Hi there!
Before we announce our next Big Cheese, I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you. The Big Cheese program has been running for 15 weeks now, and you ladies have been amazing! Week after week your submissions are creative and inspirational. We are so glad that you take the time to share them with us!
Now let me introduce this week's Big Cheese!
This gorgeous card was created by Lana. Lana's work is always exceptional, and I love the soft colors and simple layout of this card. Check out the trendy corrugated accents and the absence of a sentiment. So very pretty, Lana!
Lana, your card will be added to the Big Cheese highlight album in the WMS Gallery. Please send me an email and we will provide you with a discount code for $10 off (the price of a small set!!) your next Waltzingmouse Stamps purchase.
Sharon Gregory shared this beautiful monochrome card.
I love the French country feel to this card. The balance is perfect, with the ruffled lace and bow below and the polka dots above. The pop of pink with the cameo is the perfect touch!
This beauty from Jeanne Jachna will be sure to have you thinking of Christmas!
Where to start? This card has such fabulous coordination between elements - the patterned papers, those amazing die cuts, and motifs on the nutcracker himself (his swirly curls, the chevron pattern on his tunic) all mirror each other. This is a great way to create visual balance and aesthetic appeal - everything just goes together. I also am always inspired by line images that aren't colored. Here, Jeanne heat embossed her image, and it looks great!
Thank you ladies for your contributions this week. Would you like the opportunity to be chosen for the Big Cheese? Add your direct links (please!) for your newly uploaded projects here in the WMS Forum, a new thread starts every Monday!
Have a great day!

ReplyDeleteOh Anya....these cards are SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome cards... makes me want to get done with other things and work on cards!
ReplyDeleteBy the time you get this, I'm guessing that you'll be back from your weekend. How did the Craft fair go, did you teach classes, have a booth, etc.? We'd love to hear what you did. (And cry that we weren't there with you!!) That nasty old "Pond" separates you from many of your potential crafting buddies!!! Hugs from all your US friends !!!
ReplyDeleteHi Claire!
ReplyDeleteYou probably won't be able to see this till you get back, but check out the tag that was showcased at the Papercrafts blog, done by Laura Onosato. The date of that particular post is Sept 29. have fun!! Hugs, Helen
Cute cards!
