Well, today was a total binge of food. My friend, Becky, and I had decided on Thursday that we would make lobster today...well, yesterday now. So, we spend about an hour trying to find a grocery store that sold live lobsters. Finally got a hit on store #3. Becky's lobster was crazy, the fish guy was trying to put the lobster in a plastic bag so he could wrap it up and the lobster spread out all of it's legs. I imagine he was thinking, "no way am I getting in there!" Then we realized that we didn't have a big enough pot to cook them in, so we had to go to Target. Tomorrow is Easter, mind you, so every store was packed and crazy. Finally, at around 5:00 (we started the Mission: Im-Lobster-ble at 2:30) we were cooking. As we were putting the lobsters in the pot, Becky's crazy lobster spread-eagled again!
Later, we decided to go visit our injured friend with one of Becky's roommates. She had dislocated her knee and we wanted to cheer her up. We thought some Sprinkles Cupcakes would do the trick. Supposedly, they're the best cupcakes in the world or something. However, if you know Sprinkles, you know the line is usually about halfway down the block. I guess the line normally moves pretty quickly, but as this was my first time, I have no idea. But an hour later, we had decided that we had better get a dozen cupcakes to make it worth it. As soon as we got in, an hour after they had closed, we were told we could only get 6 cupcakes. Then, they didn't have any of the ones we wanted. So, we took what they had and headed to our friend's.
On the way, we saw a Pinkberry. If you've never had Pinkberry, try it immediately. It's the best frozen yogurt ever! So we grabbed Pinkberry and finally made our way from Beverly Hills back to Glendale. We left for Sprinkles at 6:30 and finally got to our friend's house at 9. There we watched a crazy movie on TV and ate Pinkberry and Sprinkles until we felt like booting! Well, to be honest, I only ate half a bannana cupcake.
So, all I've had today is lobster, Pinkberry, and Sprinkles and I'm never eating again. :)

California Adventure
Today, my good friend, Tara, and I went to California Adventure. It was on a whim, she had some free tickets. We had the best time. It was so nice to spend time with someone that I can actually talk to and that doesn't bring drama into my life. Even though we only see each other a few times a year, we just pick up right where we left off. Anyway, we were in line for the Tower of Terror, which Tara had never been on, and met a guy named John. We were being silly and Tara was getting "scared"...well, this is what happened next:

My acting class last night was great. I'm so glad I've found a place that really works for me. It's like someone reached in my brain, took all of my ideas of what kind of class I needed, and then handed it to me. I'm really learning a lot. Plus, I feel like I'm getting better, not just doing the same old stuff over and over.
Also, I started interning with my agent today. I think it will be good to get in there once a week and have them see my face and get to know me. Hopefully they'll send me out for more appropriate things...instead of 30-40 year old Chinese women roles!

People Are Weird
I don't think I will ever understand where some customers' heads are at. A guy came into my work today and started looking around at all of the TVs. We have 5, it's a sports/dive bar. I asked him if he was looking for anything in particular (so that I could change the channel to whatever he wanted to watch) and he gave me a dirty look and said he was just seeing what was on. Then, when I told him that we were out of avocado, he told me that I should have picked some up on my way to work. After throwing the menu at me, he informed me that he would "not be ordering anything from me ever again". I guess I should forgive him, apparently he's from a place where wearing tie-dyed shirts and being a jerk are still socially acceptable.
It makes me grateful for the regulars who drink beer out of the pitcher, watch Nascar, and sing country songs to me. :)
By the way, I'm addicted to the Food Network!

My First Blog...Ever
Well, here goes. My first blog. Since it's about ten 'til one in the morning, I don't have that many coherent thoughts running around in my head. I had a crazy audition yesterday where I wasted...oops waited two and a half hours to get my picture taken. I guess if I get the job it will have made it worth it. I'm trying to do the 21 complaint-free days thing...maybe I'll start tomorrow. Haha.
