The MWC crew, minus Tonya and Jason -- How did I not get a picture of them?
We got the master room this year -- woo hoo. We figured out too late that our kind friends assumed our door was closed for a 'reason', and wouldn't knock to come in and use the master bathroom. That meant 6 of them were using 1 bathroom and a powder room (half bath), and the two of us were brushing our teeth in the one with the double sinks and the huge mirror. We were totally bathroom Nazi's and didn't even know it.
The games were good, except for the pig tail game that Wyoming lost. Technically, Wyoming wasn't even in the tournament since they had to fight for the 8th spot. As lousy as it was to see the Cowboys be the whipping boy of the conference, their loss made the rest of the games enjoyable. I didn't care who won, I could just enjoy the game. And okay, I'll admit it, I did cheer for BYU against UNLV. Rebel fans are obnoxious and they need to go down. Unfortunately, BYU couldn't make it happen.
- The best moment of the trip was watching the ornery, belligerent (at times), and overall overconfident New Mexico fans completely deflate after San Diego State beat them.
- The worst moment of the trip was realizing the change from Pacific Time to Mountain Standard time was actually 2 hours because of daylight savings and the drive home was going to be a beast.
Cathy came to watch the girls. As she was leaving this morning I thanked her again. I still don't feel like I expressed my appreciation enough. We needed the break, and the girls did, too. Thanks again! (and again and again)
So many memories, but not many pictures. I'll scrounge what I can. Trips are good. Reality is lousy.
Keep smiling and remember to be happy.

Sounds like a great trip and break! That totally stinks about the time change too. We were struggling with one hour and 9 a.m. church.

Great picture, Ton and Jason where late to the game for Strawberries, remember.
What? You needed a break from your darling children? Whatever for? ;)
Oh how I wish I had that "annual trip" scheduled next week to give me a break from my children!
Bathroom Nazi! Ha-ha. Oh well, hope you enjoyed the master, they'll probably never let you have it again. :) Glad you got to have an escape weekend!
What a great and fun tradition and I am glad that you enjoyed your time away from reality!
