Barbaine no more.
Leave applied. Day out with ma GIRLs to celebrate Angie's & My birthday. Was about to cross the road but the red man flashed, rain drops fell harder every minute. Drenched.
Lunch at Bugis Cafe, Aglio Olio, SPICY. 2 guys came, 1 was Angie's "present" due to presence. Again, planning how to cross the road from Bugis Village to Bugis Junction, we ran with all bags on head and heels on ground. Drenched.
Ma GIRLs were talking among themselves, knew something's up. So they stopped at Instant Glamour.
Angie: Charm, remember you say you wanted a makeover?
ME: Er.. did i?
Angie: Yup.
ME: Don't want can? (x10)
Angie: Sorry but this is your present.
ME: Huh!? Gosh, it's so EXpensive!!! Can i not?!
At that moment, i was excited yet anxious. First time kays. Unfortunately, only 2 could stay to watch me. PeiYu and Aggie. The rest went for SNAKES ON PLANE. Kinda embarrassed that both of them had to miss the movie just for me, SORRY!
I couldn't make up my mind to what LOOK i want. I of course wanted to look more matured and SEXY. So i asked my girls what's my usual look?

Ok, i have to opt the WILD look out. I would have to go for SWEET and SEXY look.
Began my makeup. Smoky and glittering eyes, arched brown brows, copper pinned up hair.. It's hard to explain in details. Loved the look.
2 outfits.
1st was black halter, bare back with only a string to tie them together. SEXY.
2nd was black flowery dress. SWEET.
Practically, i was "trembling" during the photoshoot. Again, first time kays. HE told me to smile, i was.

Dinner at Breeks and a piece of cheese and chocolate cake for the Princess-es.

What the Princess-es for the day got? Angie, Nicole Richie bag, White jacket, bouquet of balloons. Myself, striped V back & neck shirt and a MAKEOVER.
Greatest present i've ever received, however i look forward to what Hubby have for me.

Appropriately Dressed.
I've gotten my uniform, its BLUE. Apparently, i wore skirt to work the day before, SHE said it was too short and when i sat down it was shorter. Maybe she's jealous. Perhaps that's how i got my uniform despite the fact that i'm only a temp staff. Ok, i look nurse.
So far we had 13 cases since they operated in like 4 months ago. Not bad kays.
After work, Baby eventually pulled me to the wallets and bags department, trying to psycho me to buy a GUESS wallet or handbag. I psychoed him back to not buy me, heartpain kays when money comes out from his pocket. It's our money. Anyways, he knows me, i say no but giving that bye-bye-wallet/bag-i'll-miss-you kinda face.
And so, i promised him a PANERAI watch once i get my pay. His favourite yaww.
I've been looking for nice wedges without back strap just those simple yet elegant slip on. Any cheap place to get it? i was thinking of URS but i wanna keep my choice open. Dresses too, above knee-length. Obsess.

Billnoma.
OT for me on Saturday cuz SHE wanted me to finish the forms. Rights, work done at 2.50pm.
Rush down to meet my Hubby, went Tampines Mall.
Fish & Co. was yum Yum YummY! Fish served on pan. Mine's Grilled Seasonal Fish with Sambal, Hubby's Fish & Chips. Kola Tonic & Ice Tea, lastly, Clam Chowder.
Filled our tummy.
Bought Hubby a Billabong wallet. Green. Me, i'm eyeing on SHAWLs lately. Esprit's pink 1 caught my eye. Wanna eye more first before i lay me eyes on 1.
Sunday was cuddly with Hubby too. Watch THE BREAKUP. Ending was unexpected, they never got back together, neither were they not friends.
The cards in Billabong were exploding, got him a RENOMA instead. Black and Man. While Hubby paid for my top.
I'm like telling everyone so much things when i've said that i don't blog every single thing i do. Kays, i didn't blog everything right? If it's boring then don't read. Like i say, i only blog things that interests me. Ok, what am i talking? Rubbish?!

Unpaid Meal.
Haven't had the time to blog. Every day work from 9-6 back home at 10+pm. I barely have enough sleep, 7 hrs only. Well, i chose this path. I'm not regretting it.
I like my working environment and colleagues. Ok, tell you more. I'm working in Singapore Day Surgery Centre and free lunch paid by the doctors. Good right? I wanted to be a nurse, but with my qualifications it's not possible.
First 2 days of work, the staff nurse wanna test my perserverance and how well i get my job done. They just moved in to Camden Medical Centre for 3 months so lotsa packing and moving stuffs to do. I did them all, great workout. Today i officially started my administrative tasks. Too bad i wasn't asked to wear the scrub uniform, luckily i also wasn't asked to wear formal wear, i don't have much.
All's worth it for the money. Had Japanese lunch today at Tanglin Shopping Centre. Doctor Ang's treat. HEE! Day 1 was hor fun, Day 2 was nasi lemak, nothing i don't favour.
Weekends are round the corner, time for reserved-for-only-Baby yeah!

Pros VS Cons.
Good news & Bad news. Which one first?
Bad news. I've got a job at Camden Medical Centre, working from 9-6pm, 5.5 days. Can't celebrate Angie's & mine BIG day together, can't go out with my girls.
Good news. I've got a job at Camden Medical Centre, working from 9-6pm, 5.5 days. I like to work in medical industry, hoping to be a nurse, Lastly, i found a job!
Hopefully i'll be able to apply leave on the 30th August and 11th October. Yayyy!! Angie's celebrating her BIG day with me this year! her's 1 day away, mine's 11 days away! I like prezzies, i like money, i like i LIKE I LIKE!!! Sorry Angie, k session is out. Will accomodate another time k?
Attention: Kumon Yishun St 71 is looking for part timers to work. Opening Hours are 3-9pm for Tuesdays & Thursdays. Pay is $5/hr. Buzz me k?
Still, i'm continuing KUMON. Tough months ahead. No choice, for the sake of $$.

Tamed for 1 day.
The tailor shop was closed when the receipt stated collection to be made today. So, Hubby couldn't collect the jeans. Wasted trip. Actually not really.
Then we went searching for some hairdressing salon to trim our hair. Set foot on this salon that the lady boss knows Hubby. But he never really appreciated her skills except for her son's. Unfortunately, everytime we paid a visit, his presence was unavailable. Ok, so we gave her 1 more chance. Haha.
I watched his hair being washed while i browse through some magazines.
ME: "Auntie, you have some hairstyles books or references?"
She brought me 5 clear folders with hairstyles inside. I was expecting something fashionable, yeah they were. Fashion in the 80's plus. Then after trimming Hubby's hair, she came to me and smiled, "You wanna trim yours?"
*Fiddling with my bun up hair.
ME: "Ok, but not too short k? I wanna keep the length, just thin it."
My hair is thinner but nothing much changed. Then, Auntie asked her assistant to bring the straightener. I was like thinking, free straightening or what? Anyway i liked the result but Hubby & i was like, are you sure she cut our hair? After the process, i went to Hubby and told him that Auntie rebonded my hair and it costs about $100+.
Hubby: HUH! REALLY?!
Hubby settled the bill, $8 for his, $28 for mine. Lucky for him, my straight hair last for today only. Anyhow, this is the most expensive haircut i ever had.
*Are you sure??!!?!
Yes i'm sure. Kays? The Auntie keep insisting that i look nicer with rebonded hair but i think otherwise, PERMed hair i like.
Auntie: "So when are you coming back to rebond your hair?"
ME: "Er..no thanks."

Cravings without Monies.
Guess who's back? Back again, she is back, back again. She is back, she is back, she is back, she is back.
1 week of exam wave. Finally.
When i'm gone for the 1 week, watched 2 film. Click & Tokyo Drift. Click was VERY emotional, yes i wept. As for the latter, it was drifty, well, i like the music.
Since the exam made me suffer i shan't talk about it. Hopefully i don't get retained. Smoke through it.
Officially, my holiday begins. Anyone wanna ask me out? Gym, k-session, pubbing, shopping and blah blah. And so, with all those i need the paper notes, if anyone out there can get me a temp job which doesn't requires weekend working, buzz me!
Recently, i've been craving for MANY things. The esprit big & small brown shoulder bag, big one for school, small one for casual, same design. Belts, medium size and big one. Shoes, wedges, heels. Clothes..many Many MANY.
Talking about all these, Angie, your BIG day coming yeah...

Chippy Chipped.

Had an hour of gym session on wednesday, tired me out. Hope i lost some calories but i guess not, after that i had chicken rice. I should look forward to more exercising as hols approaching. Any gym buddies? or anyone who wanna play some not so rough but can burn calories sport? What about cardio workout? kick-boxing?
Hubby has a chipped tooth in front..awWwwWW.. i could fill it up with my Kiss.
Long has it been since we've gone shop Shopp SHOPping. We'll go tomorrow!
Rights, i'm left with Saturday and Sunday to mug my Biz Law & Efma, Wednesday for MM & Intro to FS. So much time yeah? I know. Again..

Auction successful.
Just Like Heaven 2nd telecast at home. 1st preview was at cinema.

Met this lady from Yahoo! auctions, i'm suppose to be Rachel (Hubby's sis) cuz she bid the watch on his behalf.
Lady: I'm wearing red blouse and jeans, you?
ME: Oh, i'm in black and jeans.
So Hubby & i were like 2 crazy persons walking around aljunied control station searching for someone wearing red blouse and jeans, but of course not so obvious. Apparently she was wearing red blouse but only the flowers on her blouse were red.
*Lady looks at me, i looked at her.
ME: Er...are you ANNIE?
Lady: Oh yeah! Rachel?
ME: Uh.. yeah yeah.
She was kinda discreet when showing us the 2 watches, like she's an illegal immigrant. She's from China, pretty and stays in geylang. As usual i start imagining things, you know.
Finally we decided on the PANERAI. I paid her $158. Hope it's worth the money, most important, Hubby likes it. Yes he does cuz every since then, he kept fiddling with his watch and like "Is it nice on me?" " Is it big?" blah blah.
We were in a hurry, Hubby's lessons starts at 6.45pm. I had til 9.30pm to do my revision at Funan's Mac while Hubby had his lessons at the opposite building, THE ADELPHI. Mad at Hubby cuz he hadn't had any thing to eat, bought him Chicken Pie from POLAR during his 10mins break at 8.30pm. Hate it when he doesn't eat. Why? Cuz i'm FATter than him.
During the 1 hr at Mac, i just couldn't concentrate. My eyes were wandering, ears were listening to surrounding convos. What i've accomplished is only 1 stinking topic on Equity Financing. All i have to say is, i can't study outside, at home, not anywhere. I can't. See..i'm not studying material.
Lessons over. Bought him Squid heads, carrot cakes were sold out. Home we go.
