i felt bad not too long ago. coz i really felt that i caused li shuang to get scolded by the super duper uper wuper fierce malay/indian manager today. getting a person into trouble is more than enough to guilt me, what's more a friend who always takes care of me. if i agreed to be the first server, he wouldn't be scolded. i didn't know he's as blur as me, because today's very special. it's western dinner at novotel! serving style is very different from chinese wedding banquets. i knew i'd get scolded if i were the first server coz i'm not very sure about the serving style. in the end li shuang also not sure. no wonder he asked me to be the first. but after shaking my head vigorously, he offered to help me still. i felt so bad when the manager and the biggest(both in ranking and size =X) chef shouted at him la! =( but.. just now i realised he doesn't mind. i'm so relieved. he's really a great friend. he said it's his honour to be my friend, but i think it's the other way round! being a good friend is not just by being concerned, much less by the amount of time, but by being sincere. because others can feel our sincerity from within. sincerity that touches hearts.
anw, today was great other than the screwed up service. coz derrick was such a great guy because he brought in all the delicious western delicacies for us to eat!!! omg cuishan jo and i ate super hungrily coz we didn't eat dinner. it was such good food! *thumbs up! yummyyummyyummy! didn't know novotel's western cuisine could be this good. (: what's more we could go home at 10 coz there's only 3 courses compared to 8 courses in chinese dinners. hahaha. too bad we couldn't dance. ah some reasons. nvm, next time!! xD

"去把SYF的感动找回来". siping almost cried when ms in said that. i was momentarily stunned. then i was moved by her words. i've set not only my mind, but my heart, to find it back and infuse it back into my dancing. our syf training days were our peak. we have to find it back. i want to find it back. siping says it's difficult because there's only the few of us and the feeling is somehow different, but i believe, if there's a will, there's a way. difficult it may be, but with our faith and passion, we CAN. let's do our best dancers =) we have very limited time due to the unforeseen circumstances, but at least let's utilise this short period of time to the fullest. every minute counts. practise every second. 跳舞的人本来就要吃的起苦. JIAYOU!!!

my friend wanted me to help him find a birthday present for his mum, i said ok coz i like to help my friends generally. so we have to meet and go shop together. i told my mother although i know she won't let us meet, and really she disallowed me. hahahaha. simply because he's a guy. next time my boyfriend will have a hard time. too bad =X when will my mother open up her mind? i think she protects me too much. i understand her worries, but i feel caged. she really protects me too much that she hurts me. nevermind, i await the day she frees me. years later perhaps. haha my friend's very nice to understand. i love my friends and i feel really blessed to have them! meeting julianah tmr for breakfast. yay miss her! ((=

hai. waiting for my hair to dry so i shall blog about today's "wonderful" experience. worked for the first time at swiss hotel with cuishan and josephine. it's a 5 star hotel so we thought the staff there will be more refined as compared to novotel staff coz novotel is 4 star. in the end, they're so MUCH MORE boorish and inhumane. they scolded us like we're dogs even when we've done nothing wrong. i seriously dunno what's their problem. i think they're just bullying us coz we're new there. there was one stupid auntiesenior waitress who kept scolding cuishan. what's her problem! bully my wife. another stupid auntiesenior waitress yelled at me too. for about 5 seconds in front of ALL the diners. great. 5 seconds sound short but it really isn't when she's shouting at the top of her voice at ME until all the diners turned to look. all i could do was swallow the humiliation and smile at the diners to assure them nothing's wrong. in fact nothing is wrong! she scolded me coz i put one plate into the kitchen when that plate could be easily replaced by another one. yet she yelled as if it was the rarest plate on earth. she was just venting her anger after being scolded by another auntiesenior waitress not long ago. after that a manager pinched my arm really hard coz of another lame and minor reason. round trays and such. i told jo it's abuse and she said it's child abuse. haha!!! i told my mother when i reached home and she asked me why didn't i retaliate. i didn't because he's a manager while i'm a waitress. anyway, he won't have a chance to touch me again coz it's my first and last day. haha. cuishan and jo too. coz the staff there kept scolding us. for nothing. it's plain bullying lah. good thing the diners are very good to me and the bartender too. he's the only staff who's nice. =( haha while i was serving the dishes i was missing life in novotel. coz suddenly i realised it was heavenly treatment there. the moment i carry a few plates li shuang will take them from me and say it's not a girl's job to do such chores. in swiss hotel it's one person to 2 tables. everything from the 2 tables i must carry. and the captains will scold us somemore. cuishan said she miss uncle dave. haha! i miss the whole of novotel staff. they're sososo nice and friendly! stupid swiss hotel. 5 star so what. hahah. the character of the people there are not even one-quarter star. =P

by the way, i met xiaohui today!!! i haven't seen her for such a long time. miss her! haha. thanks xiaohui, julianah, eileen, shalini and rina for the very very nice bag! i really like it a lot. (= let's meet up again! i'm a nut-lover (;

i'm so tired. work, dance, outings, work, dance, outings... endlessly busy. my home is like hotel already. =( i'm feeling a little sad about something, but if i hadn't end it i would be even sadder. so i'm happier now. haha. chim? aiya. anyway, cheryl and i went to YONGYONG'S house yesterday!!!! we had a great feast there coz her mother is a really good cook! i think the most awesome dish was the chilli crab. the rest was equally nice but chilli crab most difficult to cook i think. the bak kut teh soup was.....HEAVEN!!! HAHA! cheryl kept giving me all her pork ribs and pig stomach. in the end i was so full. hahah. yongyong is really a good host lah coz she keeps us entertained with uno cards, ALOT of food and new year goodies, her family members hahah, and her famous laughter!!! after that we went amk hub to shop for yongyong's shirt. haha it's really fun going out with them! in a twinkling of an eye, we're old friends already! (:

after that went for dinner with cuishan, uncle dave, li shuang and gary. jumbo seafood restaurant by the river at clarke quay. another seafood feast. but my heart aches for uncle dave's wallet. haha. everytime we go out we eat a lot. after that we went to eat turkish ice cream. gary likes to push the ice cream towards our faces. hmmph! hahah. then while we walked towards the night market selling a lot of cool food mainly from taiwan, gary and li shuang keep tugging at our hair. cuishan guessed it was lishuang and i guessed it was gary. in the end is the other way round. haha they have nothing better to do. ate malt candy coz uncle dave wanted and he forced us to eat too. hahah. li shuang taught us how to eat GOOD malt candy by twirling it until it becomes white in colour =) but i was lazy to twirl it for so long so i passed mine to him to twirl after he gave me one of his. haha i repaid goodness with evil. =P after that went to macs to chat. anw, glad to know all of them. i conclude they're nice people coz i went home safely. haha. *winks at cheryl ;P

happy girl is blogging again =D on sat met up with dearest eileen and rina!!! the rest of the nuts had something on. heh so the 3 of us had our fill!!! we went to swensons and ate FOUR main courses coz of my birthday so there's a complimentary main course. hahaha. it's amazing how 3 girls can finish four main courses. the food was yummy! then after that we went to watch 27 dresses. it's a romantic comedy =) sweet! and eileen and rina offered to treat me to the movie. love them! so i treated them to something else. heh :D thanks nuts!!! =)) after that went dearest dearest shuyan's house to eat steamboat with all my long lost cedar percussionists. oh they've all grown up! haha!! and i miss shuyan loads. really, really, loads. they gave me a cute toy xylophone and a card for my birthday. and shuyan's msg made my heart melt. shuyan, I MISS YOU!!! we're going to meet again before she leaves for australia AGAIN. she comes back to sg for barely a month everytime. those were the days.. we used to crap a lot in the bandroom =) anw, thanks cheryl and pamela for your messages. i'm touched (: haha last but not least, HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!

I AM SO HAPPY!!! coz of the many tokens of love from everyone. muacks :) went east coast with the dearest 7 alumni dancers yesterday for PICNIC!! the food everyone brought was simply DELICIOUS. yee shin brought fried chicken nuggets, cuishan brought all sorts of yummy tidbits, jancy brought TASTY bee hoon, jo and xinyi brought drinks and i brought sotong balls!!! haha! all our favourite yeah. we finished everything. heh! anyway the outing was VERY thrilling and exciting. coz after we met at east coast, we rented bikes and cycled all the way out of east coast to changi. there was one point in time we were so near changi that a plane just flew right above us. super loud! then we had to cross a few roads so it was quite dangerous. and we cycled to the ulu place jo wanted to bring us. that ulu place had wild dogs barking quite fiercely so we had to be calm if not the dogs will chase after us. the grasses there were taller than our bikes la! so it was quite ticklish and scratchy hahaha.luckily we didn't meet any snakes. anw the bike ride all the way from east coast to the ulu but beautiful place was bumpy yet thrilling. we ate our food there and it got dark so we had to rush back to east coast if not the place can get pretty scary and dangerous coz we could get lost. haha i love that place! we took lots of photos and dearest dancers gave me and siping our birthday presents. so sweet of them la! love them. josephine, cuishan and jancy gave me wallet with a sweet photo of us and msges in it. i'll nvr take them out from my new wallet. the four of us gave siping chocolate!!! her fav =D haha. thank goodness we managed to cycle back to east coast safely =) then we continued eating and talking before going home! totally enjoyed that fun experience. let's go there again some other time! earlier, coz it gets frightening at night. hahah ((=

i really love the wallet jo cuishan and jancy gave me because.. it's from them =) and i love the colour and design and everything. haha thanks a lot!! my veeko colleagues are sweet as well. i know they know my birthday so i was like just jokingly hinting to them and they pretended they're not giving me anything. but in the end they gave me a BOX of ferrero rocher and oreo cheesecake la!!! omg.. i was shocked and thanked them like mad. it's really a sweet surprise haha when people do this. farah and hida bought me a very very pretty ballerina necklace. muacks, miss you all. i love the necklace as well of course. haha went out with farah and julianah after work today anw. and we HAD FUN! our fun means laughing like mad women regardless of the crowd haha! =D ate at cavana at marina sq. full! i'm missing them now though i just saw them today. meet soon again ok? PRETTIER farah! HAHAHAHA. li shuang gave me blusher. i need lipstick more actually haha. i was surprised coz i wasn't expecting anything from him since he always says he got no money. haha. uncle dave said he bought me my present already but haven't meet him yet. he msged me happy birthday tonight =) ah i'm so touched! people i know from both of my jobs are really nice. friends, I LOVE YOU!
