I'm on a bit of a notebook edge binge after seeing Diva Moe using it on her card for this sketch.  Adds such a fun bit of interest and texture to your card.  The sentiment is the Hello Friend Plain Jane and I added a flourish from Each Day below it to fill in and balance the sentiment circle.   The hearts are from the Heart Quartet and Wavy Hearts die set and just had to use some gingham ribbon as it has been ages since I used some on a card.

Here are a few beautiful cards I spied in the link-up this week...

Autumn's combination of green papers, fabulous sentiment from New Mercies, polka dotted ribbon and leaf sprig and butterfly made for a great take on the sketch. 

 

Loved Blanka's neutral colour pallet and kraft coloured Christmas tree.

Love Rosemary's use of orange and blue to highlight this sentiment from Good Work.

Here's what I whipped up with the sketch today!  

I simply adore the new Good Work set. So many fabulous verses!  Love this Romans 12:12 verse - great advise for daily living indeed!  Framed it with the flowers from the set using the coordinating Good Work Floral Die Set and added some foliage using the Sprightly Sprigs die set.  The orange seam binding ribbon is from the Summer Sailing Ribbon Collection and I kept the ribbon tails on the longer side to balance off the flowers.

Lisa created a beautiful Christmas card with sparkle and elegance.

 Jennifer's use of the googly eyes on her test tubes caught my eye and made me smile. 

Lesley used these fabulous flowers from Great Friend for her card and I adore the mix of water colouring and text.

Here's what I whipped up with the sketch today!

Combined some yummy Basic Grey paper with Echo Park's polka dots and some neutrals, crimped the kraft panel for some "manly" texture lol, used the Birthday to You Plain Jane for my sentiment and a bit of trim with the Pennant Trim die, included a maple leaf as it is great masculine accent and I have been a bit negligent in using them this fall.

Autumn's card using this wonderful verse from Scripture Medley 3 and fun pompom ribbon paired with the fun recipe paper caught my eye.

Love Petra's use of open circles and a touch of twine.  Love the faux stitching from Borderline, and her sentiment panel using Friendly Phrases (retired) on the Charming Banner dies.

Loved Vickie's take on the sketch for her Halloween themed card.  I always love seeing the pumpkins from Bountiful Harvest, and she paired them wonderfully with the scalloped image in Deco Borders.  The Starry die provided her scatter of stars.

Here's my take on this week's sketch.

Since I still had Kind Words out on my desk, I decided to use it again.  This is one of my all time favorite quotes and it fit perfectly on the Tagged Rectangle Die which I stamped in VersaMark with one of the stamps from Tag Time for a subtle grid pattern.  Added a butterfly and some leaves and then a double banner to balance the diagonal flow.

 Inge created a fabulous masculine card using this week's sketch.  Love the pinked circles, colour combination, splatter, staples and touch of jute.

Blanca created this beautiful Christmas card with the stars surrounding the focal image and a pop of red with the twine.

Nancy and I were on the same page using a butterfly and doily on our cards.   She used Verve's Take The Leap digi and paired it with this fabulous butterfly from Happy Place and coordinating Happy Doodles die set.
