Thank You Color Block Card

Hi friends! I have a fun color block card to share today inspired by the Day 6 lesson in the Spring Card Camp 2 by Online Card Classes!

I started by white heat embossing the Diamond Tile Background stamp from the Stamp Market onto three different color cardstock panels. I cut each of the panels into three sections and lined up a panel from each color into a tri-colored panel.

I used some low tack tape to hold the cardstock together while I die cut it with the Outside In Stitched Rectangle die from Lawn Fawn. I did the best I could to line up the embossed lines, but some of them are off a little bit. Don't look too closely, haha!

Once the panels were cut, I attached them to a white card base with double sided tape. Then, I added the sentiment by die cutting white cardstock and gold cardstock with the Stamp Market's Handwritten Thanks die. I die cut three layers of white cardstock so that there is a lot of dimension on the sentiment.

Once the sentiment was attached, I added a few clear sequins. Here's a closer look at one of the cards:

Thanks for visiting today and I hope you have a great day! :)

Seasons Giving Blog Hop

Hi friends and Happy New Year! :)

I'm excited to be joining the Seasons Givings Blog Hop! This hop is a way for us to say thank you for your love and support this year. Your comments throughout the year have brighten my day and I'm so glad that I can share card inspiration with you all! :)

As a way to say thank you, each stop in this blog hop has a giveaway! Everyone has something different, so make sure to stop and leave a comment at each blog in the hop for your chance to win some goodies!

Before I get to the giveaway, I have a card to share with you! I created this thank you card set from products by The Stamp Market!

I started by cutting pieces of Lawn Fawn's cardstock - Guava, Sunflower, and Mermaid. Then, I white heat embossed the background with the Diamond Tile Background stamp. I love that fun diamond design! I used the coordinating inks from Lawn Fawn to ink around the edge of the paper for some extra detail, and then attached the panels to the white card base.

For the sentiment, I used the Handwritten Thanks dies and cut the bottom layer from vellum and the top layer from Storm Cloud cardstock. I glued the thank you dies together and then glued them to the background. I finished the card by adding a few clear jewels around the sentiment. Here's a close up on the cards:

Now, onto the giveaway!

I have a variety of items to giveaway - a few stamp sets, dies, inks, brushes, and jewel stickers. I might also find some other items to include in the giveaway before I mail it along. :)

This giveaway is open for U.S. residents only (sorry international friends!) and the winner will be announced on my blog on January 15th. Make sure to stop back and check if you're a winner!

Thanks so much for stopping by! If you're interested in following along for more card inspiration, make sure to check out the Whimsipost Facebook and Instagram pages. :)

The next stop in the blog hop is Dana Joy's blog. In case you get lost along the way, here is the full blog hop list.

Thanks again and have a great day! :)
