i haven't blogged for so long i almost forgot my username haha
firstly, midyear common tests are over!!! hahahaha. i studied with a little different method this time, and it's more useful. time management! it's the key thing. i'm glad i joined dance, coz it were the hectic practices that allowed me to be disciplined and utilise my time more efficiently. went to catch a movie with nutsnuts today! ocean13. nice!! =) i shall watch 11 and 12. miss going out with them. it's been such a long time we hang out together other than in school!
haha! and......... here comes the exciting exciting exciting exciting exciting x100 part!!! my genting trip with my beloved dancers!!!
first day, we were waiting outside aj gate for our bus!!! it came so late haha. around 6.20am? can't remb haha. so while we were waiting, we took photos!!! our very first genting trip photo =)
and dearest xinyi actually bought barley for us!!! one person per bottle with a little msg. so sweet! love her =)
i rem we were so excited and surrounding us were so many luggages!!! haha

then our bus came! at first we were chatting but after that all of us went to meet uncle zhou!!! hahaha coz it was so early in the morning and we were very tired. only cuishan was so hardworking! we just boarded the bus and she took out her econs to study. The whole journey took around 8 or 9 hours. very very long. and most of us were sleeping throughout. hahaha. while i was happily dreaming, cuishan finished a maths revision paper!! haha she really motivated me to do maths :)

when the bus was climbing uphill, i thought i saw mist but actually it was clouds! i couldn't believe i was so high up. haha! and it grew colder in the bus.
after being cramped in the bus for so long, we finally alighted at first world hotel! haha the exterior and interior of the hotel really look very different =P interior's much better xD the outside of the hotel was really cold!! like air con =) then we went in and waited at the lift lobby while the teachers helped us check in.
and we taught our juniors how to play go back jump! =)
after putting away our luggage at our hotel room, it was our free time! so me jo jancy and cuishan went shopping!! hahaha.
at around 8pm it was the opening ceremony for the 21st Century International Dance Festival.
we saw lots of nice choir and dance performances there! haha then at night around 11 plus i forgot what cuishan and i were doing le. either playing talking or doing homework. hahah.
the second day! it was our competition day!
heehee. i invested a lot of feelings into our dance. and i looked at one of the judges with the most emotional eyes i could. hahaha. and everyone agreed it was one of our best! the feelings part=))
AFTER our comp, that was when we went crazy taking LOTS AND LOTS of photos!! haha!! coz if we didn't win, it would be the last time we're wearing our costumes. sad and emo! haha
our dance theme of "Me and I"
This dance theme is to depict the two different personalities every one of us has. the inner me, and the outer I. what we present ourselves to others may not be us ourselves. the self-dilemma and internal struggles that we often face in our lives of what we are on the outside and who we really want to be. our deepest feelings
the alumni took the most photos man! HAHA! i wanted to post a lot alot of photos that we've taken but dunno why blogger doesn't allow me to! =( after all the emo-ing and crazy photo taking, we went to shower and sleep! heehee. did we do homework? haha i forgot again!
on wednesday we had workshops on choreography, the various dancing techniques and the different kinds of emotions we can express. after that we had a little free time so we went shopping for... :) haha fill in the blanks! :)

fun fun day!!!!!!! we went to the theme park! wheehee! when we were queuing for our he
art-racing rollercoaster ride!
it was the first time i took such a big-scale roller coaster ride. got upside down turns somemore! so exciting yet so scary. i'll never forget the anticipation and fear we felt while we were queuing! i saw the environment turn upside down!! haha thrilling!
after that we went for our lunch! shared fried rice with xinyi and ate ice cream =) the ice cream melted faster than usual so we were trying to use chemistry to prove the reason. hahaha. lower melting point.. hmm why leh? =) oh yeah! and the snacks sold in genting are all puffed up! haha so cute! coz up in the mountains, there's low pressure, so there's high pressure in the snacks and cup noodles! haha interesting.
after lunch we took photos again! hearts :)
see the clouds! after a while they covered the WHOLE of first world hotel! the colourful one. haha
so......
we jumped to reach the clouds!!! really can reach k. in fact we're in the clouds already hahah!

haha this was our favourite ride! can't see anything? because the ride is high up there!
SPACE SHOT!!it was lovely. and breath exhilarating and hair raising! it's like something going very very very high up and then ZOOM down it goes!! our hearts were still up there we came zooming vertically down. it was so fast! it felt like committing suicide haha! wheeeeeeeeeee! and the best thing was, at that moment it was raining! so we were literally going up into the thick dark clouds and the rain drops were on our face! couldn't see anything below our feet. haha scary!! :)) before we went up jieling told us the most wonderful news ever! we got gold with honours in the competition! second in place! haha we were so happy! so when we came down we rushed back to the hotel to prepare for our performance.
took photos with all the award winning groups and went to the cocktail reception! haha! the tea is so nice =)
then we went back to our hotel rooms and josephine, jancy, cuishan and i had a heart-to-heart talk. =) i think almost everyday we slept at 2 plus. btw i can still remember josephine's story was so long! hahaha! glad we could be a listening ear (:
the next day we left genting for singapore! the high temperature place again. haha but it feels so good to be home!
i love aj dancers loads. :)
tmr's our farewell. can't bear to part with jieling, arlana, weivien, xinyi, siping, qianning, yee shin, daphne, jancy, josephine and cuishan. friends for life! love. :)
