Yellow Submarine watering hole featuring submarine sandwiches opened in the basement of the Marcus Whitman Hotel in August 1972. It was gone by 1974, but owner Tom Brenner left the seahore paintings on its ceiling so that Joe Drazan could photograph them in 2019. Thanks to Jonathan Grant for the personal tour.
