A Wind Poem

This afternoon, i happened to come across an advertisement from Air Force (see left) which inspired me to compose this poem:
I am the wind rising high above the mountains.
Wheezing across the land with no restraint and boundary.
Never rest and constantly moving.
To reach the far side of earth where no man touches.
You may not to see me but I will be always there.
Echoing in your ears and breezing you with comfort.
When you need me, I will whistle to accompany you.
When I not needed, I will stay at the sky looking over you.
Sometimes I'm wilful,
Raising the tides and swaying the trees
Sometimes I'm tame,
Staying still and silent without a trace of sound.
No matter what form I take.
I will always be true to you and myself.
Late Hour Run
Posted On Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at at 9:36 AM by warriorsofwindLate as I am to join the Safra run tonight. Did a quick loop around the whole stretch of Mt Faber and saw Chin in the bathroom. Chin was training together with his mates for the coming kinabalu climbaton. Hmm. perhaps one day i might join him to train for my trekking trip.
Thenafter, I had an enjoyable dinner with the rest of the Safra runners. At midnight, suddenly felt a urge to write a poem to send my best wishes to SGrunners forum. :)
Running fast or waddling on.
A group of us shares the running passion.
Coming from SG, roaming around the island
Picking up a starting point and we all gather up
Sharing the laughter, sweat and perspiration
No matter how bright the Sun or Late is the hour
SGrunners will always be here and stay on
To motivate, inspire and keep the running spirit going on!!
Christmas Poem
Posted On Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at at 10:45 AM by warriorsofwindA Christmas poem i sent to Beth.. (my so-called Wife from US) :p ..
A Christmas Card,
Represents my missing of you,
Loneliness am I in SG,
My heart belongs to the winter land of Seattle,
Every single drops of rain,
Reminds me the moments we been together,
Yet so far but feels so near,
Here I now,
In the middle of this drizzling night,
Wishing you a Merry Merry Christmas,
And an ever best coming New Year.
A Drizzling Run..
Posted On Monday, December 10, 2007 at at 7:09 AM by warriorsofwindA poem that i thot of while running on this drizzling night..
The night is red,
The sky is drizzling,
No sight of life,
Few sight of cars,
A white figure,
Slowly taking its shape,
His running steps,
Rippling through the silent sphere,
Puddles of water,
Pulling his soaking shoes,
Struggling is he,
Raising his strained legs,
And alone he sprints,
Dashing to the darkness end.
