DeNami Product Spotlight: Apples & Pears Stamp Set

DeNami Product Spotlight: Apples & Pears Stamp Set.

My kids have amazing teachers!  I always make sure they know how much we appreciate them.  This is a simple thank you that would work for any occasion.
I stamped the solid apple in Red Versafine and the outline apple stamped in black and colored in with green copic markers.  It looked a bit too checkerboard like so I added the elegant floral leaf sprig.  I sponged lime green around the edges too.  The Thank You banner has lime green gingham in the background and was stapled on using Red Staples.

DeNami FANCY FAVORS April Blog Hop

Welcome to the April DeNami Blog Hop - FANCY FAVORS.
I must admit, I have zero "fun" food or chocolate in my house, so I had to compromise and I used fruit leather and a gift card.  They could easily be used for some yummy chocolate or other sinful treat!

The 1st week of May is teacher appreciation week.  I always try to give the teachers a little something each day of the week to show our appreciation.
I stamped For You in Red Ink and punched out with a scalloped circle punch.  I added the apple stamped in black in the center. Colored in with copics and put crystal lacquer on the top to make them look like shiny apples.
The bag on the left is holding 4 fruit leathers and is the 3 x 8 1/2 sized bag from DeNami.   I tied it at the top using 3/8 lime ribbon and tied the apple circle on using twine.
The one on the right has an I-tunes gift card and measures 3 3/8 x 4 3/4.  I folded the bag down and closed it with  a strip of washi tape.  The For you circle is popped up using foam tape.
Simple, yet thoughtful.
The next stop on the hop is to visit Pam.  I'm sure she has something fabulous for you to see.  Make sure to leave her a comment and every other blog along the way- - you could win a DeNami gift certificate!

Back to School Sketch & Theme Challenge

This card is for two challenges. Cas-ual Fridays Challenge: Top of the Class and Retro Sketches.

My kids started school on Monday.  It was a super smooth transition for them... so far!
For this card I used the super cute DeNami Back to School Chickie.  I added a Thank You sentiment in red.   The DeNami celery cardstock matched my patterned die cut perfectly.  I added some fun school type lines on the bottom portion of the card base.  The sketch called for some pretty ribbon, so I added some pretty 5/8 grosgrain ribbon.  Perfect little thank you for one of my kids teachers.  My daughter has a male teacher this year, which is a 1st for us.  I will have to get creative for gifts this year.

DeNami Mini Cards Blog Hop

Welcome to the DeNami Blog Hop --- Mini Cards.
Hopefully you are hopping from Pam's blog... if not you can start HERE.

Pretty sure my kids start school in about 20 days.... which means new teachers.   How cute would this little note look sitting on a teachers desk.  Nothing fancy, just the thought is what makes a little card like this special.  Sometimes I feel the pressure to make the "perfect" card, but then find myself procrastinating and never getting around to doing it. What a shame, no excuse with these cute little Mini Cards.  Grab some small stamps, scraps, and go for it!  My card measures 3 1/4 wide by 3 3/4 tall.

As you are hopping along, make sure you leave a comment on EVERY blog -- you have a chance to win a $20 DeNami Gift Certificate!
Your next stop on the hop is Tina's Blog --- this is her 2nd blog hop EVER -- so leave her some love!

Misc: Red, Leaf Green, White, Lime Cardstock.  Tombow Markers, Versafine Black Ink Pad.

2 Sketches 4 You #50 - Teacher Card

2 Sketches for you - Sketch #50 by Kazan. AWESOME sketch, I might try this again soon and flip it on the side. Teacher appreciation week is only a few weeks away. Thought I would get an early start on a few cards. I dug through my stash and found this cute apple image & coordinating paper by SassafrassLass. I make a non-stamped card every few months or so... just seems unfinished. Maybe I will stamp on the envelope.
