JESSICA'S DONE WITH HAIR SCHOOL

Today Jessica is finally done with hair school.   She is so happy to be done.   When each student gets their hours (2000)  they have a little walk ceremony to congratulate them for getting their hours.


She couldn't clock out until 12:30 pm so they(her and Tyrel her learning leader) waited...

and waited...

and waited...

For the clock to finally get to 12:30  it seemed like forever but it was only a few minutes.

Dec 2010 Flood

It has been raining since Thursday. So it is flooding in the Creek. The dam is overflowing. It is amazing to see how much water is coming over the dam. Jordan and I went up and took pictures and some video. Below are some of them.

Thanksgiving 2010

This year was kind of weird we usually all go to my parents or go to Hurricane with my cousins.  This year Jessica committed to take family pics for her boyfriends family Thursday afternoon so we stayed home and Mom and dad went to Hurricane.  Ashlee and Brian went to California with his family so it was pretty quiet.  We cooked and ate and watched movies and just chilled all day.  It was great.   Friday we headed to St. George because Jessica had school and because we needed to do some shopping.  It was a mad house.  I didn't get much done.  Next year I am just going to do it all online.  It is so much easier. 

Saturday we went to Kaibab for our annual Leavitt Family tree hunting party.  It was great fun but freezing.  Jordan got a tree and we all ate and visited.   I love Thanksgiving weekend.

Happy 20th Birthday Jessica!!

Today Jessica turns 20. Wow I am amazed that I have two daughters who have made it past the teenage years. Am I oldor what. I just wanted to let Jessica know that she has grown to be a beautiful woman inside and out. I am proud to be her mother and I hope she has a wonderful birthday.

My Blog Book for 2009

I did my 2009 blog book quite a while ago but today I did a class on blurb and found out they have a new widget. You can actually put your book on a post for everyone to see. So I thought I would try it. If you want to see it you Click the button on the bottom right of the box to make it full screen. Then click he orange half circle next to the book to turn the page. To get out you just hit the esc key on your keyboard.

FAMILY PICS 2010

We decided to have our family pics taken since Jessica was here for the Deer Hunt. So as usual we had to all find clothes that the girls approved of. Then find a place that we liked. So while Jessica was out hunting Ashlee and I drove around looking for a good spot. We chose the Levi Stewart Memorial and the Golf course. I think they turned out great even though the boys were not cooperating as usual. Thanks Jodi for helping us out and putting up with us. Here is a sample.

Not UEA and Family time at Lagoon

This year our fall break is NOT on UEA weekend it will be during the deer hunt. Anyway we had planned on going to Lagoon for Frightmares this year. Stuart wanted to take the trailer for its first trip and the Lagoon campground closes after UEA weekend. So we took the boys out of school on Friday and headed up north.  We made it to Lagoon campground before dark and got everything set up. It was really nice not to have to put up a tent and no packing and unpacking the car. Saturday morning we got up and headed over to Lagoon to ride the rides. We all had a great time.

Stuart and Jordan decided to try out their driving skills on the funny car racing.  They had a great time. 

 I loved the sign that were all over the park.  Here are a couple.

 I thought that I could do this ride easily, but if you ask Stuart I was white knuckling it the whole time.  I do not do heights well.  Luckily we made it to the other side and went and rode the train which is my speed. 

This is our camping spot for the weekend .  We had a great time.  Ready for next time.
