Kids say the cutest things!
Here are the funny things that the girls have been saying lately. Sit back and enjoy the post!
Hallie:
-While eating at a Restaurant she went into the bathroom and found out that they had black toilets. This is what I hear "I can't believe that I am going to the bathroom on a Black Toilet!"
-Tyler was pinning me down the other day and tickling me. I guess this scared Hallie cause she said H-"I sure like both my Mom and Dad being here."
M- "What do you mean Hallie?"
H- "I don't want my mom or dad to go to jail."
-Her ears have been plugged up lately and she can't hear anything. We keep telling her that we need to clean out her ears so she can hear. Tyler cleaned them out this morning and after she says:
H-" I can hear out of both my hears now."
D- "Good, I am glad."
H- "What... Hahaha!"
- She expresses her feelings by telling us how her heart is. My heart is excited. My heart is sad. My heart is scared. My heart is Happy. My heart is hungry.
Annie:
-Tyler was giving me a hard time so I threw the pack of baby wipes at him. Annie yells " Mom don't do that." Then goes to him and tries to console him by saying:
A- "It's ok Dad, Mom didn't mean to throw them at you."
M- "Yes Mom did mean to throw them."
A- " No Dad, Mom didn't mean to throw them."
M- "Yep, I did."
A- "Then, I am going to throw them at you!"
She then chucks them at me.
2 min. later I hit Tyler in the head with a flip flop. Tyler proceeds to tattle on me and Annie grabs the flip flop and chucks it at my face.
-We went to the Zoo in St. Louis for spring break. She wanted to ride the train so bad. We kept telling her we would ride it after we saw the animals. She gave up for awhile and then said:
A- "Mom, see that big clock up there?"
M- "Yep."
A- "It says it's time to ride the train."

The Simply Things in Life...
Everyday I tell Tyler something that he tells me to blog about but I never get around to doing it.This is my attempt to get everything on here so bare with me. Here is what we have been up to lately: The weather has been really nice for about a week so we took full advantage and played outside any moment we got. The girls were in heaven and Barry was a little confused as to why he wasn't covered head to toe in blanket ( he doesn't get out much!) Annie had a blast throwing sand and letting it fall back down on her. Hallie is our more serious one and spent the time building a sand snowman. And the best part of the day is that we had Dad with us. He took the day off of studying to come spend it with us. We were very excited to take him on our adventures and we made sure to not waste anytime with him! After the park our friend Carrie invited us on a family date to the local bowling alley. I really wish we had our video camera with us because our girls were so funny. They love to bowl, we used to go in Salt Lake with Jon and Amy and they still remembered that so they were pretty excited when we told them that we were going. They both fit into the bowling shoes and kept asking if they could take them home cause they were so cute. Apparently they don't know the difference between cute and disgusting yet. When it was Hallies turn she would get this serious look on her face, pick up her ball, throw it down the ramp, and turn around and come sit down. She really is a determined little girl and usually doesn't show signs of enjoyment until after the fact. We did catch her jumping up and down when she would knock over lots of pins. Annie on the other hand would grap the ball, throw it down the ramp, and then jump up and down until it hit a pin. They both did awesome with carrying the ball. I was shocked that people that little could carry something of that size. Although they both looked as if they could fall over any moment. Hallie even got the proper Bowling etiquette down with the pinky hold. We just have to say that we love bowling and hope to go back the that filthy, filthy place again soon.
I will have to post more later, Barry is hungry and I have to clean my house. Did I mention that my sister Mckensi is on an airplane out here right now. I am so excited to see her and more excited to have her meet Barry and play with the girls.
