the luckiest mom ever.

Tuesday, July 29, 2008

Today marks 21 weeks 4 days since sweet Brenham went home to heaven. He has been gone for longer than he was here.
God had something much bigger and better planned for his life than we could ever have imagined. He has brought people to Jesus and made others realize how precious life is and to not take that for granted. He has impacted and changed this world in his short life more than most babies will their entire lives.
What a special little boy.
He is the greatest miracle that I have ever been a part of, and I feel so incredibly privileged to have been chosen to be his mommy.

We are so proud of you son.

that was so sweet Katie. your families story has touched a lot of people. I have my "kidney for Katie" pin on my purse, and people have asked me about it, and I tell them your story. Your whole family is amazing!

You don't know me, but I've been following your story and have been so blessed by reading it and have cried through much of it. You are an amazing person!

I once had someone tell me after losing my infant son 1-1/2 years ago how special a privalege it is to be chosen as a vessel by God to bring one more soul into the kingdom of heaven. It sounds like Brenham was used to bring many souls into God's kingdom. What an honor! And, someday, we'll both get to see our babies again! God bless you both!

A sister in Christ.

Katie & Robb,

Just thinking of you as you prepare for Mayo Clinic this coming week. May you have a peace that surrpasses all understanding as you prepare. You guys are awesome!

Job 37:5 God's voice thunders in marvelous ways; he does great things beyond our understanding.
