I got this book for Christmas and just finally read it a couple of weeks ago. I loved this book! It is the first book of a trilogy. It is an easy and fast read. It is set in the future and is about making people perfect. It makes you really think about our day and age and how plastic surgery is becoming more and more popular so that people can have perfect features. In the book the people are required to go through a massive plastic surgery to become what they call "pretty." The plot spreads out through all three books and leaves you hanging at the end of the first and second book! I read all three books in a couple of days and would definitely recommend these books!

Book Review

This is a really good series! I read Uglies and Pretties, but haven't read Specials yet, but I really enjoyed them. When I find time (and am not glad to be taking a break from reading) I will finish them up. Let me know if the last is as good as the first!
