Making a Bride

A few months ago I made a wedding dress for the lovely Anna McCambridge.
These are a few photos from the fittings and creating process. I'll be doing a little photoshoot with her soon and will post more photos.

Who Wants to Hold a Baby Gator?

We were told they sometimes jump on the airboat. yikes!

Two of my favorite people in the world.

Jason had some friends in town last month. They couldn't leave without going for a ride on the St. John's river in an airboat. Florida is beautiful.

In the Making

The Shakers believed that making something well was in itself an act of prayer.

The theme for Annalemma Issue 8 will be Creation.

She Wore Her Watercolours Into The Ocean

She flew from the mountains of Roundup, MT to visit the sunshine and the seashore. It had been four years since I last saw my dear friend Coila. With hazy eyes grinning and a cup of dd coffee we made our way to the east coast to see the sunrise. It was so beautiful to watch the light expand as Colia layerd colored sea-water into her journal. She left me the mountains and took home the sea.

My grandparents met in the Bronx when they were 19. She was wearing a red dress. He always says "she was walking around like she had lost something, turns out it was me she was looking for."

Today is their 61st Anniversary

He still uses my Return of the Jedi juice cup that I loved when I was 3

Put Some Yarn On Your Head

photos: Jen O'Malley

These beauties are now available on my Etsy Store. Made from high quality silk, organic cotton, bamboo and merino wool yarn. Alex, I think it's time to bring the Barfs back and we can knit and crochet people from head to toe.
