Jar filled with Brownies
I'm back with a new project! I have been fascinated by all these jar recipes that I have seen on internet. I think they are so cute to give as a gift, maybe for a teacher or when you go to visit a friend, especially when decorated with of course some flowers by Wild Orchid Crafts.
I have filled the jar with a brownies recipe that I found HERE. This Dutch lady, Marieke, has both the Dutch and the English recipe on her blog and she also sells gorgeous labels to decorate a jar if you want a simpler decoration, you can of course still decorate those with matching Wild Orchid Crafts flowers. She uses a smaller jar so I have multiplied the amounts of ingredient to fill up my liter jar.
The back of my jar holds the instructions that Marieke provides on her blog... in Dutch of course.... but just realized while type this that I should have multiplied the amounts there as well.... oh well, I have it saved so will just print it again and glue over it :).
The top of the jar is decorated with gorgeous Magnolias and a Trellis Rose. The leaves that I have used are from the mixed package that is no longer for sale at Wild Orchid Crafts, you can still find other gorgeous leaves to use in the store though.
A close up of sweet Margot by Shaky A., as always colored with my Copic Markers and 3D paper pieced.
And the side of the jar where you'll see the layers with ingredients. My layers aren't perfect but I read somewhere on her blog later that you get these better if you put pressure on each new layer with a cocktail muddler so I'll try that next time. Pretty ribbons finish things of. Some of these are from Wild Orchid Crafts but are no longer available.
I hope you like my project. Have a lovely day everybody!
Hugs,

Slip Cover Box with fairy Willow
You may remember that I did a couple of Slip Cover boxes from a bought PDF template before. Since each year I have some last minute teacher gifts to make (and I hate last minute work) I decided that this year I'm going to try and create about one gift a month up front so that when the time comes that I need them I have some at hand (or I could use them as a small gift when we go visit people or something like that). This is my first for this year and I hope you like it.
The image that I used is one of the newly released images by Tiddly Inks, Willow the Birthday Fairy.
Look at those gorgeous embellishments, all from Wild Orchid Crafts. I adore the big trellis roses.
This is the box opened up.
I have listed the Copic markers I've used and the non-Wild Orchid Crafts materials on my blog. I hope you like the box, it was pretty simple to make and with the fabulous flowers for me it's a really festive gift to give! Have a great day everybody!!

A BIG thank you
Today I have a card to show you using lots of pretty sort of peachy colored flowers (love those)!
The image I used is called Well Rounded Elephant by Crissy Armstrong for Whimsy Stamps. I wanted to give the elephant big blushy cheeks and then decided I was going to let the color of the blush be the central color of the card. As always you'll find the links to the different Wild Orchid Crafts products that I used below.
As always the image was colored with Copic Markers and 3D paper pieced.
A close up of the pretty flowers, LOVE these, especially the cottage roses, SO pretty!
Have to also show you the back of my card as I love it :), I thought the leaves popping out behind my "personal" stamp like that was the perfect finishing touch.
Hope you like!

Wish upon a star with latest pretty flowers
I'm back with my first Christmas card of this year. I know it feels like we have ages until Christmas but it's just a little over twenty weeks, so if you create about one card a week like I do (some weeks more and some weeks less) then to have a couple to send to your closest friends and family it's just about time you get started :).
The stamp that I used is from Sugar Nellie and she's called Wish Upon a Star. I have it in rubber and had never used it before but it's now only available as a digi HERE.
A close up of the Wish Upon a Star image, as always colored with Copic Markers and 3D paper pieced.
And a close up of the pretty Wild Orchid Crafts flowers. I used some of the new products that are in store, I LOVE the new Magnolia's and Apple Blossoms so HAD to use them, the large ivory and turquoise flowers are the Magnolia's and I've used the blueish and ivory Apple Blossoms as well, these are all from te mixed packages.
Hope you like my first Christmas card of the year even though temperatures outside probably don't give you any Christmas fibes yet :). See you back soon!

Good for a hug
Hi there, a soft and pretty card from me today. All the delish flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I used a trellis rose, 25mm wild rose, open roses in 20mm, 15mm and 10mm, sweetheart blossoms and a fabric daisy. The lace and seam binding (that also got the dirty treatment) is from WOC too.
And a peek at the inside and a closer look at the bow (I popped some tulle behind the bow)
