LF Inspiration Week: Reveal Wheel Holiday Sentiments

Hi everyone! I hope that your week went well! The weather cooled off this week (it went from high 70s to 50 degrees yesterday - brr!) and it finally feels like fall!  Cue the cozy sweaters and falling leaves!

Even though it feels like fall, I have a cute Christmas card to share with you that features the Reveal Wheel and Reveal Wheel Square Add-On dies.

I ink blending a blue sky with Distress Oxide inks onto Bristol Smooth cardstock. I also added a glittery hillside created from the Pixie Dust Sparkle Cardstock and the Stitched Hillside Borders die. The images are from the Winter Sparrows set and the log is from the Toadally Awesome set. The reveal wheel features different Christmas sentiments that are from the Reveal Wheel Holiday Sentiments set, and I used the Speech Bubble Add-On die to make it look like the sparrows are talking. I finished the card by stamping a few music notes and hearts above the sparrows, stamping the black arrow from the Reveal Wheel Sentiments set, and framing the scene with patterned paper from the Really Rainbow Christmas collection.

Here is another card that I created that features a few more sentiments from the Reveal Wheel Holiday Sentiments set! You can find the details about this card here.

I hope this inspires you to create some cute, Christmas cards! You can find more inspiration on the Lawn Fawn blog! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great weekend! :)

25 Days of Christmas Day 10!

Ah, I can't believe that it is December 10th!! Today is my daughters one year birthday! Where did this year go?! We have prayed and waiting for a child for so long and I thank God every day that she is here!

December 10th is also a special day to my husband and I because it is the day that we started dating and the day that we got engaged! Ever since we started dating, we have always watched the movie "It's a Wonderful Life" every year on December 10th (except for last year because we were in the hospital!). So, I think it is the perfect day to share this card with you!

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Cole's ABCs' dies, "Winter Sparrow" stamp set, and "Snow Day" patterned paper. I die cut the sentiment from a piece of white card stock and made sure to keep the centers of the a, o, d, and r (I almost lost the "a" piece at one point!). Then I adhered the white card stock to the patterned paper and added the middle pieces of the letters. Then, I stamped, colored, die cut, and used foam tape to adhere the sparrows to the card. I finished by adding a few music notes.

Well, thanks for stopping by! I am going to enjoy this "wonderful" day with my husband and daughter! :)

25 Days of Christmas Day 7

I am back again to share another Christmas card with you this morning! I kept this card very clean and simple, and I really like how it turned out! :)

This card features Lawn Fawn's "Winter Sparrow." Yep, that's it! I started by stamping the branch in brown ink and the sentiment below it in Memento black ink. I stamped the birdies onto white card stock, colored them with my Prismacolor pencils, cut them out, and attached them with foam tape. To finish the card, I added a few music notes above the sparrows. Quick and easy, and it would make a great layout to mass produce!

Well, thanks for stopping by! Have a nice, relaxing Sunday! :)

Lawnscaping #89 - One Layer

Happy September! We're getting closer and closer to my favorite season - fall! I already decorated my house in my fall decor because I'm just so excited! :)

It's time for a new Lawnscaping Challenge - the dreaded one layer!

This challenge is always so hard for me because I like to use foam tape to pop up different images or letters. I did break the rules though and added stickles to the ice! I just couldn't help it!

This card features one of Lawn Fawn's newest sets "Critters in the Arctic" as well as "Winter Sparrows" and "Making Frosty Friends." The scene is colored with Prismacolor pencils and my white paint pen. I started by stamping the seal and sparrow onto the card base. Then I made a mask of the critters, taped it down, and stamped the ice slab (I'm not really sure what you would call that!). I finished the card by stamping the sentiment and hearts (and adding the stickles!).

The sponsor this week is Simon Says Stamp and the winner will receive a $25 gift certificate!
