This past weekend I went to Sydney for a design conference called Semi-Permanent. It's an incredibly inspiring and amazing conference where I had the privilege to listen to twelve speakers share their love for design, art and photography and how the paths they travelled down have led to incredibly rewarding and outstanding careers doing what they love.
One speaker in particular really got to me. His name is Corey Arnold and he is amazing. Corey shared how from the moment he was able to stand he was holding a fishing rod and catching all kinds of sea creatures { including sharks! } He is an Alaskan Commercial Fisherman and also an incredible photographer. I'll let the photos speak for themselves, although there are some pretty interesting and hilarious stories behind each one. Oh! and something about the TV series "The Deadliest Catch"... I've been too far from America for too long...Enjoy.
