ain't it?
Anyway I watched "Patch Adams" just now. The movie's based on true story about a guy who wants to be a doctor to help people. Not just "help" technically saving people with their knowledge but helping people making them happy, improving the quality of life. A non-comformist kinda doctor, very different. Veron recommended this to me and it is rather interesting.
There's gotta be more to life!
Where are all the things that make me excited and look forward to?

Good night Baltimore!
Good morning Baltimore! This song's been stuck in my head since I watched Hairspray yesterday with Jia and Pang. It's nice movie with all the songs and dancing, which makes me happy :D

And watching hairspray reminds me of High School Musical and.. Zac Efron! "The Cutest, guy, like, ever"!
Look at him smile! *fangirlism acts up* He can sing, he can dance, he's young and he's cute! He's the new teen idol today!
Today's another boring Friday night where I look at my msn list and figuring out who to double click to talk to...

Anyway it's been quite a week with hiccups here and there with regards to the performance today. It's been a while since I felt this tired! I was a little stress a few days before but it all went well and I kinda enjoyed myself anyway, especially the food. haha. And thanks to the people who told me to jiayou ;)

Update
Kets been bugging me to update so here goes:
UPDATE.
*rolls eyes* ^^"
Anyway I haven't been doing anything "useful" since after I've finished reading Harry Potter.
I've been either youtubing or playing FFXII all day long and ocasional outings la. Well it's been a while since I last touched the PS2; which's the previous school holidays.
FFXII has been a love or hate game. Sadly, I've got no feelings for the characters and story at all. They just don't appeal to me for some reason. And the music, the melodies just ain't memorable enough. The only thing that's keeping me going is the gameplay? and recently my bro egging me to do the side quests and stuffs.Aiya I just wana complete it la damn
Well, it is the holidays after all and slacking at home is resting too..
Time to waste more time. /end update
Argh I sound so sian in this post.
Noooooooo. I'm notttt
This week should be more interesting because I'm going out with Kets and jx tomorrow, co practice on wed, Meeting Jia and Pang for movie on Thurs and last min Fri involve in performance. =D
Sidenote: SEED Destiny Chara Fortunes! Even though I've got not much interest in figurines now but these CHIBI ones are irresistable! I want! :/

Fangirl mode on: Athrun forever has sad eyes and omg a sad face hairpin, is not a girl! Shinn.. angsty eyes D= Why no special costume for Gil and Raww D= They made Shinn & Stellar, Kira & Cagalli a pair D=

Quirky? Not
I've finally finished Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows last night, great book and I've got no complaints about the ending. All was well. I like the concept of the deathly hallows, it's probably my favourite out of the 7 books. [The order of the phoenix's one of my favs too] I remember I first read the Sorcerer's Stone when I was 13. When I picked it up, I couldn't stop reading and completed it within a day or two. Can't say I'm really that big of a fan of Harry Potter but still it's one of my most enjoyable books ever. Well, not that I read alot anyway. I'll miss the magic. ;)
These past few days I've been catching up with old friends on msn, surfing the net, watching TV otherwise reading and.. sleeping. Especially today, I've been feeling drowsy after taking the cough syrup I detest. This sore throat's been dragging far too long but ya it's recovering, it's moved on to its last stage -throat itch a.k.a cough.
On to the 10 quirks about me that kets has been egging me to do... But I don't think I have much quirks so I'll just change it to 10 things about me then =P
I'll edit again when I think of something, maybe.

- I like reading up[discussion threads/wiki] on whatever I've just watched -movies/dramas/animes, includes books too, of course provided that I like it la if not I wouldn't have cared.
..which makes me aotakufangirl! So talk to me about them! Share your passion of film watching! - I don't like sweets. [With a very few exceptions I guess]
The reason is quite obvious ain't it? Sweets remind me of throat lozenges. I just don't like the bitterness left in my mouth after the sweet's gone. - I like things that are hard to get. That makes it all the more worthwhile to get!
For example shoes that run out of my size, all the more I want that shoe! - To me the word forever means, as long as possible.
Nothing lasts forever. - I like
guyspeople who text me long messages!
Cos it shows their sincerity.. - Green is my favourite colour!
All my friends probably know that already... - If you think I'm quiet, it's either I'm listening to you talking, we're of different frequency, I'm distracted thinking about something else or it's just me don't know what to say.
And hey I'm definitely more noisier now ok! - This ^^ irks me sometimes when used inappropriately. The irony is I use it quite often too.
Yes I'm refering to the ^^ "eyes". Of course most of the time, it serves its purpose- a pair of friendly smiling eyes. - I like rainy days because the grass and trees look greener, I'd feel more creative, I can go out and walk under the rain with my umbrella[applys only to drizzles] to feel the breeze, the water and the scent of wet dirt.
I probably watch too much korean dramas - I'm bad at ball games. Be it captain's ball, soccer ball, basketball even badminton and it's not a "ball" game. -.-''
I think I'm just bad at catching "balls", that's why.

And so it begins...
It's officially the start of the holidays now and... somehow I kinda feel sianed already thinking of the empty days ahead, like there's no purpose or something.
But I do have things to do like finishing up Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows [Currently only at pg185, don't spoil me ar] that'll take probably just a few days and after that I might go Kino to get the Sea of Shadow novel. After that.. I'll probably watch more movies/dramas/animes. Maybe occasional meet ups with friends, going for practice or maybe I'll spend my day sleeping away. Then we'll have chalet and that's it for my holidays. I can so see it coming.
Sounds boring.
I kinda prefer doing these things when I don't have the time. You know.. like watching anime at night, getting high about it and then sleeps late. The next day feel too sleepy for work. It's challenging! Haha I must be crazy.
Anyway yesterday I finally ate my long-missed Chicken katsu curry from FC6! Mannn the bliss when I finally tasted the food. Delicious! After that we went to celebrate Jean's Birthday at Ajisan's and then we went to catch the fireworks from Marina Square.
Ohya, I've been sucking 3 lozenges per day for one week now and my throat is still sore! Damn it. I even woke up today sounding hoarse.
That's it for now, I'll probably blog more about my boredom real soon again.

I've been reading up on sodagreen last Sat's concert again. xD

I'm finally going back to school tomorrow!
I'm gona step back T19 again,
climb the flight of stairs,
See those familiar faces of my coursemates again,
